So, characters who are very likely to happen from me.

This one is almost assured. Not decided though to go full character or just NPC. But she will be the right hand woman of The Saint, who does have a upcoming appearance in the RP. Possible lover, have not decided yet.

Then we have a coupe ideas for a YB recruit.

For this one, I really just like the anime character it is based off of and the design of the art work. Nothing else is really certain yet. I do not know if I will attach stretching powers to this concept or something else entirely.

And this is the 'Jedi Hero' concept I pitched earlier. I may think of something else for a YB but I am really trying to keep my options open and see what feels the best.

Essentially a Green Lantern Concept. He would use tech that would recreate the abilities of a Lantern with many of the same weaknesses such as a recharge time where he needs to be out of action.

Scott Green lead a very normal life for the most part. And honestly, there are very few noteworthy features to his history. There is no defining tragedy. There is no great natural ability or special gifts that he was born with to make this part of him more interesting. No, none of that. He grew up a single child, two loving parents and went to school five days a week. All very normal for a American boy his age. But, there is one interest that he has that defines him. His fascination with Science Fiction.

Star Ships, Aliens, exotic technology, Star Wars and Star Trek films in the day time and Halo and Mass Effect games at night.

There was a time when his father was a kid that aliens were only objects for the active imaginations of man. But by Scott's time, they were a plain as day fact of life. In fact, his two favorite heroes in the world were Recharge and Ju'lee Ma'alen. Because these two heroes were from worlds beyond. He has even met both of these heroes, when they passed through San Diego and Scott waited for a weekend to see them, camping out and making sure to get photos and autographs. He now has five signed magazines for Recharge and 3 posters for Ju'lee as well as seven photos between the two of them. They are his most prized possessions.

Entering High School, his dream in life was to get accepted into NASA and explore the stars for humanity and meet new life forms beyond Earth. To reach out and touch that Final Frontier.

So, you should get the picture. Well, when he was 15 he actually more or less achieved his dream to meet aliens from another world in person. Although not in a way that he expected.

He was abducted.

Scott did not know this, but these aliens were collectors. They went around to various worlds collecting life forms, stealing their technology and enslaving whom they had taken. However, when they came across Earth and realized that there was a culture of super heroes who could likely prevent them from 'collecting' anything, they took a more stealthy approach than usual. Only abducting a handful of humans and select pieces of tech for study rather than an outright attack. Scott spent weeks in their cells as he was taken further and further away from the planet he knew. But soon the collectors came across a prize that they could not turn down.

It was a science vessel, which had been studying an ancient and extinct race which was said to have been among the most advanced species of their time. Supposedly even developing a way to weaponize the emotional spectrum. The collectors boarded the science ship and killed or captured all aboard. However, as they were about to make the jump to hyper space, a military vessel appeared and fired on the collectors. This damaged the prison level and Scott was able to escape among the confusion, however many of the other captives were killed in the attempt to escape.

Scott however was lucky, meeting on of the captured scientists, a young student researcher from the science vessel. Despite the language barrier, she led him to the store room where the collectors had hoarded the tech and together she had managed to find the pieces which she had theorized could be the weapon they had been searching for. But as soon as they had found it, one of the collectors had discovered them and fired at them, wounding her and forcing Scott to wear the gauntlet.

He was terrified.

Then, in a brilliant flash of light the 15 year old human boy was enshrouded in yellow light. Blasting the collector in a fight or flight response with yellow energy. But things were different now. Their cries now made sense to him, and his wounded friend's pleas for assistance was now understood by him. The gauntlet possessed a universal translator. He attempted to grab her and carry her body to the an escape pod or transport craft, but he found that he was unable to touch her without causing her pain. She begged him to take the gauntlet and flee to her home planet of Aeon, it was nearby and the transports should have it in their auto pilot systems. But he was determined not to leave her behind, despite his fear.

It was slow at first, but his yellow light began to change. It stared to shine green, as he felt the courage needed to save her life. Now able to guide him to an escape, the pair made their way to a transport. Escaping only soon enough to avoid the conclusion of the battle. It was en route to her world that he began to feel compassion for his new friend, and desired a way to ease her suffering. And as if to answer the colors he wore went from green, to blue. His new blue light was discovered to possess the power to heal and cure. And by the time their ship had landed on her world, she was perfectly healthy, despite being exhausted.

