Post is up, short version, Mike charges in and calls out an impromptu plan-B (whether anyone follows it or not is up to the others), goes on to wear down the weak points on the armour and narrowly avoids death by deflecting one of Thunderstruck's attacks.

I didn't really touch on the what Thunderstruck is doing/saying since Mike isn't fighting him so much as avoiding him

I'm similarly hoping that she doesn't get captured quite yet, but am still wracking my brains on how best she could make her escape - any ideas on that front would be welcomed.

• [Tactile Molecular Deconstruction]: To put it bluntly, Maria is able to break apart matter into it's constitute molecules by touch. So long as she can touch it, it can be affected, but she has a range of about fifty yards in all directions to which she can influence as needed. This power is more or less a secondary to her visible ability, reconstruction.
• [Tactile Molecular Reconstruction]: Able to re-assemble her deconstructed molecules to any form she can think of, Mar originally thought her powers were limited only to healing, because well, she would deconstruct damaged areas and re-assemble them as healthy once more, eliminating cuts and bruises as well as reversing severe trauma. Once she discovered that her ability is not limited to healing and she is able to interact with anything she can touch, she's been practicing getting better and in-control of her power.

Limitations:

• Range: Punk has a maximum distance of fifty yards from herself in which to interact with and manipulate molecules, with a steep cut off at that distance.
• Resources: Mar is limited with her molecules, she cannot destroy or create them on the fly, and you can only re-assemble the same set of molecules so many times.
• Touch: She can only affect what she can touch, and touching the air which touches the thing doesn't count, it needs to be direct contact with her skin.

Weaknesses:

• [Knowledge]: Mar needs to know what she is creating in order to make it. Complex machinery, life, technology, and other such things are out of her realm of immediate knowledge on the fly. It's easy to make barriers, walls, and spikes of course, but beyond that is iffy except in regards to medicine.
• [Touch]: I can't stress this enough, if she can't touch it, she can't affect it. Users of telekinesis, gravity manipulation, electromagnetic fields, force fields, all of that jazz, can render her power useless if they remove her from any sort of matter and hover her body just out of reach.

Well to be honest and more specific, my character is a Blade-esque character who hunts the rogue vampires (both old and young) who disrupt/threaten the masquerade. And also occasionally stumbled into regular heroic actions.

We also have other groups of heroes, Young Bloods being the newest one.

Well, by my count after looking at the current character list, there's six teenage vigilantes known to have been active before the YB formed, so I don't think that's excessive. And some of them can be explained (like Red and Frostbite being the children of known adult heroes), though certainly not all.

A meeting between between Gaul and Marionette sounds awesome! I love the dichotomy that they have going - with Gaul choosing to become a villain in order to fight the heroes and show them the errors of their philosophy and ideals, while Marionette became a villain as a result of her love of heroes and desire to be noticed by them.

This is true, and I think in a sense this id because many players prefer this role than starting with an untrained char. But I would contend there is an in universe explination for this. While teen heroes are discouraged, a lot of people kind of recognize that they are inevitable. Which is in part why Thomson High was made. But that being said, there's a reason why they are vigilantes rather than heroes. For example frost bite was forced to join the team or risk being treated like a villain.

Ultimately, its hard to axtually stop kids with powers from being heroes when it is such an appealing life style in American culture.

Indeed, each one is on the same "side" buy for wildly different reasons. Marionette wants to meet and admire heroes, to see them win and overcome in true heroic fashion. Gaul despises heroes for their treatment of villains, and their refusal to understand the issues villains face. He's idealistic in that sense, he just doesn't see that some people can be assholes regardless of right or wrong. But, I imagine Marionette would be interested in Gaul's reason to be villainous, plus, he's getting some fame for his activities.

Speaking of, do you have a hero in mind for who saved Marionette in her application? I talked with Tomia and Zark about a major NPC hero I'll be developing and he might fit that bill. He's somewhat of a Superman insert (cept not ridiculously overpowered) named Solar, and he tends to operate in the Southwest US where sunshine is plentiful, going to Mexico wouldn't be out of possibility for him. It would poison the relationship between Marionette and Gaul, however, as Solar and Gaul will have an epic bout with fists and philosophy soonish.
