Well, The OP has control of Earth, and there are 2 other human factions, beside Earth/Sol.

NS Name: Higher Japan
Nation Name: The Katural Ascendancy
Flag: https://tinyurl.com/y6vff47p
Capital: Impelis, Seraph Prime

population size: 954,394,820,121
Primary species:
-Ki'ta's: An alien species that makes up the main part of the Katural ascendancy. They cannot breath in oxygen for it is toxic to them, and as such are commonly seen in metallic suits everywhere, even on inhabitable planets with the comfort that the suits offer. They work mainly behind the military as politicians and workers and are known for being highly cultured beings that are mainly pacifistic. But in recent times have joined the crusade against humanity.
Image

-Katunians: The second largest alien population of the ascendancy, they are a race of highly militarized and fanatical alien beings, that are the main species of the military of the ascendancy. Unlike the Ki'ta, they are able to breath in almost any type of air and move freely in battle. They are the direct enemy of the Artanians, a pacifistic race within the ascendancy but due to their divine positions, they can only scorn at them.
Image

-Artanians: Out of all the alien species found within the nation, the Artanians resemble humans the most in terms of appearance, although they wear opaque masks and have cylinder looking legs. They're known for being the majority species of the religious orders and hold high positions, with their grip on the very religion the Katunians hold dear they are known as some of the most lucrative targets for pirates to capture and hold ransom. They're primarily pacifistic, but were once a warrior type species.
Nation History:
The first known beginning of the ascendancy according to the archives first began on the planet which would now be their capital. The planet was known as Seraph Prime, where various species of different tribes lived together in peace until war broke out, throwing everyone into the fight for a good few centuries. At the end, the Artanians and Ki'ta survived as they hid out, spending their time researching their technology rather than participating in brutish war. In the aftermath, both species decided that working together in unity would assist in development, thus uniting together to form the new nation of Katural.

During the time of unity, there was a lot of civil unrest which in the end was suppressed when the two races brought the Katunian race in to help in keeping peace, mainly through light force. In the end, the three species decided to unite together with the brains of the Ki'ta race, the might of the Katunians and the religious leading of the Artanians which gave them a boost of morale. Soon, the nation of Katural would be near unstoppable as they annexed the planet and integrated the various races of aliens back into the nation, increasing the population as they were all united under one single religion.

When the Ki'ta came up with FTL systems, there was widespread disagreements on how it should be used, with the Katunians wanting it for war while the other two species wanted it to engage in first contact peacefully. In the end, a compromise was made where warships would be sent, on the condition that their weapons are only powered up when needed. The next era would be an era of peace, with Katural expanding in all areas before they eventually reached their peak of over a trillion citizens. This would come down however, with a brutal attack from a genocidal species, which to this day have not been identified, causing large casualties and severe damage to infrastructure and research.

With this war, the Katunians have managed to enforce their point of cleansing this universe through a mighty crusade. Now set on a path to cleanse the universe of any filth, the Ki'ta and Artanians under the false belief that it is according to their religion and is the fate of the galaxy. Now,the Katural Ascendancy prepares for war as it has found it's next target to strike.

Tagging with interest, will have something up for review tomorrow.
When we lose one we love, our bitterest tears are called forth by the memory of hours when we loved not enough. - Maurice Maeterlinck

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. - Washington Irving

It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. This is how the whole scheme of things works. All good things are difficult to achieve; and bad things are very easy to get. - Confucius

NS Name: Sertia

Nation Name: The Selica Pantheon

Flag:
https://orig00.deviantart.net/604b/f/2015/069/2/2/thomassie_mangiok_s_nunavik_flag_by_aliensquid-d8l6hit.png

Capital: The Throne world of Selica, the planet having been converted into a glorious temple for the ‘Gods’ to meet and confer to determine the path the Selica Pantheon and those under its rule shall take.

Selica Snap Shot:
https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/fairytailfanon/images/5/51/Cetus_City.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20131005011928

population size: 200 Billion

Primary species: The Primary species of the Selica pantheon are the Selicaya themselves, an aquatic species that trace their origin to Coleoidea, or soft bodied Cephalopods. They evolved in a highly chaotic environment, evolutionary wise, and were caught in several layers of evolutionary arms races caused by the chaotic nature of the great seas that covered over 90% of their world and the horrid monsters that inhabited it.

Selicaya Appearance:
https://i.pinimg.com/originals/67/d5/f4/67d5f468af63de3e377c1fcf1e3c0c1a.jpg

Eventually, they mastered the biological, pushing Biological manipulation as far as they could until they ascended beyond the threat of their homeworld, and pushed to the stars in order to spread their dominion, the scientists who had led to the mastery of their biological forms leading as the New Gods of Selicaya.