Aeon was a world like which he had never seen. But he soon discovered that Earth was very far away. He was detained there for some time, treated humanely as they decided what should be done with him. He however managed to convince them that the gauntlet was his, and a human technology, and he refused to tell them its full capabilities. Thus he was allowed to keep it. He was released some time later and his friend, whom he discovered was named Ayala found him a place to stay. When the two were out together, they happened to witness a robbery, Scott activated his gauntlet to stop it and after doing so, decided he should be a super hero for this world. As it lacked the presence of heroes like Earth had. Taking the name Spectrum, he defended the planet as best he could manage for the next year and a half. From small threats to larger ones. But nothing on a large scale. Until the collectors returned.

An entire fleet discovered that the tech was being used there, and still sought its power for themselves. So, they invaded the planet and razed cities. Despite Spectrum's best efforts, he was unable to save his new home. Scott even believing that Ayala died in the attack. Once again feeling fear, he ran away. Taking a ship and setting a six month course for Earth. Hoping only that once the collectors realized he was no longer there, they would cease their invasion. Now, his ship crash landing outside of his home city of San Diego, he joins the Young Bloods hoping that with a team at his side, he will not fail to save a second world.

Powers:

• [Hardlight Constructs]: Uses an alien set of armor to materialize hard light constructs. Can forge various constructs to the limit of his imagination.
• [Flight]: Most emotional modes allow flight, the exception being the Red Light of Rage.
• [Defensive Shield]: All modes include a minor defensive shield which protects the user from basic threats. Such as a human punch or kick. But to stop anything like a bullet or superhuman attacks, the user must construct a shield of some sort.
• [Emotion Empowerment]:
  Courage/Green-Stable, offers wide use of all abilities such as constructs, flight ect.
  Compassion/Blue-Defensive in nature, offers healing abilities and shield constructs alongside flight.
  Rage/Red-The most powerful but limited in constructs and no flight.
  Fear/Yellow-The most erratic and unpredictable, power is inconsistent and makes user painful to touch, best restrained from a distance.
  Envy/Orange-Initially very weak, but can sap enemies of their strength and add that as fuel for constructs ect(Best countered by being defeated quickly)

Limitations:

• [Battery Life]: The armor charges itself when not in use, but while in combat scenarios, if the battery runs out it becomes inert and unable to be used until charged again.
• [Gauntlet Removal]: Obviously Scott must be wearing the gauntlet to make use of it, if separated from it. He is just a human teenager. The gauntlet can also be wielded by anyone else, meaning it could be removed and used against him.
• [Powers do not stack]: Scott can only use one mode at a time, he cannot for example use both Courage and Compassion at the same time. Or any other combination.

Weaknesses:

• [Requires A Focused Mind]: Scott needs to maintain a clear state of mind to form his constructs. This can be exploited by enemies by way of breaking his concentration. Such as exploiting his fear of water
• [High Electrical Energy]: (A strong enough electrical charge can temporarily disrupt his constructs and cause an opening to exploit)

Akiko was born in a family which was employed by the Yakuza. Her father, was a middle ranking member in the crime organization and he and his family were doing rather well. As a matter of fact, Akiko's early year were nothing special. She went to school with other kids, trained in kendo and sword play as well as karate and her daily studies. A model student she was proud to have a father who lived by a code, even if he was a criminal. She believed that he had traditional Japanese honor. This image of her father was shattered when she was thirteen. It was revealed that he had been cheating his fellow Yakuza for years. And as such he was killed for it. But that was not enough. The gang demanded that one in his family take his place to redeem their family name. As an only child, Akiko had volunteered to do so.

It had been suspected for some time that the girl was a meta-human as she possessed enhanced reflexes, and speed and agility to lower end super human levels. So, the gang accepted the offer.

Starting the following day, the gang took charge of her education and training. And Akiko dedicated herself to it. She excelled under the pressure and it seems that the boss had a fine replacement for her father. And when she turned seventeen, she was officially adapted into the gang. Getting her first tattoos, twin dragons upon her back. It was a surprise when they suddenly sprang to life upon completion. Knowing that the talented woman would be wasted as a common enforcer. They trained her as a assassin for the gang. Acting from the shadows and executing those who were a threat to the Tokyo Yakuza.

