Hey Chewion, mind giving me a day to see if I can finish up my own WIP for France? If you're dead-set on it I can take a peek elsewhere, forgot to remove the openning of my reservation post after editing, my bad.
Because sometimes even national leaders just want to hang out

Check TG. I really do want France. I feel it is the open nation I can RP the best from my current knowledge and true IRL interest in it meaning I can make longer and deeper posts.

If you're dead set on France, go for it I'm happy to find another nation, as much fun as tag-teaming with Germany to unite Europe would be.

I wouldn't mind too much, considering Oxford has been working with IBM on quantum computing.Labstoska wrote:How long will it take me to develop my new industrial robot.
That's too vague for me to tell xD

I'm not quite sure.Chewion wrote:Wow so you won’t even give me a chance to prove myself to you? Besides you believing I’m apparently to stupid to write an articulate post what other reasons are there? I’m genuinely curious.
Nothing to do with brainpower. You have a reputation for godmodding and with short posts, I've only ever seen a handful which are decent. And that's a reputation I don't want to risk inside of the roleplay. This is evident when you look back at International Warfare, banned for heavy godmodding [Conjuring up nukes, having a 10 Trillion GDP, with an army of three million as Australia of all places] and that's not even mentioning the hellhole that was Global Warfare. When you were permitted to play International Warfare, you absolutely zapped my enthusiasm for the duration you were there, which made writing posts and running the roleplay as a whole more difficult than it should've been. And, regardless, letting you play a major nation such as France, even with your reputation alone, is an absolute no-go. Plus the other things, I'd rather have you absent from this roleplay.
Now, despite the past paragraph, I have absolutely no disdain for you, quite the contrary actually. I think you're a cool person and I look forward to roleplaying with you in the future when you've improved

How about giving me chance. Let me play a less important nation like Austria or Hungary? And if I prove myself unsatisfactory then I’ll gladly leave.

Isn't there a minium post length requirment in the rules?

From an objective view, I'll say this. Measuring a paragraph in the legnth of words or sentences is not something I'm a fan of, but there of course needs to be some sort regulation. I would consider a decent well thought about paragraph to be about 7 to 10 lines generally. Personally I've had trouble finding posts that meet this quota in multiple paragraphs. But, I'm willing to give you somewhat of a benefit of the doubt, and say if you can provide some-sort of an example of this [which means a 35-50 line post], that you might have a better chance of being accepted. As from what I can tell this RP is a much slower pace, so just posting quick updates that only cover one or two things, or simply an interaction of characters or countries, is likely not going to pass. No ones asking you to write a small novel for your posts, but they should be around five or more times larger than this paragraph you just finished reading. Espically considering five paragraphs is considered a minium for this RP. Though you also have to realize that if you incapible, yet are still allowed to RP, that there is a high chance you can damage to enjoyablity of the RP to the other people invovle, since from what I can remember, similar things happened in the past RP [to which this is kind of a spirital sucessor].
But that's just my two cents, and I'm a military advisor not a co-op [unless something has changed]
