I use my NationStates stats, because a population of billions/trillions and an economy of hundreds of trillions is totally viable, trust me.
But seriously, aside from the population and GDP, just assume that my NS stats are roughly accurate.

Sorry for not being on lately. I had to be away today, and I am stepping away from computer things at nights and in some mornings like I had been. But Munchkin will still go on! Thanks for being patient. And my post is up - with the second post involving the mysterious Wicked Witch of the Midwest and her machinations.

Well, you didn't actually ask for one. I put it up here on the OOC page to let me know whoever wanted loot, and you had your character go back and eat instead. So, I took that to mean you didn't want loot.

However, being as that you are heading off down the road, I will have the next monster attack your character. You will need help. (In the boardgame terms, you'd basically be at a level 2.) But you can ask IC whoever you think would help.

REMEMBER EVERYONE - MONSTERS CAN DEFEAT YOUR CHARACTERS.

Am I allowed for Red Queen Alexandria to not die from the insurance salesman & instead try to negotiate insurance with him or something for the party? She might take damage, but in a game like this I'd say almost every enemy we'll face can probably squash her, so it's damage in an already minuscule health pool. Probably won't have much effect in later battles, since damage she might take will probably be fatal anyway.

Edit 2: Posted anyway. If we do stop attacking the insurance salesman, Alexandria will probably start talking with him after her song is over, which will conveniently end if everyone stops attacking. Not necessary to stop, but it's a route.
Edit 3: I'll probably design Alexandria to be pretty bad in combat in exchange for slight diplomatic capabilities & of course singing. Disproportionate? Maybe, since this roleplay is combat focused, but sometimes sideline work can still be fun (she's probably going to be screwed over near the end, though, if everyone starts backstabbing one another :U).

Shwe - I loved your post. It was classic. As for being bad in combat, everyone is supposed to be bad at combat when we start. The fact that people even have weapons is a far cry from the real Munchkin game, where the only weapons you get are the ones you find. That said, there will be magic loot for you too, that will turn Alexandria into a more capable fighter. And who knows? Maybe a gigantic curse will come along that will increase her height. Or maybe not. Maybe she's just a shrimp at the end, but a powerful, magically endowed fighting shrimp at that.

I think I may need to make a chart that has levels of ability for fairness' sake. In the Munchkin game, you have to get to level 10 by going through like 9 rooms first, and the first to get there is the winner. I should probably do something like that in one of the first OOC posts so people can see and know that just because they attack a creature, doesn't mean they'll win. I think I should also post a list of the loot people have that they have made known.

Guys - I would also like for specific combats to be given to specific players from now on. It's really easy to just jump in. But it definitely affects the intended unfairness of the game, in that some people will go up a level after defeating a specific monster, but not everyone who joins in the fight will. The ones who get invited in to the fight get their share of loot. Otherwise, you can join in but you won't advance or get treasure. That will help me as well, because there's only so much treasure that can go around.

Course, she can't use any other weapons since her two items are stuck to her hands, but she could possibly kill everyone if her smoking stick displaces all of the oxygen in a closed room. Also, her voice is enhanced such that it's heard without any pitch changes in spite of her small size, so it's really not pipsqueak & her voice is closer to a mature, noble one.

So far, I think Archibald is doing well and definitely fitting in. The first post you had with him wielding a chicken leg as a weapon was great. If only that chicken leg had been used in combat though. That would add to the comedy.

Also I like the fact that one of his major enemies in his past was an insurance salesman. With comedy you can make stuff up like that.

As for tips - there was one post where you said something about us running into a cave and nobody had actually mentioned a cave. It's not that we couldn't be there. I guess I thought we were outside...

Interaction with other characters is always helpful too. Sometimes a good idea comes when you see how someone else reacts.

One more thought. If you are ever interested in bringing up an idea here in the OOC, I think we would all be willing to chip in and give input. Possibly even make it funnier.

Keep it up Varola. You are doing great.

Hey guys!

It's been a really busy few weeks but I should be able to post an update tomorrow!

Before I do, I think we're going to have 2 chests of loot. I know a lot of people helped fight the insurance salesman of doom. I will read up on who all did, and try to split it evenly. Everyone who would like loot can get some (especially if you didn't get anything before).

One other update. Barapam is going to be temporarily unavailable. I will be assuming control of her character (at least if I need to).

So, who's up for interacting in Munchkin today?

And remember, while it may seem like mindless violence and no plot, there is actually a plot. It's just slow moving and we don't see our roles in it quite yet.

I use my NationStates stats, because a population of billions/trillions and an economy of hundreds of trillions is totally viable, trust me.
But seriously, aside from the population and GDP, just assume that my NS stats are roughly accurate.

I would like to apologise to all for my unanniunced 5 day absence as the WiFi network which I was connected to had banned all websites which were categorised as games (unfortunately, this website was also included).

If Talchyon allows, I would like a summary of what has happened in this 5 day period of time stretching from Wednesday to Sunday +8 UMT.

Hey man. Good to see you back. Hate it that your Wi-Fi cut you off from NS.

And you never have to ask my permission for a summary of what's going on. It's fine.

Basically, the insurance agent of doom was taken care of. If you want loot, just let me know.
