If you can't join the Discord I wouldn't be Poland, since all EU discussion and meetings happen on there, you either wouldn't get a vote or France would have to move all the IC meetings to a Google Doc. I'm not open to a lot of choices in the middle east, mostly since i'm in the dark when it comes to Arab states on the persian gulf. My only choices are either the Levantines, Kurdistan, or Turkey. I don't understand the war mechanics so that leaves turkey out of the picture

We don't really need any persay, but here's a few that we'd certainly like to have

• Any of the Turkish factions, Akar rebels, Erdogan government, PKK; Lots of fun war mechanics and gets you right into the action, plus very easy to slide out of
• Brazil; The big boi of South America, Mexico wants a friend in Latin America anyways, lots of opportunities to influence the states around you and maybe form your own Latin Bloc if you're so inclined, I'd scrap the Rio Pact pretty early out of the gates if you do this though, alliance is rife with corruption. Also Argentine and you aren't very bueno so watch out.
• Japan; A US-influenced bubble surrounded by big boy China, lots of opportunities and directions to work towards with it, though their debt is awful so you're probably gonna have to deal with an inevitable default
• Germany; Linchpin of the EU my dude, slowly moving to federalize with France and the Benelux, agreement is already signed for around a (10?) year timescale so it's mostly fending off Russian interests and trying to make the EU glorious, I used to play Germany and it was quite fun
• Vietnam; Stuck between China and India, both trying to coerce you with treats and gifts... China's gifts more being angry shouting, but you get the idea.
• Saudi Arabia; Have your own glorious Middle Eastern Cold War with Iran, I'd probably be this if I wasn't China and if Germany was off the table
• Poland; Another EU nation but not as linch-piny. This one's basically required to have a Discord though, just like Germany, since foreign affairs are a huge chunk of their content, more specifically EU affairs.
• Ethiopia; Yelling at Egypt, damming up part of the Nile, and trying to make friends in Africa and Asia.
• Indonesia; The Brazil of SEA, just replace the US screeching into your neighborhood with China and it's basically the same thing.

History After World War II and the Korean War, the Korean Peninsula had changed drastically. The peninsula was split between an Authoritarian, Communist North and a Democratic, Capitalist South. The Republic of Korea is one of the most developed countries in Asia, similar to Japan in proficiency in information technology and in culture. In past decades, the South Korean government has repeatedly pushed for reunification of the two nations, but the Kim regime has repeatedly shot down unification talks, viewing South Korea as one of their worst enemies. Ever since North demonstrated nuclear capabilities, the people of the South have been wary of the North Koreans. With cracks becoming evident in the Kim regime, however, the time for reunification may be nearing.
