Yeah, just pull it out- no other characters begin with skills.

Name: Edward Tomlinson
Allegiance: European
Appearance: pale, thin, blue eyes, brown hair, 5"2 in height.
Backstory: Edward "Ted" Tomlinson was born into this world as a noble. He was raised quite casually often playing with the poorer kids. His families dynasty was but a small minor dynasty that saw little ambition. As Ted's later childhood came he noticed the political issues surrounding the land which he lived in. The king stricken by grief went mad and started executing noblemen who he believed were part of the plot that killed his wife and attempted to kill him. The nobility took heavy casualties including the destruction of many dynasty's. Ted's father Eric Tomlinson started a revolt to dethrone the mad king, and failed tremendously and as punishment for his crimes he was to be executed and his dynasty along with him. However Eric's little to few remaining allies had set up a way for Ted to escape and after explaining to Ted he couldn't help the situation at all, they shipped him to the new world. Now Ted jobless, homeless, and seeking a way to make a living will now use his fencing skills and little belongings he has to survive in this strange new world.

you could get a quicky job to help aboard a ship or buy fare to the mainland? Otherwise you can literally just "look for work" as an action, drop an introductionary post and include that you look around for some work.

Yeah, that'd be a nice idea. I think I'll just do the look for work action. Thanks. :)

I do have a question before I can get started, do the auto hirelings for the get equipment (Entry says tools, Spears, Bows, and Padded Vests. ) which I'm interpreting as a yes, but leaves me wondering what tools they get.

As it stands I'm torn between a Shaman and a War Chief

Playing tribes? I'd do Shaman, since it seems like a fun choice. Doing magic and all. I'd assume the equipment on hirelings start out with beginner, but to change it you have to pay. However im not 100% sure/

I agree, we need more magic users, healers especially.

Is it ok that I write my post similar to being like the other RP I have with you? I mean by long ass posts, since its now become a habit to super write.

Also in the future when you make an RP can you TG me? I really like your RPs, besides it's like a garenteed buddy to help you out. :p

Shame, that we don't have shamans for europeans, but maybe we can have a priest archetype? Someone who heals and does support rather than pure damage.

It takes me days to write really, and I still don't know what I'll be doing myself but sure.

I do have an RP that's going into through Alpha Testing and I'm hopefully getting the IC up today. I'll send you a TG.

If the Europeans had magic, even healing would make this more of a cakewalk than it already is with just guns.

Thanks. Writing wise, I just wrote alot more than most people due to focusing on flashbacking

Sure, I guess. I was imagining the inaccuracy on guns were more severe. At that time guns tended to be easy to use and effective, sure, but incredibly inaccurate. Initial guns were so bad that they just stood in fields and fired at one another. No cover necessary.

That can be the case. Instead of using magic that they have medical skills that can heal? More so than the Regular hireling who can do first aid.

Yeah, that'd make sense, but magic so sparkly and fun...

Dudes... I am the only person who has used a gun in game. I have not hit once with my gun. I basically rolled 2 crits on using naval cannons at approaching warships.

Alrighty guys, so, I'm desperately uninspired when it comes to this RP. Which, as you may imagine, is a bit of a problem given it relies so heavily on me to move individual plots and whatnot forward.

As such, I'm fully willing to turn this over to a Co-Op or two who can continue it as they see fit. I should be able to help with lore and explaining the mechanics and all that, I just don't have the mental energy to write out events for a half dozen characters every day.

Any volunteers? Anyone still interested in continuing?

Fuck it, I'll take one for the team. With Verore gone, I can't do anything else anyway.

Well, it was a fun concept. Basically a post by post dnd game, albeit simplified.

I am willing to continue this, albeit rather as a player than as a DM, considering I have 2 IRL DND games running as DM. Anyone willing to keep this running outside of me and apple?

I'm willing to do it. I oddly enjoy story making stuff.