Secondary Race: The araket are the second species of note of the Selica Pantheon, and the only one officially respected and treated as equals to the Selicaya themselves. Born on a Desert world known as Ara Ka Deku, where sand storms of obsidian glass would tear apart anything caught within and the sun set fire to anything but the hardiest of plant matter. When first encountered, the Selicaya first observed and then uplifted the Araket, using them as first test subjects to further push their biological sciences, but then as workers to help build their empire. Many generations passed, and many more races were conquered and put to work, before the Araket themselves produced a god through mastery of the biological sciences.

After proving himself to the pantheon, they were accepted and recognized as a true god, and thus the Araket became equals to the Selicaya.

Araket Appearance:
https://i.pinimg.com/564x/fc/51/f3/fc51f34b0e24e213a91d17f99bb8c3cb.jpg

Tertiary races: Around a dozen other minor races exist within the Pantheons territory, and all are merely workers and second-class citizens to Selicaya and Areket. They are kept pacified thanks to a combination of the Pantheon’s overwhelming technological superiority, as well as they Promise that should they produce a god of their own, and that god prove themselves worthy, they would become equals to the Selicaya like the Araket did.

Nation History:
The Selica Pantheon began with the rise of the new gods, a group of scientists who, through their mastery of genetic and biological manipulation, not only improved their physical forms to great and monstrous levels, but created armies of genetically altered warriors to conquer the world for their own. This War of Ascension wiped away much of pre-Pantheon history, all that remains being the tidbits specifically chosen or altered by the New gods. With the world conquered, and then rebuilt as they desired, the Pantheon set their eyes to the stars above and the treasures they deemed as theirs by right of godhood.

Taking select Selicaya from the population who possessed the perfect genetic traits necessary, they warped and twisted these individuals into the first Starships over the course of a century of research and testing. These starships of sinew and bone, known as the Pantheons Angels, broke from the terrestrial chains of their world, and set to work conquering the planets of their home system, the Colonists being genetically altered to live on these worlds instead of terraforming the worlds unless necessary.
It would take the Pantheon another one thousand years to finally devise a method of warp travel through biological manipulation, as their society, being aquatic in nature, were left completely unable to develop synthetic technology like non-aquatic species.

When this was accomplished, by a common Selicaya citizen, the gods rejoiced and welcomed this scientists into their ranks, granting him a form befitting his intellect and granting the title of God. With the ability to bypass the laws of light and with a new god in their ranks, the Selica Pantheon expanded, conquering races to serve them.

Eventually one of these races, the Araket, produced a god of their own. In a stunning display of power, where the gods fought this new god, the Pantheon recognized this new God as kin and welcomed them and their species as siblings to the Selicaya and the new gods. With this, the third age began, and the Selica Pantheon finally entered the galactic scene by making first contact with the other races, races who arguably had equivalent and in some cases, superior technology to them.

Miltary size:

10,000 Selicaya (Officers, refered to as “Demigods” due to their mastery of biological manipulation. They control armies of vat born biologically manipulated warriors and biological monsters to act as armor and aircraft.)

5 Billion Areket (Mix of soldiers and officers, some of which field armies like Selicya Demigods and are recognized as demigods. However, these are rare due to the Araket having a culture whose technology developed normally relative to other species)

Military Tech: Almost entirely Biological manipulation, with some cybernetics that arose thanks to the Araket’s aide.

Individual Fleet commanders and other Demigods have a lot of leeway with how their forces are composed and perform, and it is common for fleets to duel one another to determine whose biological designs are more effective. So the Selica Pantheon is hard to predict when it comes to force composition, as it tends to change and adapt. However, this leaves their forces largely uncoordinated in terms of composition and in fighting, when can be exploited to get past the terrifying monsters that seem to adapt as the battle goes on. Without the Demigods to lead and change the army, the forces can be quickly wiped out.

Araket forces are more conventional and less prone to infighting, leading to Araket demigods following a predictable pattern of creating forces that support and reinforce the weaknesses of Araket military forces.

Standard Weaponry:
Selicaya: Plasma, corrosive acids, and similar things that can be accomplished through biological means.

Araket: Kinetic weapons, with Lasers being their heavy weaponry.

Soldier appearance:

Standard Ship Appearance: Selica Ships are all Biological shps that appear reminiscent of Aquatic life, commonly features an enlarged Selicaya upper body resting in a reclined position as part of the ships design, for both aesthetic reasons and to allow the Selicya to maintain their identity and physically attack nearby ships. In the back of the ships, many tendrils with sharp talon like spikes trail behind it, moving to gather energy released from the ship to release it in a burst to push the ship with quick burst sof speed that can be controlled thanks to the dexterous nature of the tendrils.