Taking the name, 'Nyotengu' translating roughly as female Tengu or female demon. She acted as the secret hand of her lord in the Yakuza. Gaining in reputation until just last year a gaijin appeared in Japan. A man calling himself 'The Saint'. Had personally approached the Tokyo Yakuza, the largest Yakuza in Japan. And offered a bargain. That in exchange for the Saint not setting up shop in their own territory. That the Yakuza would pay them a fee and offer their own operatives or resources should 'The Saint' need anything from their turf. Of course, the Yakuza declined, but made a counter offer. They would offer a duel, their best vs The Saint's best. And should the Saint win, then he can renegotiate the terms. But should the Yakuza win, then the Saint would hand over territory in any one nation of the Yakuza's choosing.

Both parties agreed. And the match was set. Nyotengu would be representing the Yakuza. As for 'The Saint'? He represented himself.

Upon entering, Daniel Cain informed the Yakuza that should he lose. That he would be dead and he had instructed his underlings to abide by the Yakuza. It was a deal they could not turn down. However, the match was short. And Cain, emerged victorious. His bioform weapons slicing through Nyotengu's blades and defeating her tattoo Dragons.

Upon defeat, Nyotengu nearly committed suicide. But Cain stopped her, and told her that if she was looking to serve someone with honor.

She need look no further.

Since that day, Nyotengu has been the right hand of 'The Saint' as well as eventually his lover. She is the one he trusts to carry out his will and is often the one to make sure that his orders are carried out, and his enemies silenced.

Powers:

• [Master Swordswoman]: (Nyotengu is a master of the Katana and wields two specially designed blades)
• [Tattoo Manipulation]: (Nyotengu can bring her tattoos to 'life' and command them as her own, this has a limited range and obviously she must have a tattoo for it. For example, her tattoo dragons can be 'summoned' after which the tattoos will vanish from her skin and appear before her in both form and mass, she can then direct these with her mind. But should they get too far away from her, they turn into ink again and reappear on her as tattoos. Also, Tattoos can only act as they portray. For example, if she were to get a tattoo of a gun, she could not summon it and use it as a sword. It would be in essence a temporary gun ect)
• [Enhanced Reflexes and Agility]: (Nyotengu has enhanced speed and reflexes, she is not a speedster, but can react to things much faster than any normal human)

Limitations:

• (Nyotengu never uses firearms, giving her very limited combat range)
• (Any and all creations from her tattoos have form and mass and can be destroyed, causing them to revert back to tattoo form and they need a cool down time before being used again)

Weaknesses:

• [Human Durability]: (While maybe not a weakness per se, for all of her skill and meta human ability, she is rather easy to kill should a lethal blow hit her. To add to this, she never wears any protective armor.)

Biography:

Gaul was born at Riverside General Hospital in the Third Ward of Houston, the second child of Yusef and Salma. Out of five children, two parents, all in a two-bedroom run-down apartment, Gaul stood out with higher than average physical condition and strength from an early age, implying he had latent superhuman potential. However, his parents were always suspicious of government-run and even privately owned superpowered agencies and scouts, and were not vocal about Mustafa's ability. At the same time, they wanted to keep their family together, and if their son had heroic potential, then he would be taken away.

Despite their reclusiveness, Yusef and his wife were active in the community, and encouraged their children to be mindful of others intentions and motivations, and above all, to be able to defend yourself. This was the Third Ward of Houston, after all, an impoverished and slum-like ghetto where it was often said that heroes never came. That statement would become a reality when Gaul was around twelve years old, and the rising tensions in downtown Houston turned into all-out warfare among several city blocks. Gangs, militias, armed citizens, and the like all rose up in response to several incidents with superpowered youths on a crime spree, which just spiraled out of control into the so-called Ward Wars.

Living through the hell of watching his neighbors beaten and battered, even murdered, severely affected Gaul. He joined in with secret patrols of younger boys, aiming to protect their block while just looking for an excuse to let out their frustrations on outsiders. He got into many fights, many jumps, got jumped himself, was robbed, stabbed, you name it, Gaul was both a sufferer and a perpetrator in the War. And true to it's statement, no heroes came to the Third Ward. It would take a little over a year for the situation to settle down, enough for the National Guard and State Militia to move in and enforce order, which had already been mostly achieved by that point. Thousands were arrested and several put on trial, but not enough justice could be delivered, and many would simply walk free.

