Technology mechanics are admittedly quite quirky...

Maybe I'll add 1 energy maintenance for the network node, so there is a minimal cost to tech transfer.

Network Link - 2BP, 1 RP, Information Networks - 1 energy per turn maintenance, +1 RP per turn. Allows your faction to exchange RP and technologies with any other Faction that also has a Network link built in one of their bases, max 1 tech transfer per Network Link per Turn!!!

Transfer as in send/receive? So you can only send or receive one tech a turn?

Hmm. Sadly it looks like there's only one Tier 2 tech I really want, at least immediately. Gotta get that Consumer Goods production running first.

Tier 2 Tech is still way off for me. Had to get Social Psych so my base wouldn't have revolted turn 6 (before we got that +3 Harmony buff), then Industrial Machines (for CG), now I have to get Information Networks, then that Geology Tech, then the +1 Food/Jungle Tech, then GAH!
The list is too long!!!!!
All under an Energy Crunch...

Edit: Also, just noticed Organic Chemistry is listed twice in the IC tech list.

Ok, so you need to go to the Prelude IC (link in OP) and choose what equipment you are going to land with. You have 20 minutes and each action takes time. I recommend NOT exploring because that is a can of worms that only G-Tech or Hark can deal with. One of the things you can do is choose a landing site, or you can get one randomness selected for you. I posted a list of taken sites earlier, but I'll copy it over soon.

Logistics made easier:

Freight Port - 2 BP - Can only be built on Coastal and Underwater Bases. Allows this base to SEND resources, goods and BP (but not Energy, RP and PP) to any other coastal base even those without freight ports.

Aerodrome - 3 BP, 2 CG, Exoplanet Aviation - Costs 1 Petrol and 1 energy per turn to operate. Max 1 per base. Provides +2 Harmony. Allows sending resources, weapons or population to any other friendly/neutral base on the planet (even those without aerodromes) in quantity no greater then 5 resources/population sent. Can be temporarily re-purposed to a military Airbase at no additional cost over the course of a turn.

Also finished up tier 3 techs mostly.

Yeah but it's one new unit per turn, right? And you can build one of those per base? Why not just temove upkeep from military units then...

Ah, no, I should clarify, its not per turn. If you lose the unit, you can build a new one though, so if you lose it every turn, then its one new unit every turn. You still have pay the BP cost of the weapons though...

Question, does items in the "Secure Packaged Food" and "Secure Power Cells" count as one for each, or many for their food and energy count?
