The Premise
The year is 1867 and America is much different from how we know it. The USA doesn't exist and America's been divided among different colonial powers. Spain in the South, Dutch to the West, Russians, Cossacks and Finns from the Tsardom in the North and Canada, French on the East coast and then you have the Midwest and it's jewel Michigan. Under colonization by people who's originally been on a mission from all of these different countries in an attempt among the great powers for control you need to decide what course you take.
Are you a colonial from one of these countries tackling the grip with trying to claim Michigan for your country, are you a colonial born native or perhaps an Amerindian? Maybe you're even an outlaw the course of history in the Americas will be decided by you. Because whoever manages to take Michigan, secures their position in the Midwest and by extension America.
The Rules
•No godmodding or metagaming
•OP's word is law, no exceptions
•The RP is centered in Michigan, RP in other states won't be allowed
•You can't start off in a powerful position with endless wealth
•Your character can easily die if they make stupid mistakes, if it happens don't whine make someone new, dead is dead
•You can RP the establishment of businesses or militias if you want to try and buy up or take land for yourself or your nation, just be aware the great powers may not look kindly on that
•There will be lots of hostility between whites and the Native Americans, there isn't going to be any whites apart of an Indian tribe in the start
•Much of Michigan is still uncolonized outside of a few important cities and smaller townships and counties it's your job to grow upon it and expand upon it economically and industrially.
•If you have a problem with another person telegram me or the mods, keep it out of OOC and IC, I don't want the thread to get shut down, or you get banned because you let your emotions get away with you.