Gaul walked away from the Ward War changed, a boy forced to grow up quickly and defend himself and his family, and he found himself lacking in that regard. He left his home at age fourteen, with a mission and passion to right the wrongs he had perceived in the world around him. He found a lone master of martial arts by chance on craigslist, and pestered the man until he took Gaul under his wing and taught him the secrets of the human body and how to fight in the proper style. Sensei noticed how Gaul could pick up a fighting style and perfect it in moments, declaring the boy a prodigy, and continuing on into master-level techniques.

Four years later, Gaul stood on a level field with Sensei, a man who dedicated his life to mystical and both known and unknown martial arts, so much so that in the middle of one of their sparring matches, Sensei declared Gaul to be a master of he artform, and that Gaul had nothing left to learn from the master. The two parted ways some time after, with Gaul in pursuit of heroes, donning the masquerade of a villain to pay retribution for the inaction of so-called heroes in Houston, expanding his hunt and eventually moving out to California, where we find him today.

Powers:

• Body Supremacy: Trained from his youth, Gaul is able to have complete control over his entire body by having his "mind, body, and spirit" work in sync, a method he was taught through Mayla Carter. This fine control allows him to preform superhuman feats of strength, agility, speed, and durability with ease, as well as unlocking greater potential within his mind, such as granting an indomitable will and a perception of what paths one is likely to take in hand to hand situations. As he has control of his body's own regeneration, he's able to repair himself at will, granted he has the energy or available nutrition to do so.
  • Supernatural Condition: Explained above, but Gaul sits at about Type II on the scale. In each successive fight he's gotten into, Gaul has shown an increase in his base physical stats that have elevated him from an enhanced condition state to a full-blown Supernatural one.
  • Indomitable Will: Exceedingly convinced of his own abilities, motives, and ideology, Gaul is steadfast in his beliefs, not only in his warped view of reality, but his physical abilities and prowess. The man just refuses to quit or give up, which creates an insane feedback loop with his damage empowerment as he'll continue to fight and struggle even if it tears him apart or even kills him. His mind just forces itself to push on even when his body screams for a moment of rest.
  • Supernatural Combat: To put it simply, Gaul is on a completely different level when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, able to just One Man Army the shit out of almost anyone he comes across. He leverages his superpowerful body and mind into a mobile and brutally effective weapon, essentially adapting to the fighting style of his opponent and either using it against them or countering it in the heat of battle. He was hand-trained by one of the best martial artist master on Earth, Mayla Carter.
  • Accelerated Probability: Rather than witness the absolute future of events, Gaul is able to accurately predict and read the body language of people and how they respond to situations. This isn't a for-sure thing, either, Gaul is basically presented with a list of possibilities and has to account for them like so.
  • Healing Factor: By controlling the natural regenerative processes of the body, Gaul is able to accelerate his recovery of most injuries, even ones not normally recoverable, such as lost limbs or nerve damage. The main drawback to that is that Gaul requires high caloric intake in order to preform such healing, and he won't be able to effortlessly re-craft a limb in the midst of a fight. Re-attach his tendons on his ankle? Sure, regrow an arm that was sliced off? You're asking for the Moon.
  
  
• Damage Empowerment: Basically, Gaul gets stronger, fast, more durable, and larger pool of stamina the more damage that he takes. He's limited at the beginning of such engagements, being able only to handle what his fairly durable form can take, but steadily progresses and becomes more aggressively empowering as the fight wears on. Eventually, Gaul resorts to attrition and can simply wear down opponents. Fightin' Spirit.

Limitations:

• Gaul must withstand the pain or damage he is taking for it to become empowering, otherwise, the overwhelming damage will just knock him out or outright kill him if it's too strong of an initial attack.
• Self-Doubt and utter shock can end up breaking his willpower and spirit, which in turn will just whittle away at his fighting ability.
• Healing requires energy, and for larger injuries, he needs more caloric intake. Most fights where he utilizes this power leaves him in a state of extreme hunger and exhaustion.

Weaknesses:

• [Non-Physical]: Gaul is at home in physical confrontations, hand to hand and up in your face. He is hard-countered by long range, magic, and energy attacks. He only has his body and it responds to physical damage, he has no flight or projectiles to use. Not only this, but his only defense against telepathic attacks on his mind is his Indomitable Will, which can be overcome with enough brute force telepathic power.
• [Attrition]:His body requires upkeep, and it's entirely possible to tire him out of his regenerative ability, and eventually win a battle of attrition if you keep his damage empowerment in check.
• [Core]: In addition, Gaul's head must remain in tact for healing to take effect. Removing his head from the body is a pretty quick way to kill him.
