Bio: Filia Umbrarum was born in the year 1987 to a wealthy family in Brooklyn, New York. She was daughter of a demonic entity named Domini Umbrarum who took human form and a kind and loving American woman named Joanna, thus making Filia a cambion. The family was charge of one of the most largest multicorporation companies in the world, called S.H.A.D.E Industries. Filia inherented her powers from Domini Umbrarum who came from the Shadow Realm, which he rules as his personal domain. Filia's mother, Joanna, unfortunately died giving birth to her, which caused Domini Umbrarum to have a huge resentment towards the young cambion

In childhood Filia was quite sociably with her peers, finding a great love in helping those around her, seeking nothing in return. She went to a private school and did quite well with her education, getting along quite well with her peers., making friends with them However, even from a young age, Filia Umbrarum had a found herself constantly having the urge to steal. At times she would shop lift from various stores. At other times she would pickpocket, even her own friends and peers, and she would even go break into others homes at night and rob the place. The things she stole varied from the most valuable to the most useless, including shoes, pencils, paperclips, pens, toys, clothing, and even jewelry. Filia was caught quite a few times and have gotten in trouble, with only her family to bail her out. However, she found herself unable to stop with her crimes. Thus Filia was a diagnosed with kleptomania at age 10 and was later diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 15 after suffering from paranoia, delusions and hallucinations and was thus put on medication. The youthful half-demon continued her thievish exploits nonetheless, getting practiced with the art of thieving, no matter how terrible she felt about it at many times, to the point of the skills becoming super powers themselves.

Filia, upon reaching adulthood, later moved to San Diego
to live with her older cousin, Sophie, who is also a cambion. Sophie, like her uncle, owned a rather large corporation herself, and lived in an old estate that belonged to the Umbrarum Family for many years and was called Tenebrous Manor. Even in San Diego, Filia continued her thieving excursions, creating a costume and taking on the name "Lady Tenebrous". The half-demon proved to have a talent in the art of thievery unlike any other in the world. However, the young woman gained a sense of putting her kleptomania and powers over darkness and shadows to "good" use, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, which helped Filia come to terms with her thievish addiction and even fall even more in love with it.

As the years passed, Lady Tenebrous became one of the most wanted thieves in the world. The great thief have had many clashes with heros of all kinds, but has always managed to slip through their fingers. However, no one knows that the dark woman has even any connections to the lovely lady, Filia Umbrarum....

In the meantime, Filia and her cousin Sophie opened together a night club. Naming it the 'Nightingale Lounge', the club opened about a year ago and proved to be a successful and popular attraction in the City of San Diego. For food, drink, music and fun all are welcome at The Nightingale Lounge.
Powers:

• [Cambion Physiology]: Filia Umbrarum, being the daughter of a demon and a human, is made of dark magical energy, while normally a human, when she is fully immersed in darkness or area’s of negative emotion, her strength, speed and endurance increase to peak human levels. Also grant’s semi-immortality (stops aging at 21), supernatural beauty and night vision.
• [Darkness Manipulation]: Filia Umbrarum can generate and manipulate shadows as well as create constructs of anything she wishes out of them, holdings dominion over darkness. Filia also has the ability to become a shadow herself and teleport upon touching shadows.

Limitations:

• Can only create a small quantity of shadows, preventing her from plunging the world in everlasting darkness. Can only create shadow that go a maximum of 10 feet way. Can only become a shadow for about a minute at a time.

Weaknesses:

• [Holiness Aversion]: Weak against light magic, holy magic, light weaponry and holy weaponry. Also weak to holy objects like crosses, rosaries, holy water and weapons that have been blessed by priests. Vulnerable and powerless in holy places like churches and temples

Likes: Stealing shit, helping people, fighting bad guys and 'play' fighting with heros.

Her teleportation is vague as well. What's the range? Can she only teleport shadow to shadow?

1) Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)- To me is is the whole package. Entertaining, inspirational, awesome abilities ect. Also, takes no sh*ts from Batman. On the surface he is a asshole but has a heart of gold. Not to mention dat Oath and a great rouges gallery and a general sci fi themed lore. Did I mention some of my favorite comic stories of all time in Blackest Night and Brightest Day?

2) Superman-It's Superman. Done, nothing else needed. OK, I find Superman perhaps my biggest inspirational hero and contrary to many critics I actually find his overall character just great. The whole immigrant theme, protecting the values he was raised with and setting an example for others. Also, he has had comic panels which have made me cry man. No kidding.

3) Spider Man- He is literally the every man in comics. This guy has a relationship he needs to balance, alongside his crappy job, even crappier boss not to mention helping out his aunt. He juggles everyday struggles most every one deals with. Also, he is a hero with spidy powers and some of the best villains in MARVEL. Combine with a terrific character and costume design and ability set and he is in my opinion MARELs best hero.

4) Supergirl-There is some nostalgia with this one. A major character in one of my very first comic experiences. I like her mostly for the same reasons as her cousin as well as issues that are unique to her. Namely having to adopt to a new place rather than just grow up there and still remembering the legacy of her lost world ect.

5) Green Lantern(Jessica Cruz)-I have liked Jess ever since she was possessed by the alternate world Green Lantern Ring. Forget what it was called. But I find her perhaps the most unique among the Earth Lanterns. She has severe anxiety and insecurity issues. Which you think would disqualify her as a Lantern. I mean, she was a freaking shut in for years. And honestly, anyone can relate to being afraid or anxious. And its frankly a joy to follow her in her struggles and triumphs.

A strong telepath with a compassionate personality to match, Voice found a family within the Wonder Warriors and became a key member of the team when her whole world was turned upside down in the Young Blood’s Massacre. In a single night, Beverly had to watch as her friends were cut down before her eyes, slaughtered like lambs in their own home. Mentally connected to the rest of the team in order to allow them to communicate, she felt as each of their young lives were prematurely snuffed out, she heard their pleas for help and last desperate wishes. Having been in charge of helping civilians escape, Voice escaped with her life but was left burdened with regret. The event caused her to withdraw within herself and the constant, macabre media attention that she received disgusted her.

Retreating from the public eye, Voice’s methods took on a more extreme tone as she worked increasingly alone and in the shadows. Her once bright and welcoming personality became cold and abrasive, what friends she still had in the superhero community coming to give her a wide berth. Over the years, she has become increasingly cynical about the state of crime and justice, watching as a new generation of heroes becomes preoccupied with movie deals and fame rather than saving whoever needs their help. While Voice still occasionally takes to the street, her crime fighting activity has dropped dramatically. She’d much rather be left alone than pick at old wounds, but still harbours a burning grudge against those who took her family away from her.

Filia is suppose to be a darkness manipulating thief with great stealth and an ability to make quick get aways. I could restrict the teleportation to short distances.

Ya see, this is why I almost always go for street levelers. They get accepted easily enough into a role play filled with supers and then once they are in you make em powerful. -Imitates Zark Nod-
