The coach dedicated the pair's names into his memory. From what he gauged, both of them looked quite capable. Bael looked as if he took very good care of himself, even if he sounded a little nervous about being here. He'd seen it happen to plenty of people. Sina seemed quite a bit more confident in her ability, even going as far to ask if they were going to be up against legitimate professionals. He didn't know what made her think that she was that good at it, but he had to admit that if nothing else, she had spirit. "You won't be going up against professionals, no. That would be unfair to you and everyone else. If you do well here, you might be selected to go see if you get the chance to become a professional."
Bael looked a little more relieved. He looked to be in good shape, but maybe he's never raced with others before. Sina seemed disappointed, which made him more interested. She clearly had confidence in her skill, but he'd never seen her before. Was she one of those who came to the city after it had erupted? "We'll be starting soon. Since you two seem new, let me go over the rules." He said, leading them outside. Showing the "course" which looked more like an obstacle course that took place mid air rather than a simple race track. Several obstacles included some rings that looked just big enough for two, maybe three to fly through at one time. Some barriers placed in such a way to force you to have to weave between them placed in a oval shape around the arena.
"This isn't not a contact sport. Obviously bumping into each other can and will happen, but don't do it intentionally. You're to try to get through all of obstacles without crashing into them. Don't worry if you smack into one, there's plenty of runes that will keep you from falling to your death. Though it'll put you out of the race. Stay on the course, you're supposed to go through the obstacles, not around them. Three laps. First three win a little bit of money. Any questions? If not, feel free to go stretch or warm up." He motioned.
"Not from me." Bael replied and looked around as he made his way out. There were others who were stretching out their wings and practicing their launching. He had to admit that as fun as it looked, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to do the obstacles that well. He was fast, maybe even a little more so than Sina, but she had so much more control than he did.

So far the fight seemed to progress fine. He'd gotten a solid blow or two in and so had Casimir, though he was caught completely off guard when Casimir shot what looked and he hoped to be spider web. Which stuck to his shoulder, the bug hero using that leverage to fling himself and smash his knee into Wyatt's nose. It didn't feel like anything broke, but It definitely hurt.
Wyatt staggered back, hand gripping his snout where a little blood trickled. He was trying to avoid doing anything that would draw blood since they did have several days of fighting pro heroes ahead of them. He could just concede and be done with it. Conserve his strength, but for the first time in a while, he didn't listen to his common sense and his ego had already taken over. He wanted to win this fight.
His hands gained the familiar yellow glow. Several large stones that had surrounded the pair as they fought, all shot towards Casimir, more intending to restrain him by burying him than actually bludgeon him. It took every fiber of his being to avoid making a rock pun.
