I do have one in the pipeline I am planning to call 'The Darkness' (No not that 'the Darkness') who is definitely on the heroic end of the spectrum who might help to balance the scales, plus, without giving too much away there will be a strong reason for the heroes and villains to work together, at least temporarily...

EDIT: Unless I'm counting wrong, we're just over half heroes.

My female police officer is a hero, for one. But she's more on the line of law and absolute justice...

Now I have to start from scratch. It's so frustrating.

My IC post, if I can remember what it originally was before I accidentally deleted it, will be up tomorrow; that, or a new/different version will.

Roleplay needs more less-superpowers-more-genius-and-technologically-advanced villain.

Character Description
    Name: Otto DiMaglio.
    Aliases: Jigsaw.
    Gender: Male.
    Age: 36.
    Apperance:
    Image

Motivations
Goals: To make a name for himself as a criminal mastermind.
Fears: Arachnophobic. Would shoot anything with a spider on it.

Strengths and Weaknesses
    Powers : None.
Abilities: A criminal mastermind with genius-level of intellect. Jigsaw owns an arsenal of weapons and high-tech devices.
Equipment: Too much stuff to list, but his signature weapons are the FN F2000 and the USP Elite.
Weaknesses: (Suggestions? Can't think of any since he doesn't have superpowers.)

Background:
General: Otis started off his career in the criminal underworld since he was a teenager. He was involved in a crime organization due to his Italian-American's father's connections with many mobsters and crime families. His love for puzzles and anything that said "electronics" was a unique trait, one that he cherished the most. He lost his father to a rival crew of mobsters after a brief shootout, to his dismay. He devised a plan and gathered some of his father's friends and partners to exact revenge on the rival crew members. Him and his father's accomplices lured them into a trap and executed the plan successfully, and they later disposed of the bodies.

This led to an even larger conflict, an all-out war between two criminal organizations. Shootouts homicides spread like wildfire across the neighborhood. Either side seemed to be aware of what their rival's plans were, and always intercepted each other. The war reached its climax when both sides retained heavy casualties. There were approximately eighteen cases of murder in only eight months, with casualties from both sides. The war came to an end when the bosses met up and decided to let the past be the past, but suddenly their meeting place was blown up, killing both of them and the men that they brought. Otis could only grin when it happened. He was the man behind the curtains. It all started when he leaked information of his father's location to his rival members that led to his murder. With the bosses and most of their men gone, Otis was able to swoop in and take hold of whatever wealth, drugs, and weapons that they had.

His name Jigsaw came from the puzzle pieces that he always left in a crime scene, an odd hobby of his.
    Stressor: The pleasure of crime.

Ok, so I think Blasterman is going to see the news report about people with superpowers and seek to find them out. That sounds like something he would do to try to get involved and learn about himself. He's shied away from seeking out Blur, because first he doesn't think he'll be able to, and second, he's heard of her robberies and wants to distance himself away from people who will steal from him.

As for the storyline regarding Icelord, I have plans to introduce an NPC higher-up character in the world of politics. As well as a press conference from the mayor addressing the tensions with the super people, if that's ok, OP.

I'm not suggesting anyone should edit any IC posts, they are all great posts and I wouldn't want you to change them, but please remember the one little bit of cannon from the first (OOC) post:

You have just gained your powers and the general public think of you as something from a comic book; nobody considers you might be real yet.

No, not at all, I just wanted to remind people as it's sort-of important in the way the police and public will respond to your characters. They will still be amazed and incredulous like they usually are in a superhero's origin story.

It was a good one, too.

I may have Blasterman interact. But it won't be full hero mode trying to stop the badguy. He's really new at this and hasn't been put into a situation where he'd actually have to use his powers to save the day.

Ok. Let me think how we can do this. And what - if anything - Blasterman will feel like doing.

Btw, I'm thinking Alonso is going to get his super name due to some blogger who sees him in action and nicknames him. It might be at this encounter.

Sorry I haven't gotten my first post up yet, I got sick right before Roman got accepted and haven't been able to do much of anything.
I believe that madness can find more madness, and that every ounce of madness has a spark of truth. And truth, as you know, has a way of depressing people who don't want to find it.

No one is 100% honest... We all keep 20% of the truth from the world, to protect ourselves & sometimes others.

So, I have begun this genetically engineered super human character. His schtick is this - he was created by a benevolent scientist who wanted nothing more than to create the perfect embodiment of what human beings should be. In doing that, he looked to create a logical, beautiful, strong, intelligent, and charming specimen. In doing this, he allowed for one design flaw. He removed our natural tendency to nervous laugh in stressful or dangerous situations with instead a sudden rush of serotonin and dopamine; thinking illogical humor in times of crisis is something humanity could do without, he wanted to make the specimen more comfortable in such situations. The rush of chemicals though would have the same effect on him though as heroin to an addict and he would seek out death and destruction to sate his ravenous addiction. I am not sure if this will be okay though, as he is not technically a titan so I have yet to finish the final part of his app. I just wanted the go ahead before I did this.

Think really suave and intelligent Joker.

Character Description
    Name: Abel
Aliases: Haven't decided yet - just going to go with Abel for now.
    Gender: Male
Age: New born, but appearing late 20's early 30's
    Apperance:
    Image

Motivations
Goals: Make himself feel good. He is addicted to the serotonin and dopamine which is released into his brain whenever bad or painful experiences happen - what normal people usually just pass off with nervous laughter.
Fears: He is afraid of death, but nothing too outlandish outside that.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Powers : He is superhumanly strong being able to bench press 1200 pounds, and being able to squat 1600 ( beating out either world record by several hundred pounds ). What is more, he can a 3:00 minute mile and can maintain a dead sprint for up to 10 miles. He can hold his breath for up to 10 minutes with no adverse affects. He heals 5 times faster than the average human being. His reaction time is so fast, that it can go unnoticed if being ignored.
Abilities: He is like, a stupidly fast speed reader, photographic memory - and he can dance!
    Equipment:
    Weaknesses: no

Background:
General:(Tell me a bit about your character before the start of this thread.)
Stressor: (What happened to your character that caused their powers to activate?)
Orthodox Christian, Nationalist, Reactionary, Stoic

(2 Kings 2:23-25): you won't be dissappointed
