Mm, well, it isn’t inconceivable that Ego might suspect this was a false flag. After all, as far as they know, none of their units launched the attack. Their ability to gather meaningful evidence to that extent may be limited, however, alongside their ability to get anyone in the Imperium to listen.

I can edit to say that there were no renagdes in our army, but feared tbe Imperium's march anyway and decied to invade Blue Lagoon on a path pf vengance/force him to tell the truth.

Well at least I'm not on it. Though there's still the Nubian Crisis but there strong people that can provide war support when trained professionally. Maybe I will be able to have an allied army to power checo the Imperium in the Dark Realm and Nubia, maybe.

Plenty of factors to consider. What kind of belief system do the people you plan to convert have? Is it tied to the land and nature? Is it tied to a heavenly pantheon of anthropomorphic beings? Does it revolve around more philosopical, non-anthropomorphic concepts of "heaven," "spirits," etc? Does their said belief system decentralized or organized?

And then you'd have to ask yourself what your belief system is. Is it radically different (and therefore harder to grasp) from what they believe? And how would you go about converting people? Slow and gradual introduction of beliefs? Large sweeping "miracles?" Catastropic changes in their society (war, famine, etc.)?

All rhetorical questions of course, you don't have to answer to me. G's word is the one you need.

Muskets- the Imperium doesn't make use of them, and wouldn't have designs for them. Breechloading rifles are the standard equipment of an Imperial soldier within the Armies, but I doubt Blue Lagoon has had enough time to manufacture those indigenously in the timeframe since fealty.

The population of your Outpost- North America is still quite unpopulated, including Ego and Blue Lagoon. I would guesstimate, offhand, that Blue Lagoon's population isn't much over seventy-one hundred thousand people. This Outpost would be very large to have five thousand inhabitants.

That point is also related to my last observation, the dozens of galleys. If you're talking about ships propelled by oars, two or three dozen galleys of decent size would require literally thousands of rowers. That's not really a population drain that Blue Lagoon can afford, especially not in one particular region of her domain. There might be that number of ships across all of Blue Lagoon, but I doubt all the river traffic of the governate has been earmarked for this river crossing.