The hull of the ship is covered in thick chitin like armor that is incredibly thick and tough, designed by the gods themselves to protect the ship from the harshness of space and combat.

Basically the Stellaris storyline. The original prototypes of FTL engines are tested (perhaps during a time of strife or fear of the annihilation of earth due to nuclear fire or ecological disaster). The ships perform the first long range ftl jump some 2 or 3 centuries ago. Those ships are never heard from again and any attempt at communication fails.

That is the easy and less conflicting way of doing it.

So, with reading your application, a more cooperative way (coordinating a story) would be me being a collection of more authoritarian minded colonies, IE empire VS republic mentality if one would compare it to star wars.
Perhaps a series of colonies disliking the way the war with the Tagali Empire ended and moved for independence?

WIP Application

NS Name: Spindle

Nation Name: The Star Kingdom of Spindle

Image

Capital: Puriel

Population Size: 38,058,811,986

Primary Species: Dearyn: Deayn are a heavily social race of insectile, highly polymorphic aliens with a complex carbon-based, metal-stranded biology. While not evidenced so much for themselves, the Dearyn biosphere - in ages past, at least - was capable of supporting gargantuan creatures. The most common Dearyn form - the Worker - is around two and a half metres tall, supported by a linked internal and external skeleton criss-crossed with muscle fibres. Evolved near the bottom of the food chain Deayn are primarily herbivorous, with grinding mouthparts to strip away the metallic bark of the once-prevalent trees and reveal the glassy interior tubules.

Dearyn have three main genders: females, primarily Lecet and Queens, Matrons, who are considered their own caste, and Males, which make up every other morph. Females lay eggs in communal fertilisation spaces, which men then fertilise.

While a Dearyn is unlikely to change morph throughout their lives, it is an increasingly common occurrence as the species as a whole continues to come to grips with the extent of modern technology.

Nation History:

Military Size: 17,503,858

Military Tech:

Soldier Appearance:
Spindlean Legionnaires are the primary offensive unit of the Star Kingdom: assigned to the Navy, they are the ones who are supposed to fight its wars on the planets across the galaxy at large. Because of this they are the second-lightest infantry unit the Star Kingdom has to offer, primarily in terms of pure mass and logistical dependance. Which isn't to say that they are pushovers by any means - rather, that they are meant to stay as far away from protracted fights as is physically possible. Intended to strike fast and hard before disengaging and disappearing, Legionnaires are intended as rapid-strike platforms; not tanks.

In order to better serve in this role, Legionnaires have their brains implanted into Oversuits upon their induction and remain implanted within them until they are removed from duty. This is part of the reason why Legionnaires are so much smaller and more mass-efficient than their counterparts in the Army, and also why they can endure so much more physical punishment: short of a direct hit on the suspended brain there is very little most small-arms fire can do to hinder a Legionnaire, and Spectre fields help them to hide from heavier weapons.

In return Legionnaires mount a plethora of weaponry themselves. Most use a G/G-199 integrated projectile weapons system as their primary sidearm: the former being the most common. A primarily kinetic system, the G/G uses a combination of electromagnets and internal gravitics to launch self-assembling kinetic ammunition, capable of modifying itself mid-flight to adjust flight path, evade countermeasures or simply fire shots larger than the gun itself. Less common armaments include the P/L-209, a laser/particle beam weapon made for mobile point defence and anti-air and the E/I-183, a solid-slug railgun meant for breaking open shielded targets with weight of fire.

On top of the direct weapons, all Legionnaires have both gravitics and plasma screens. Gravitics are used for fine-manipulation telekinesis, as well as minor flight adjustments and interception of incoming projectiles, but their use in offensive tactics is not uncommon: the "nova bomb" is the primary example of this, where gravitics are used to tear away armour in preparation for a killshot from another Legionnaire. Plasma screens, on the other hand, are used for providing thrust, protecting Legionnaires from kinetic and charged beam attacks and creating short-ranged bursts of searing heat.

In addition to the physical battlefield, Legionnaires fight in the virtual world as well. Decoy drones, ECM and ECCM suites and cyberwarfare links to Station Cyraell's distributed computing networks. A common tactic is to burst-fire nanites onto enemy positions, create micro-scale EM emitters and then either hack directly into enemy systems - relying on sheer number of access points and the brute force they have available - or else disrupt enemy communications with continuous bursts of electromagnetic energy. While other, more direct, uses of nanites are possible, their use in cyberwarefare is a Legion favourite.

