Brief word of update on the matter: the operating plan, which is certainly tentative and is likely to change if it is met with much objection, once the assembly proper is complete, is to do a few things:

1.) Initiate our first classroom scene. If the player who voted with the desire to focus on the week could telegram me, in order to ensure that they are included in the classroom/week's activities, that would make planning this out much more easier. I cannot name which grade, or teacher, would be involved until I have an idea as to what we are going to be working with.

2.) Concurrent events with the party. This may be a bit tricky, and may lead to confusion, but it should be noted that it is not as though everyone must partake in the party. This is an open-world roleplay, and so you are certainly welcome to have your character(s) do something else, concurrent with the festivities. The party is merely a planned event, and you are always welcome to splinter off from them in order to do your own things outside of school.

3.) Flashback events, before the party. This is even trickier to get right, but something I am willing to assist with if there is anything in particular that players want to write out. I strongly suggest either commenting ideas they are wanting to hash out below, or telegramming them to me. We can certainly make things work.

I recommend taking things down a notch for him, as he is quite overpowered as a character. For starters, number one in his state as a high school sophomore is a bit much. If you want him number one, for those things, I say no later than senior or junior year. And, frankly, him being compared to LeBron James/Dwayne Wade, being the "Player of the Game" of the NCAA Championship game, being drafted number two overall in the NBA, and going on to win NBA Championships all add up to being a bit much as well. Fortunately, that is the only real issue for him, which is manageable. Provided some edits are made, which we are more than happy to assist you with, he is likely to be accepted.

Biography: Suzannah Waters was born in Edgewater Florida on August 17 2004. Her father worked at the Boston Whaler boat manufacturers after dropping out of high school to marry her mother after impregnating her at a school prom. When Suzannah was three her parents divorced amicably and her mother voluntarily left her father with custody. Her father married again the next year to the sister of one of the workers at the Whaler. They stayed together for the next six years while Suzannah went to public school.

In third grade she made it to the school spelling bee but was eliminated in the first round. She averaged C and D grades but struggled in mathematics and had to take summer school after fourth and fifth grades but managed to get her first C in the class in sixth grade before getting Ds in seventh and eighth. In seventh grade she joined the school volleyball team for the first time but overweight and not athletic looking she was on the bench the whole year. The next year after two girls got pulled muscles they put her in as setter and realized she had very good hands and she won a starting role and got to play in her first games.

That eighth grade year her father divorced again after her stepmother caught him cheating. There was a custody fight but her father's lawyer played up an old drug offense from her mother and she stayed with him. She got an A in biology that year one of her first and graduated with a C average.

That summer her father got married for the third time to a wealthy Englishwoman he had charmed. Suzannah would have been going to a public high school but her stepmother set her up to go to Coastal Daytona Academy as they bought a new house in Daytona Beach. Suzannah did not get along comfortably with her new stepmother. She was kind to Suzannah but tried to push her to improve herself which made Suzannah side more towards her easygoing father. Entering the new private school she plans to try out for the volleyball team but takes it one day at a time.

She is one of the principals that the kids think is somewhat "cool", as she is understanding of teen issues and sympathetic to the stresses that cause the misbehavior that often has to address. While she does not go out of her way to dodge or violate school policy, she sometimes lets kids off with warnings or assigns non-conventional punishments or duties to troublemakers, many of which are designed to help fellow staff members.

Biography: Born to a single mother in Havana who fled with her infant to Florida shortly after her birth, Valeria was raised in abject poverty. Her mother was constantly between jobs, sometimes even resorting to prostitution to feed her family. Barely speaking a word of English, the poor woman relied on Valeria to translate often through her childhood, with her English seemingly never imroving despite attempts from her daughter to teach her. It is during this struggle that Valeria decided she would become a teacher and help others where she could, unfortunately, not help her mother. Graduating from high school in the middle of her class, she attended Florida State University and got a degree in English, along with a teaching certificate that allowed her to pursue her dream career. She ironically booked a job as a Spanish teacher, given that the English slots were all filled, at a small private school, Coastal Daytona Academy, in Daytona Beach. Moving there, marrying a man named Ian (who works in Finance), and having a single child named Isabella, Valeria's life was falling into place. 4 years later, a spot in the English department opened up after the death of a long-serving employee, and Valeria jumped at the opportunity, getting the job and eventually rising to head the English department. In 2008, with a Masters Degree in School Administration now under her belt, Valeria accepted a promotion, becoming the Freshman Grade Level Principal and enjoying her new job. In 2014, Valeria once again accepted a promotion, now becoming Vice Principal, overseeing the entire school and having contact with an even wider variety of students. In early 2017, with her daughter finishing off a masters degree up in Maryland, her husband announced that he would be pursuing a divorce, something that infuriated the professional woman Valeria had become. After an explosive final confrontation, Ian was forced from the home and Valeria was left to weep alone. With the new school year kicking off, she has regained her composure, accepted her circumstances, and mostly returned to her normal self, though she has become more impulsive than normal.

Biography: Born to a naval officer and schoolteacher in Vladivostok, Elizaveta's early life was not one where she went hungry. Her father's occupation saving her from such a fate as malnutrition. However her early life did not always end up good. When the Soviet Union collapsed, the crutch of her father's service turned into a crutch of her father's misdeeds. He was arrested in a OMON raid, breaking up his attempt to support his family through the weapon's trade. It was this point in time where she and her mother, now disgraced, had to move closer to the Western border of Russia.

