And they can't reproduce of their own accord, seeing as they're all male.

Needless to say, this is a problem that can only be rectified by the time-honored tradition of kidnapping or otherwise acquiring people to use as breeding stock.

It'll probably hurt later on, but for now, life is good.

Huh, well at least your not in my neighborhood. I have G, Plzen, and Novas so I won't survive on for very long.

Five hundred tasty irreplaceable unarmed followers sent through the alien infested wilderness. We may not have guns, but we can drown you under a wall of corpses.

Or use some as a distraction. Either way, they won't be irreplaceable for long (hopefully).

Should've grabbed the Human Genome instead of Oil Palms.

1. With Capitalism, is 1BP=1CG=1$ or is there a ratio between them?
2. Also, 'converting consumer goods' means when we use it as food right?
3. Not nessisarrly a flaw, but if you use Gothic Architecture, there is no reason to 'convert' conquered bases.
4. The Exploit Planet says you can have unlimited Coal Plants, but there is no limit stated to begin with.

Gothic architecture feels useless. Faith's negative is absolutely crippling in the late game, as is Feudal. Planned is objectively the best economy, since everyone goes in huge blocks anyway so it's basically +20% BP. I predict that Harmony is easily going to be the scarcest resource(G-Tech ended the game with like 100+ pop last time) so keep that in mind.

I’m actually debating Syndicalist, at least early on. You effective trade 1 Food for at least three Harmony at each base, usually more based on facilities.

Right, of course

Looks like the crater area is still deserted.

The crater? So to pick a territory with a resource I need 3 minutes? So for spot 32 I need 1 minute, but for 31 or 32 I need 3 minutes?

What is the area like? I must admit I can't figure out the geography bit (artic seems obvious, but jungle/no jungle confuses me ;p

Indeed. And territories with "double" resources require you to scan for five.

Terrain is fairly simple- if the base adjoins the water, it is Coast, unless in a purple or gray area. All bases in purple areas are Xenofungus. All bases in grey areas are Arctic. All bases not adjoining water but in the green are Jungle. All bases actually in the sea are... you guessed it, sea bases.

*shrug*

37 is hella far north. I'll only head that way once I start looking to get nuclear infrastructure online. They're both about equally far away, from my perspective, though 20 is more actual bases.

Aye, indeed. Though, just so you know, I'll likely be expanding north almost exclusively. I've geared my initial bonuses to make heavy use of Xenofungus bases, so they're my prime colonization targets.

In all honesty you'll probably have to talk to Plzen more than me about Site 11- he is just south-east, and probably looking to expand in a direction where I'm not, at least until he can scrape together a military.

Part I.
Faction Leader(s): Xueyue and Xueyun Jian
Faction Leader Appearance: Though they are twins, Xueyun is the elder and Xueyue is the younger.
Faction Leader Biography: The Jian twins were born into China's new aristocracy: those families that had grown rich during the reforms of the 21st century and successfully consolidated their power. As children, they led a sheltered life atop the glass towers of Greater Beijing, where their days were occupied by private schooling and idle play. At first, they were inseparable, like the snowy moon and clouds they had been named for. Family friends often joked that while Xueyun always threatened to overshadow her sister with her forceful and outgoing personality, Xueyue's inner strength always shone through. Like a pair of beautiful butterflies, they might have lived their lives in perfect bliss had reality not forced them apart. Tradition dictated that they marry, and Xueyue, as the eldest daughter of a family with no sons, take over the dynasty's company. They tearfully separated, each avoiding the specter of marriage in their own way - Xueyun bore the ire of their family and leveraged the influence of her new position to deny any potential suitors, while Xueyun departed to northern(er) China, where, with her sister's help, she set up an orphanage in a Taoist temple.

They passed into young adulthood separated by circumstance, until circumstance ironically brought them back together. By the time the Harmony was announced, both had grown sick of Earth: Xueyun had seen too much greed and Xueyun had felt too much suffering for either of them to believe in a glorious future for mankind on Earth. Thus, they joined the expedition to the stars, in the hopes of seeing a fresh start for themselves and for humanity.
Part II.
Faction Name: New Horizons
Faction Color: A nice soothing blue(#0000FF)
Faction Ideology: No more greed. No more suffering. All must achieve harmony.

One major reason I see for arming your followers on the Harmony, is to protect against any wild animals on the planet below, and for hunting for food.

Do you guy think Hark will be planning on attacking our bases with wildlife in the course of the RP?

In fact, thats the only way you can spend IP. You can't stockpile 30 IP and then suddenly decide to go capitalizt in a single turn.

Is there a particular reason why hydro plants aren’t allowed to be built on coastal areas without rivers?