Between all of this, a single Legionnaire is a formidable fighting force. With QE communications between every member of a fighting force, Legionnaires become exponentially more dangerous with numbers. Able to share sensor data and communicate near-instantly, Legionnaires have been trained rigorously to best capitalise on this advantage:
while some enemies can have their chain of command disrupted by attrition, precise strikes or ECM, the Legions have no such weakness. In every battlespace they are fluid,
adapting to every threat as they arrive and dominating every aspect possible. Though they number less than three hundred thousand, they are easily one of the foremost combat units in the galaxy.

Standard Ship Appearance:
Image

The Cyrynth-class Heavy Cruiser is the workhorse of the Fleet, meant to function as a patrol craft in groups of six or an escort craft in groups of four. Equal parts carrier, point defence and anti-warship, the Cyrynth demonstrates Spindle's dedication to technological superiority in all areas of war, as well as the "layered supremacy" doctrine which characterises their warship design. As such, the battlespace surrounding it can be divided into layers of threat, or zones of control, which illustrate the Cruiser's ability to influence the actions of those around it.

The outermost layer is considered to be the entire solar system the Cyrynth is in. Here, the Cruiser is capable of launching missiles to to harass enemy ships or wolf-pack stragglers. While potentially devastating if used correctly, a Cyrynth lacks much of the throw weight of older vessels - only boasting a sixty-missile salvo. As such,
the Cruiser can only really overwhelm smaller targets, or those bare of point defences, within this layer. The second layer, however, ranging from thirty to three light-seconds from the Cruiser, are the domain of the Cyrynth's complement of small craft.

The Cyrynth has sixty Rapier Interceptors, in addition to twenty-four Falachion Multirole Exosuits and six Claymore Heavy Exosuits. Between these, the Cyrynth has the ability to project firepower against small craft, missiles and other warships without endangering itself to any direct response. With the inclusion of anti-warship or anti-fighter missiles in this layer, the threat presented by a Cyrynth leaps dramatically. Coordinated properly against a foe without heavy point defence, a Cyrynth can tear apart entire squadrons of smaller ships before even reaching engagement range proper.

From three to half a light second, the Cyrynth's main batteries are within effective range. These are made up of twenty-four particle beam cannon - capable of firing nucleii, protons, neutrons and electrons, depending on range - and eighteen railguns, firing self-assembling ammunition in the same vein as the G/G-199 used by the Legions. Between these the Cyrynth has access to a broad range of firepower types in traditional engagements, and can engage anything from escort squadrons to capital ships with a reasonable degree of confidence.

Half a light second and shorter is where defensive systems become offensive systems. Plasma screens, point defence networks and gravitic shielding all work by destroying incoming attacks - either through heat, kinetic energy or gravitic shear forces - and at close ranges, they can work as effectively against warships as they do against missiles and small craft. At this kind of knife-fight range, the Cyrynth is less comfortable than it is a greater distances - it is intended for mid-long range combat and its weapons and loadout are optimised for this longer-ranged combat.

I got a third RPG I was rooting for dropping an IC soon, 4 active roleplays at a time is a bit much for me, so I fear I won't be able to give this RP the time it deserves.

I wish you guys all the best! Have fun

This nation a funsion between capitalism and social democracy (the only type of socialism made to actually be incorporated into capitalist governments rather than trying to destroy it).

This nation is PMT/FT. Sometimes modern tech.

We sometimes use pokemorphs and digimon in our armed forces. Sometimes

We are technically centrist.

This nation is a reunited Yugoslavia (and also sometimes controls the UK as well).

Darksworth, could you lower your military population, it is way over the limit. With that and perhaps fleshing out the history a bit more, you'll be accepted.

@Kraicia, since you'll be starting a farther from everyone else, I have something that could bring you into the fold a bit quicker. I'll TG you the details
.
Edited;

(Hopefully) Fixed the military pop. count and added more details in the "History" section.

So, though the app is nice, I like seeing races that do not confirm to the norm, but, the major prolem is your numbers. The Enslaved races would still count towards your total population, which cannot exceed 1 Trillion.

Likewise your Military, is limited to 3% of your total population, which would be a few tens of billions, not over a trillion as you currently have it. Additionally, though your the main species does not take a major role in combat, you should still probably detail their troops a bit. Also, perhaps, specify what of your Space ships equate to which class/role/type of ship.

I think what was wanted, for your history, was just more details. Originally it read a bit like a flavor-texty summary, rather than the history that was wanted, it is certainly better now.

I am not the OP, or a Co-OP, but what i said, should be ok to take into account.

Biomanipulation seemed like the best route to take for an aquatic race

I wanted to make a Insectoid race, that was not a swarm race or an evil hivemind, the NAh'ni were the result, and they have evolved a bit over their usage.
