I'm interested. Reserving Germany.
Can I tweak the history just a little bit? Trying to have the monarchists take control of Germany and turn it back into the Deutsches Kaiserreich.

Your not bringing it back. That’s unrealistic. The heir to the thrown himself says he doesn’t want the monarchy back. Realism is a major part of this RP. If I won’t let Russia have a different party because it’s unrealistic that United Russia would loose I surely won’t let you bring back monarchists in a nation that’s anti-monarchy.

I just did some research on the topic and it's not as impossible as it seems. 1 in 5 Germans would support a restoration of the monarchy, that number jumps to 2-3 in 5 Germans when you look at the younger population(which will soon be voting) the second in line behind the top honcho openly supports the idea and provides reasons why it would be good, and there is an established political party advocating for a "federal democratic monarchy" in Germany.
In short, impossible, no, improbable, yes. But there is a chance.
And anything can happen given the right circumstances.

I really just want an easy way to claim and retake the lands Germany lost under previous governments. That won't happen unless Germany is under control of
A: Fascists(automatic not gonna happen, Germans wouldn't accept it and roleplaying as a fascist nation would leave give me a nasty feeling)
B: Monarchy. Which is a lot more likely.

Political Party: Liberal Democratic Party of Russia
Most important goals for nation: Reasserting Russian influence and economy
Bio:
Zhirinovsky was born to Volf Isaakovich Eidelshtein and Alexandra Pavlovna in Almaty, Khazakstan.

In July 1964, Zhirinovsky moved from Almaty to Moscow, where he began his studies in the Department of Turkish Studies, Institute of Asian and African Studies at Moscow State University (MSU), from which he graduated in 1969. Zhirinovsky then went into military service in Tbilisi during the early 1970s. He would later get a law degree and work at various posts in state committees and unions. He was awarded a Dr.Sci. in philosophy by MSU in 1998. Although he participated in some reformist groups, Zhirinovsky was largely inconsequential in Soviet political developments during the 1980s. While he contemplated a role in politics, a nomination attempt for a seat as a People's Deputy in 1989 was quickly abandoned.

In April 1991 Zhirinovsky, along with Vladimir Bogachev, took initiatives which led to the founding of the Liberal Democratic Party, the second registered party in the Soviet Union and therefore the first officially sanctioned opposition party. He would get major breakthroughs in popularity through the years and would gain a lot of attention and support during the collapsing Yeltsin administration. He would quickly succeed Yeltsin and become the second Russian president after the collapse of the USSR in 1991.

He now stands as current incumbent Russian President and is quickly looking to fully invest himself in external matters besides the economy after fixing up the country and it standards internally.

Well, there you go.

Also that party has IRL has 40 of 450 Duma seats. Any other leader would need to be from Putin's party. In most states another party could take power but Russia is a different case and realistically Putin's party would come out on top.

Wait, so, why would I have to make Putin get sick or whatever if I can't even pick another party? There's no point. I'd just stick with Putin, then, thank you. At least I tried.

I was saying if you wanted a new leader. It’s just hard to be a different party because of his cult of personality.

Position/Title: President of Russia
Political Party: A United Russia
Most important goals for nation: Reasserting Russian influence and economy
Bio:
Vladimir Putin was born in Leningrad in the Soviet Union. He studied law at the Saint Petersburg State University, graduating in 1975. Putin was a KGB foreign intelligence officer for 16 years, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring in 1991 to enter politics in Saint Petersburg. He moved to Moscow in 1996 and joined President Boris Yeltsin's administration, rising quickly through the ranks and becoming Acting President on 31 December 1999, when Yeltsin resigned. Putin won the subsequent 2000 presidential election by a 53% to 30% margin, thus avoiding a runoff with his Communist Party of the Russian Federation opponent, Gennady Zyuganov. He was re-elected President in 2004 with 72% of the vote.

During Vladimir Putin's first presidency, the Russian economy grew for eight straight years, and GDP measured in purchasing power increased by 72%. The growth was a result of the 2000s commodities boom, high oil prices, and prudent economic and fiscal policies. Because of constitutionally mandated term limits, Putin was ineligible to run for a third consecutive presidential term in 2008. The 2008 presidential election was won by Dmitry Medvedev, who appointed Putin Prime Minister, what some opponents considered the beginning of a period of "tandemocracy". In September 2011, after presidential terms were extended from four to six years, Putin announced he would seek a third term as president. He won the March 2012 presidential election with 64% of the vote, a result which aligned with pre-election polling. Falling oil prices coupled with international sanctions imposed at the beginning of 2014 after Russia's annexation of Crimea and military intervention in Eastern Ukraine led to GDP shrinking by 3.7% in 2015, though the Russian economy rebounded in 2016 with 0.3% GDP growth and is officially out of the recession. On 6 December 2017, he announced his intention to run for a fourth term. The election will be held in March 2018, with a term until 2024.

Under Putin's leadership, Russia has scored poorly in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index and experienced democratic backsliding according to both the Economist Intelligence Unit's Democracy Index and Freedom House's Freedom in the World index. Experts no longer consider Russia a democracy. Putin has enjoyed high domestic approval ratings during his career (mostly higher than 70%) and received extensive international attention as one of the world's most powerful leaders.
