Likely disbanded, with the nobles taking up various empty seats or regaining their original lands.

So I should expect a whole bunch of random Mudds sitting around collecting welfare and taking all the good jobs?

The poll is glorious.

More Mudds ruling Darry or Saltpans since all the Darrys died and Lord Cox could easily have died.

Strong, Lothston, Tully, Mudd. There sure are a bunch of houses running around that have claims to House Baelish's new titles.

Darry or a restored Oldstones would probably be their preferred seat, given the past prominence of both citadels. Additionally, House Baelish would have favored appointing a less ambitious lord to the Saltpans. Corwyn especially wants to transform the eastern portions of the Riverlands into a pliable land ruled by obedient merchant-lords, given the power of the Flammen Freys and the Strongs further to the east. That said, Danaerys would likely have given the Saltpans to a steadfast supporter. The Mudds could fit the bill.

House Name: House Blacklocke of Blackreach
House Sigil:
House Words: "Death before dishonor!"
Allegiance Paid to: The Glovers of Deepwood Motte
House Seat: Blackreach (The deepest and darkest area in the Wofeswood.)
Approx Number of military at command: 1,888 (88 Household guards)
History of the House:
http://familyecho.com/?p=SZWPG&c=gaojkd ... 3478234336

House Blacklocke has existed as long as there has been a Blackreach for them to rule. Blackreach has only been constructed rather recently. Hardly more than sixty years ago Harkin Blacklocke, a skilled mercenary enlisted in the army of Rhaenyra Targaryen. During the The Dance of the Dragons, Harkin Blacklocke distinguished himself in many battles. After the assault on Harrenhal Blacklocke was given command of 100 men in charge of securing the smoldering ruins. During Battle of the Kingsroad Harkin Blacklocke fought side by side with Lord Benjicot Blackwood even personally slaying Lords Darry. However Blackwood took credit for the kill.

But even still Harkin was not forgotten. Shortly after the end of the war, when Aegon III Targaryen was crowned, he was compensated with lands in the north. He graciously accepted and House Blacklocke was born. The Blacklockes were rewarded with a small fortune of gold and lands. Blackreach Keep was quickly erected in year 190. Blackreach Is castle-fortress with many of the buildings having been constructed from a black stone base. Blackreach Keep is not particularly an engineering marvel on its own but it is by far one of the toughest in the north.

The history of Blacklockes founding and their clever marriage alliances has given them an advantage over other equal sized houses in the north and made them one of House Starks most loyal bannermen.

If I remember correctly House Lothston died out, though a member of the Golden Company claimed to be a descendant of theirs. A single man is simple enough to bury in the chaos of an apocalyptic war, though competing dynastic goals could divide would-be allies. The Mudds, Strongs, and Tullys though are more of a nuisance, especially given the truculence and ambition of the river lords to the west of Harrenhal. That said, the Tullys should be reasonably contained by the Lannisters so long as that alliance holds up. It's the multiple branches of House Mudd (possibly at Darry, Oldstones, and the Saltpans) and House Strong that'll give Lord Corwyn nightmares.

Don't worry M'Lord, you don't have to worry about us little Strongs, we wont cause you any trouble. Though if someone offered, we totally wouldn't be opposed to having Harrenhal back.

he married 4-5 women, a few were servant girls at first. then he married them when his old wife died. He also married his more endowed daughters. One wife was a wildling, one wife was valyrian and the rest were mostly women he happened to like.. that day. Harkin Blacklocke considerd himself a warlord and thought It was only fit to spread his strong blood. He lived to be 78.

On the Tyrell side of things, House Peake likely regained their other two castles of Whitegrove and Dunstonbury. We might have either Stricklands or Mandrakes in Brightwater Keep given Garlan's death and that the Florents were stripped of it, probably the latter given how Harry Strickland is very old and we never see any mention of a child of his.

You know, those Starks are causing quite a ruckus up in the North. As loyal supporters of the Iron Throne, we would be remiss in our duties if we allowed this sordid state of affairs to persist. While House Baelish has no stomach for violence and no great skill at arms, Strong is a house old in honor and valiant in war, with mighty heroes scattered throughout history. It's only logical that they should lead the charge against Moat Cailin. Those pesky swamp rats shouldn't be more than a small nuisance to the likes of the great Lord Brynden Strong. The Seven will deliver those blasphemers who worship trees into your hands with ease.

Time to help them build up their positions out of the goodness of my heart. New houses have got to stick together.

The rednecks of Westeros.

So does anyone want to have a character married to Ser Marten Baelish? He's thirty nine years old, has a warm personality, and three chins. Oh, and he's the heir to Harrenhal.

Ah, defiance.

Writes letters to Lord Flammen, Lord Mooton, Lord Fisher, Lord Cox, Lord Piper, a few branches of House Mudd, and others.

I suppose I'll put the Mudds in the front line. Two birds, one stone, and all that.

There's a speech for this from the books.

Yield.

That'll work. I spoke to the Vale role-player and he explained quite reasonably why House Baelish would not have been altogether popular in his lands. As such, I'm open to alternatives. It'd also build on the existing partnership we discussed.
