History [MUST LINE UP WITH HISTORY IN "STATUS" SECTION, NOT SET IN STONE AND MUST BE APPROVED BY OPs, WRITE IT LIKE IT'S GOING IN THE "STATUS" SECTION - Following the shattering of international peace and stability in recent years the Italian Government nearly collapsed under the weight of the frightened nation and the imbalanced world.
This lead to people being more aware than ever of the weakness and ineptitude of its own government and they turned to the CRNI, a political parity which honestly preached and promised change. In the elections which followed this awakening almost all irl Italian parties and politicians, except the PD which has made a rebound in recent elections, were voted out and replaced with CRNI politicians.
After consolidating power by increasing the governments size, amplifying the unitarianism of Italy’s administrative subdivisions, ousting all remaining corrupt politicians, and totally revamping the Italian political landscape, the CRNI and its president, Antonio Severino, got down to business.
In the first two years of Severino’s presidency a good fifteen bills were passed, countless proposed or underfunded government programs were subsidized, and a lot of change was made. Some of this change, however, lead to foreign commentary. Increasing amounts of Euroscepticism has made an XX more likely than ever, Italy has decreased diplomatic and political relations with Russia (but it continues to trade with them) due to Russia’s amplified expansionism, and Italy itself has shown some expansionist desires, despite the CRNI being a non-interventionist party.
Despite international and domestic suspicions and scrutiny the CRNI has made changes. While the reintroduction of the lira has caused immense devaluation of the Italian economy it has lead to it being a major exporter due to its relatively cheap currency when converted into other currencies like the Euro or USD; Italy is now the twenty-eighth least corrupt nation in the world and no longer the sixtieth; the larger and more powerful government hasn’t infringed upon civil liberties a lot and has primarily used its power to more quickly enforce legislation and reform the still inept and extant Italian bureaucracy; and it is once again seen as a prime example of how to run a nation and not used as an example for what not to do in order to prevent your nation from becoming slow-working, underfunded, embezzled, and downright pathetic.
Right, I'm going to break some of the issues down. There are a good bit, but a decent percentage are just based off of confusion in the application
- No roleplay example
- "Executive Title - His Excellency" The head of the Italian government is the Prime Minister, "his excellency" is the kind of title a North Korea applicant would put
- "Religion Breakdown - Agnostic" I meant something like this, Italy is overwhelmingly Roman Catholic.
- CRNI doesn't exist in real life, and huge party shifts like that aren't generally allowed, and Italy isn't in a position to circumvent that rule. Although the M5S looks pretty similar to the CRNI and has become the largest single party in Italy according to the elections that happened two weeks ago in real life.
- When I asked "breakdown of military" I meant something like what's seen here, also you nearly doubled your armed forces, which is a bit much.
- Italy uses the Euro at the moment
- Italeave probably wouldn't be the biggest it's ever been since the economic crisis of 2008 is gone and Virumaa reinforced European Unity at light of an American withdrawal. Italy and Greece are the two most likely to leave, but it's not overwhelming. You can take a look at my charts from the Pew Research Center, which probably would've changed a bit, but is a good base.
- I can see Italy working on their corruption, but half it cut it's corruption ranking in half is a bit much. Having Italy slash corruption in six years takes away a lot of the challenge for an Italy player
- Support for radical-rightist parties, the kind you'd probably need to do that kind of expansion, are probably not going to rise in Italy.

History - For much of recent history, Mexico has been a nation struggling to survive. The War on Drugs declared by American President Richard Nixon was not only a large blow to the stability to the struggling Mexico, but to nearly all of Latin America. The metaphorical war drove the drug trade underground through Latin America, drastically increasing government corruption, crime rates, and the power of the cartels. In the 90s, Mexico opened its economy to NAFTA, allowing them to use the United States to secure their economy. The Mexican government has a future of strife and conflict ahead of them, constantly battling corruption and the drug trade in order to make Mexico the leader of Latin America.
After an comparatively uneventful Presidency of José Antonio Meade that saw foreign investment grow despite corruption and violence remaining rampant, a fresh face of the PRI was voted into office on the platform of winning the drug war and having reportedly convinced then President Trump of abandoning the border wall plan. Unknown to the public, President Carlos Slim Domit, son of Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, is the childhood friend of Cristobal Carvajal alias “El Licensiado”; the leader of a relatively small but powerful secret society/crime syndicate called “El Yunque”. It’s power lies in its money laundering, political connections, legal fronts, and status as an urban legend instead of usual cartel violence.

Well wouldn’t the isolation of America have caused a major power vacuum which would amplified the precariousness of every nation greatly? Yeah, America's isolation would've definitely rocked the boat a bit, but I don't think it would've done that. The party would have to grow to dominant status in seven months, while the party isn't really too different from the M5S, besides the corruption bit [And that whole neo-Roman thing, which probably isn't too practical since colonialism is a huge resource drain. And the fact that you'd probably die to UN sanctions and to some Angry African and Balkan lads]
Basically, what I'm saying is, what's the issue with M5S?

Basically, what I'm saying is, what's the issue with M5S?
M5S is a little bit too radical. Granted so is the CRNI but the entire anti-establishmentarianist and
degrowth ideologies are not in tune with my ideals and what I envision this Italy as. Maybe CRNI can be a splinter party or a successor?

Yeah, I was shafted a bit when I made my application too. Even though I'm the OP, the IE really wanted me to start out SPD even though the CDU are the fiscally responsible ones, damn it.
Anyways... A splinter faction could work, I may be willing to work with that... But, I'll put forth my last proposal before just figuring out how the CRNI would work, because it sort of works as a splinter faction. Or if it joined the center-right coalition. But, before I go there, what about going with, say, Lega Nord in the center-right coalition?

Okay, I’ve looked through Lega Nord and the parties of the centre-right coalition and I’ll go ahead and make the CRNI a centre-right coalition member. Now so you can accept it do you want it to be like the second or third largest party which the incumbent president belongs to?

It would be first largest in the coalition with, give-or-take, 110 seats putting it a bit bigger than Lega Nord. Actually, let me create an image or something so I know what I'm doing. I don't want to negotiate myself into a legislature which has 50%+ in the center-right coalition.
