How did you find out about Tiandi? (optional): I was in it twice, twice I disappeared due to lost interest or sucked into IRL hell
National History Overview: Formerly the Majapahit, the empire broke apart during the rise of nationalism and diminishing influence of the central Mandala upon its client states. Much of the former territory was either carved up or incorporated into the empires of various Sinic powers. These various "traumatizing events" resulted in a nationalism based on Buddhist principles and a desire to industrialize so as to not lose any more vital territories that culminated in the independence and founding of the modern Sylanese state during the 1600s and early 1700s.

Contemporary relations with Sinic powers is primarily trade based, although some suspicion and anti-Sinic sentiment has arisen from time to time. Main religions are Buddhism (de facto Theravada but heavy mixing with Mahayana philosophy), Hinduism (syncretized with Buddhism), and traditional animism (practiced in conjunction with Buddhism and Hinduism). Islam is practiced by a sizable minority in Maluku, Brunei, Sabah, Demak, and in large cities.

National History Overview: The Incan Empire traces its lineage back to a man known as Manco Cápac, the almost mythical founder of the Kingdom of Cusco, the Incan precursor state. Cápac assumed the throne and led his relatively small duchy to prosperity. Economically sated, the second king adopted a more expansionist tone. Several local tribes, notably the Chancas, were incorporated into the now growing Cusco. His son conquered much of the mountainous territory of the Empire and (RL) Peru and Ecudor.
In the 14th century, the empire became too large for the king to rule over by himself. Thus, he reorganized the empire into four major regions, all with their own provisional governor. That system is what the Empire largely refers to itself as, Tawantinsuyu (the four regions). Firmly set on ruling as far as the mountains stretched, spies were dispersed into rival nations and more small kingdoms were acquired. The Incas became a near continental hegemony, only being suppressed by a coalition of city-states just beyond their border. Expansion has since been put on the back burner, with social and economic issues becoming more pressured by the public.

Asian explorers have been officially ignored, too small in number to demand action, however this has resulted in a small but tightly-knit group of Eastern exiles taking refuge in the continent's jungles and mountains. It is also widely speculated that those same explorers were the ones that kick started the country's small yet profitable mining and lumber sectors, areas that for decades had never been seriously considered.

By the time he died Han controlled Wu and parts of Plains Mando. The city of Nanjing had grown to become the center of the Han state. It became the capital and it was also a commercial, cultural, and political hub of the Han State. The state was the first to expect Buddhism but Confucianism was still the main religion. In the following years, it would also be a local naval power. With that said they didn't neglect their army but it wasn't as strong as some of their neighbors, and it was an economic powerhouse. It controlled several ports and it had cities like Jiankang, Pencheng, and Su-zhou

In the year 4099, it would send an expedition to the unknown lands. The reason was to secure more natural resources and gold. The state didn't want to lose to nations like Mongolia, Korea, Japan, and to its fellow Chinese states. The expedition took place with some of the first steamships that Han ever used. When they arrived, they blew away the locals. The ships that blew smoke frightened them, and they thought it was some type of demon that was coming to punish them. When they saw the strange Asian men step off they ran away. The Han soldiers weren't used to people this backward so they returned home and started another expedition. This time with settlers. Every settler was guaranteed 5km of land. The area quickly became industrialized and they also found some gold there.

Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces (which overlap in your claim) have a combined population of 130 million (160 million with Shanghai), and though your claim wouldn't reflect this full population (and perhaps alternate history can make for some changes in demography) your population could stand to be much larger - if you wanted.

Also your GDP per capita - again if you wanted it to be so - could and perhaps should reach the 40-50k range.

Our populations should reflect the mass increases in population which would have occurred due to the Columbian Exchange, modern farming techniques, mass production, the Green Revolution, and so on.

The technology levels in this RP have progressed faster than OTL. Additionally, we intended this to be an MT RP - not historical. Sorry for the confusion. App as though your nation were existing in a world much like the modern one in terms of technology and development. Buses, cars, aircraft, etc.
