Been busy lately- finals coming up and all that

As part of the previously-hinted OOC-shakeup, I would like to take this time introduce the Co-OP for Coastal Daytona Academy, The Free Territory of Makhnovia. While this past week, and this upcoming week, has been (and will be) rather hectic for my online schedule - I do hope to send you some telegrams, Makhnovia, about what sort of authority and the like accompanies the role. End-goal, as stated for everyone's knowledge, is to be able to have this thing continue onward at a respectable pace for you all in the event I am absent for a week or two, as may likely happen on occasion between college, work, and social life.

And on that note, I do have a brief window of time today to post, and fully intend to utilize this opportunity to do so.

Apologies for only responding just now, as I am off from my normal posting/online schedule - and will continue to be so throughout the weekend.

To answer your question, not a whole lot. We've advanced past the assembly, and are allowing a bit of a free-period for characters in the IC-thread. Players of junior characters are welcomed to participate in the Classroom-Thread that is still ongoing.

Mahknovia has been named our roleplay Co-OP, who I've been in discussion with pertaining to ideas and events to spur up activity in this roleplay once more with more regular, consistent posters.

I'm in the process of writing up a post pertaining to a few characters. Not entirely certain when it will be up, but I hope to at least get one or two of them up either tonight or tomorrow. I will be certain to include Sydney in that number.

Biography: Noah, the son of a police officer and a hotel maid, has lived his entire life in the Daytona Beach area, though he has occasionally vocalized an innate desire to spend his college years in another state, if it were economically feasible for him to do so. Thus, it is with the goal of attaining a scholarship for an out-of-state university, Noah has spent his Sophomore and Junior years, pouring into his studies and working hard to develop his skill as a well-rounded, proficient athlete on the baseball diamond. His love for the game of baseball, however, was a meandering one that began in his childhood years, where he played in local peewee leagues. He had been practically raised in the sport, partaking in t-ball as a toddler, though as Noah grew up into his childhood, he had grown a tad bored with the game and sought his parents to inquire if he could pursue another summer-time sport, or activity. At the age of twelve, Noah took a break from baseball. However, he failed to find another activity, and settled to spend his summer off-days locked in his room and endlessly playing video games. It took a conversation with a former coach, one whom he had greatly-respected from his childhood years, and the painful admission to the coach that he decided to take a break - to play video games, which compelled Noah to take up the sport once more.

Hey everyone,

As of tonight, everyone who hadn't responded to my telegram inquiring if they were interested at this point (save for a handful, whose characters are still listed in the roster - as I am aware to their spotty activity) has been officially purged from the roleplay altogether. The number was quite extensive, and as many affirmative responses I had gotten from the rest - I hope this translates to an activity spurt. C'mon guys, we NEED you all to step up.

I've already mandated everyone in the Leadership Group for CDA that they must post at least once per week in any IC-thread in order to retain their position for the foreseeable future.

Anyone else who doesn't post within the next two weeks will have their characters automatically purged as well. We are going full-court press on a complete revival of this roleplay.

If you are struggling with ideas for posting, you are certainly welcome to either tell us in the OOC or telegram me. We will be more than happy to assist you.

We have plenty of opportunities to get involved, with two other, separate, IC-threads:
- In the Classroom thread, we have Junior American History with Mahk and.... just myself.
- In the Special Events thread, we have the start of a weekend beach/house party. Everyone is invited.
