I will add tier 3 tech to allow spice harvesting.

It will be really valuable, and useable in multiple ways, to gain harmony, energy or research!

Luckily we didn’t need that spice anyway. It just would’ve been useful to juice up the researchers.

Can I propose that Renewable Energy Plants (REP) be reduced to 1 BP + 1 BP per built?
I mean, just looking at the facilities available, all of them need Energy, and the only non-location basedfacilities that produce energy efficiently are Fission Reactors and REP.
I mean Coal Plants are ok, but is not an efficient trade even with Exoplanet Geology. (Especially since there is apparently an unseen limit on them?)

I mean pre-Exoplanet Geology, they are a hindrance : 1 Worker for 2 Energy
You need to feed that worker, so +1 Forager, OR -1 Energy and +1 Worker
Now you are at -4 Harmony, so you need to boost it with Infirmary or Rec Commons (-1 Energy)
At best, you now have +1 Energy or +1Food for -2 Harmony

Hm. Well, right now Renewables are pretty balanced, in my opinion, at 2. The same price as an Industrial Plant they can run, buildable anywhere. The +1 per Renewable is harsh, but I suppose understandable given each Base now has infinite build space.

I was actually planning to make plantations more efficient by using no energy.

Sure, hydroponics don't need you to plow fields, manually water the crops and worry about bad weather, but you do have a pretty high upfront cost of building the equipment, and you also need to gather the right nutrients, which can be somewhat difficult in a toxic alien world.

Plantations make use of native plants, since the alien botanics tech identifies which part is edible.
