Also I think 26 is taken, it takes 6 minutes (minutes 3-8, not 3-7, on your current scheduled actions list) to recruit 3 followers, and the rover should come after arming your followers.

26 is, though there’s nothing wrong with landing nearby and migrating there. Or even landing there too, though you’ll miss out on the base core.

If you look very closely at a base like 29, you'll notice a white line connecting it to a white node.

I surmise that that is an air corridor - how does one use that? Only traversable by air-units? Are there passenger air-units I can build?

Traversable by air units and rockets. Not sure about passenger stuff though.

Perhaps add a Passenger Support Module?

Well... Theoretically the only two that are kind of close are me and Novas. Though I'm an aggressive( kind of) Dr.Moreu faction and Novas are zealous industrialist Texans.

My plan is to just use my ground forces as defenders and not go offensive until I get air power, so i can just obliterate people from the air

I doubt this is the case. But if someone has the officer, do they count as armed for the purposes of getting a rover or Terraforming unit?

And can someone feed a population and then send them for colonizing? That way they don’t starve before scavenging.

I believe population has to take a whole turn to colonize- I scavenged with other pops to feed the colonists.
