With Brazil seeming like a boiling pot of corruption, distrust, and poverty the people grew tired. President Manuel Barbosa stepped in but so far the drastic change promised seemed to fail. In fact, the past leaders seem to have nothing but these empty promises. This has stirred some the wrong way, many want change. The elections, however, are coming close. Soon the people can once again choose a new leader. Current President Barbosa has made public statements of his intentions to run again, but will he do anything worth renewing? Will the President lead Brazil to a new golden age? Or will Brazil be once again looked down upon by its lack of leadership?

(I think I did this right although I probably butchered some of the things *cough cough military cough cough* so if I could get some help that would be much appreciated xD )

Alright, just a couple things, nothing too serious at all. 1. the military number, please separate it into its categories of active and reserve. It would be a large help. 1.5. Got scared at the aircraft carrier, but then read they are gonna get a helicopter one from Britain so all is good. 2. Just so you know, a previous Brazil player did make a couple actions. Which you will have to carry with you as well, what I could say is the previous leader resigned and your guy took office so all should be good.

Other than just a couple minor adjustments and a little forward knowledge, unless my peers have something to say.

History: Haiti started out as a French colony in the Caribbean while on the other side, the Dominican Republic was a Spanish colony. Long story short, Haitians were slaves of the French, and a colony that was under their rule. Next, they declared independence and had one of the first Revolutionary Wars. Republic Dominicana followed. Things were very promising, but then the big Haitian earthquake of 2010 left many Haitians in orphanages, on the streets, no home, and no jobs. However, in 2024, things turned around really quickly. The new government shook up, and here we are as Haiti is rebuilding under the rule of Deerfenese officials and Haitian officials side-by-side. -

Alright let’s tear this apart

1. For nation name it would be Republic of Haiti, just so you know.

2. Its type of Government is not Parliament, it is a unitary semi-Presidential Republic

3. The political party that currently holds the majority in Haiti would be the Haitian Tèt Kale Party (PHTK)

4. The religion breakdown would be more like this

Catholic- 56.8%

Protestant- 29.6%

Unaffiliated- 10.6%

Other- 3%

5. For goals it would make sense to move rebuilding the Haitian economy into public, private goals should be of more personal realistic goals you wish to work towards in the RP. Like wanting to reunify the island and annex the Dominican Republic, or something of that matter.

6. I would say something about the military but not much information is really given about it, so that I’ll let it slide. But from the looks of it, you don’t have any MBTs only some armored cars and civilian vehicles. Aircraft as well is abysmal, so I wish you luck there.

7. The currency is actually 1 gourde = .015 USD, don’t wanna doom your economy do ya.

8. The domestic problems wouldn’t just be poverty, but Haiti also suffers overpopulation and environmental issues, as well as high corruption and some crime.

9. Foreign problems should not only include more foreign aid but also about the large amount of drugs being transported through the country. You and the Dominican Republic are actually quite hostile towards each other, so that can be another thing.

10. Your nation isn’t actually in this, so nothing about your nation should be in the history. You are role playing as the nation alone, acting as the leading party and person, and leading the nation to a glorious future.

So that is all I have to say, fix these and we shall see.
