Rightwing islamists aren't the majority of Pakistan's population, Bhutto was popular with most of the electorate during her term in office. In recent years women have had increased involvement in politics, with many being elected into the National Assembly.

No they aren’t the majority, but the number of laws restrictions and cultural practices prevalent in Pakistan today, many of which were instituted after her presidency are a huge detriment to women. Look I’ll accept a women in power in Pakistan in the RP but then we need to have a talk about what “realism@ means

Can the Russia player reform the USSR or is that to unrealistic for this RP?

I said no because there has only been Putin and his party since basically the start of democratic Russia. Yelstin doesn’t count. He was a drunk fool.

Putin's controversial presidency and the actually fair popularity of the party (and it could be even more popular should I start to lax back on its current standpoints) as well as the fact that the party is now one of the major ones of the current election (See Here) gives it a real chance to be abel to go succesfully against Putin, as well as the fact the United Russia party had fared with little support during the Russian economic crisis, I thought I'd really be able to change my party. Looks like not.

But, that arguments over. I don't care anymore.

I'm Russia. And yes, I think that's very unrealistic. As Chewie said before, even another party is ruled out. The communists have too little support for that to happen. Plus, I don't even want to reform the USSR, so...

One question: IRL, the nation I want to be (The Rep. Of Ireland) doesn't have nukes. Can I add nukes to the armed forces' armoury?

Something like that would have to be a long term plan

You are aware that the "islamization laws" passed before Bhutto's term were unconstitutional, right? Pakistan's Constitution of 1973 (the current one), has articles protecting women's rights....however the subsequent military governments enforced misogynistic laws that aren't in line with the customs of the people.

He's a member of a different party, so Chewie said that wouldn't work. Maybe I'll be able to do it anyway if I can change his mind.
New Doltania wrote:One question: IRL, the nation I want to be (The Rep. Of Ireland) doesn't have nukes. Can I add nukes to the armed forces' armoury?

Umm, no offense, but, I personally think that's ludicrous. Ireland would in no way be able to have that technology let alone produce it or be able to conduct such a program.

VERY LONG term plan even if I got past the fact that literally no one would tolerate that. Plus, I don't want to reform the USSR anyway.

Like I said. Also just because he’s from Putin’s party doesn’t mean he has to have the exact same vision. So long as it isn’t radically different like full blown communist government.

No thank you. I tried to make a new leader. I understood why you denied the leader. I'm done making any new leader or policy or whatever.

He was 41 but I felt adventurous. I’m debating it but I think it’ll be cool to have a young guy as President.