It was in Samara that Elizaveta would spend the rest of her formative and teen years. It was also where she'd meet her first husband Aleksander. Their friendhsip would blossom into a relationship, and then marraige in late 2007, when Elizaveta was still in university. Aleksander -much like her own father- was a member of the Russian forces, and as such, was soon deployed to fight in Chechnya, it was also where he died.

Elizaveta, seven months pregnant, and now with no other choices, was forced to drop out of university, leaving behind a master's in biomedical engineering. Taking odd jobs was her livelihood, and with a very short amount of support from her mother, she was able to make a small living after giving birth to Angelika. It was in 2011 that Elizaveta decided that she would have to leave her old life behind, not only for her own sake, but for her daughter's as well. Later that year she signed for a possible work Visa from the US, as well as for a possibility of a green card via the US Lottery. For once in her life she was lucky, getting one of the few thousand green cards handed out by the US annually.

yet there are times where Elizaveta regrets her decision to uproot her family. A lack of a stable job, as well as an inability to find decent housing resulted in Elizaveta renting a single bedroom apartment in Daytona Beach, on very little salary, sometimes going hungry so her daughter could eat. It has been this way for nearly seven years, Elizaveta has drifted between minimum wage jobs, bordering on the line of poverty. And now, she's fallen back on a bachelor's degree as a last resort, a local school all that's left to guard her and her daughter from homelessness.

North Prarie, please do not "world-build" at the campus of Coastal Daytona Academy. Normally, I am not particularly strict on this matter, but it will inevitably lead to contradictions, and dissonance, if this is allowed to become a trend.

Elsewhere, however, it is certainly perfectly acceptable (in fact, a necessity in many cases) for you to do so, provided it doesn't conflict with already established canonical details, of course.

Don't be afraid to ask, either, as the Co-OPs and myself are more than willing to answer any questions you may have.

The passion and dedication he brings, day-in and day-out, at Coastal Daytona Academy has created an environment where nothing short of excellence is tolerable. Yet, even with his passion for making an impact in the lives of students, he hasn't quite grasped the art of public speaking just yet. Otherwise, by all accounts, he is one of the most respected, and sometimes even feared, of school faculty by the students of CDA.

He returned home, with his wife Debra, to Tallahassee, Florida and had served as a local school's assistant disciplinarian and JROTC instructor for three years. In 2003, Patrick (through a reference of his childhood friend, Carl Taylor) had applied for the same job position at Coastal Daytona, eventually becoming the head disciplinarian at CDA in 2007. In 2013, the principal had retired and the assistant-principal had been fired after being arrested for illegal drug possession. Patrick, by a narrow-margin and only due to the endorsement of Coach Taylor, was given the opportunity to serve as the school's interim principal for the 2014-2015 school year, and has maintained the position ever since.

Humor aside, a far more serious iteration of the application I had just posted will follow-suit promptly. Meanwhile, I'd also like to take this time to explain the purpose behind the "mega-post," the one containing the spoiler:

As we are still in the process of ironing things out for this roleplay, I wanted to take the opportunity to experiment around with the idea of an in-depth slice-of-life post that is mostly filled with "filler" material and humor. Due to New Flattnerk's OOC-reasons for being unable to keep up with posting, we collaborated on a scene via Discord (which, frankly, it can be quite easy to underestimate as to the length of scenes hashed out through that outlet). Note that the contents of post itself is not particularly consequential to all of your characters, and thus it was rather intentional to have it all set in a private setting to some degree (outside, alone on a bench outside of campus, followed by a trip to the parking lot before heading to their dorm rooms), but I am working on a list (currently in the process of re-reading it, to ensure I didn't leave out any details), to be published on here that will contain anything of note that may be of note, such as the arrangement of the dorm rooms and similar details. Rather than reading through the entire post, I welcome a different approach - such as a text-to-speech one. There are numerous websites one can utilize, if you truly wish to go through the contents of the spoilered "mega-post."

With that being said, I do not intend, whatsoever, to publish a similar mega-post again - despite it serving the purpose we had intended for it, which is developing (in a non-consequential way) a particular trio of characters that New Flattnerk and I have particularly extensive plans for the duration of this roleplay.

Finally, if you wish to withhold an entrance to the assembly, until such details are shared in a far-less extensive post, that is understandable. Expect the aforementioned list, as well as the revised principal's application, to be up by tonight. However, note that anyone who wishes to do so may begin to make their way, and to take their seats, in the gymnasium for the assembly. Note that cheerleader characters are going to be standing off to the side, rather than sitting with their classmates, however, due to a routine.

Brief rundown of important details, included in the "megapost," delivered as promised:

- The dorm rooms are more like miniature apartments, and some furniture is provided. Beds, sofa, dining table, and chairs are among the few things provided by the school, with students able to bring their own things as they please.

- For the more detail-oriented, a physical key is provided to students who dorm on campus, yet returning students may recall lingering discussions from school administrators about the implementation of some sort of an electronic security system.

- Students were able to move their belongings into their dorm-rooms, at any point, prior to the assembly. If you haven't posted that your character had done so already, no worries as a glossed over "also happened" summary of such is acceptable.

- If you treasure a certain lamp, make sure Sophia Taylor and Audrey Harte stay as far away from it as physically possible. Trust us, just don't even ask.
