You know, NS actually has a very convenient system for saving your unfinished posts that doesn't require posting them and editing them later. All you have to do is click the "Save draft" button to the left of the Submit and Previous buttons, then you have a nice copy made for you. Your drafts can then be viewed in the Control Panel (found just to the left of the "View your posts button") under the "Manage drafts" tab. Alternatively, saved drafts can be accessed simply by going back the thread, opening up the post window, and then a button labeled "Load draft" will appear next to the "Save draft" button, that will automatically load the draft you made for that thread.

Alternatively, you can just copy and paste your draft into a Notepad file which you can open up later to continue working on.

Saving your work without posting it is so easy, and yet so many people decide to post their unfinished writing instead of saving it and waiting until they can post the finished product. Maybe it's not a huge deal, but it does, nonetheless, create unnecessary clutter. Same with tag posts; you can bookmark topics by using the button at the bottom of the thread, which makes a tag post totally unnecessary.

It's as simple as the OP writing something along the lines of "Don't be a knobhead" somewhere in the OP, say under a spoiler tag named "RULES" and then telling the offender to leave in no uncertain terms. Things tend to het needlessly escalated after that if the offender doesn't comply.

And of course, such an opportunity came along in the form of a large trade caravan heading west to the Mojave, and they were looking for a doctor to go along. Nathan didn't pass up such luck, or such he thought. The journey was long but rather uneventful. The most danger on the road to the Mojave lay not in the journey itself, but in the destination.

Nathan was eager to make his fortune in the famed casinos on the strip, only to discover that he couldn't get in. He didn't have enough caps to even get past the gateguards. He took out his frustration in the only casino available, the Atomic Wrangler. It was there that he discovered an ugly truth, that his father hadn't gotten the hero's death that Nathan had imagined. He had died during the Battle of the Dam, but he wasn't there. He was wasting the last of his combat pay at Gamorrah's drinking, whoring, and gambling. His debts had become so large and he refused to pay, so the Omertas made him disappear. Violently.

The next year was a blur, mostly due to the Legion and NCR rekindling their old conflict over the Dam. That's to mention nothing of the Courier. Nathan made the first intelligent decision in a long time and left the Mojave, first going north into the old world area of Utah where he studied with various tribals, at least the ones who weren't actively trying to kill him. They taught him how to make healing powder, and he refined their ideas and improved them as well he could.

He kept traveling, never staying in one place more than a few months at a time. He started to garner a bit of a reputation among the people of the Northwest, becoming known as the Doctor you'd go to if you couldn't afford to go anywhere else. He rarely asked for much, and never asked for money. He had little need of it in his nomadic lifestyle. Food, water, medical supplies, and other such practical things were asked for in exchange for his services. He kept this up for many years before eventually getting caught into a mass exodus of other vagrants that fled the NCR. Nathan had no hard feelings towards the NCR at all, but had no desire to settle down and pay his taxes either.

Biography:

The desperate tactics lasted only a few years longer before his parents both passed on; His mother dying of an overdose while his father was gunned down by his latest dealer in a scam gone wrong. Fearing for his own life and with looters already looking to rifle through his family’s belongings, Lucky fled his home and stowed away on a caravan to New Vegas.

Without any knowledge of the Mojave, Lucky quickly ended up indoctrinated into the Fiends ranks, coerced by the promise of drugs and lies about safety that controlled most of his life so far. Too small to be sent out on raids at first, he ended up taken in as a mascot of the Fiends, fed drugs to keep him docile and passed around between different Fiends when the previous raider claiming to ‘own’ the mascot inevitably died of overdosing or NCR gunfire.

Lucky continued a life of drug use and, in his later Fiend years, raids against Freesiders until the war over New Vegas and Hoover Dam grew more violent. After a particularly brutal skirmish killed off many of the remaining Fiends he called friends, Lucky once again developed fears for his own life. He eventually decided to break ties with the Fiends, scrounging a stash of supplies together and carving a path back west.
Not wanting to return to his hometown, Lucky soon turned north, scrounging from ruins and settlements along the way without much idea of what he was heading towards, only that he longed for something beyond his next fix.
