Righto, Karolyn will be set to join the Young Bloods but her intentions are not pure, she intends to defect and bring their information with her when she does. While Nathan idolizes superheroes to a near zealot level, Karolyn is the same way with villains, she absolutely adores the complex motives and backstories that drive superpowered people to a life of "crime", which she mostly sees as a necessary evil against an unjust society. She, however, has no motivation to join the evildoers except for that idolization, she has no tragic backstory, no harsh intent, just a fangirl who eventually ends up way over her head.

An easy way to get us into a fight pretty soon is both Nathan and Karolyn are out on the town at night with their alter-egos in place, Karolyn as Apex begins causing ruckus while Nathan as Zeus responds. Fight ensues soon after.

Using an ancient Parahuman naming scheme, Mordred is her given name whereas Io is her surname, however, for males in her family, the surname is Ico instead of Io. Names and how they are arranged, sound, and are presented are extremely important in Parahuman culture, which is why many have strange naming systems or entire clans dedicated to a single letter, beginning each and every member with a name chosen from that letter. Now that that's out of the way, Mordred is not from Earth, and neither is her mother. They hail from a small planetoid named Madworld, populated by a sister-species of humanity known as Parahumans, who have long ago left Earth and set about travelling the stars, creating distance in genetics and culture from their homeworld.

Mordred and her mother, Io Vivien, came to Earth when Mordred was around 16, opting to make the journey as Vivien and her husband separated, and what better distance than several planets away? Regardless, their arrival was completely unexpected and threw open the door for interaction and diplomacy between Madworld and Earth, each side fascinated in the development of their genetic cousins. Though they opened the gate, Mordred and her mother did not stay in the spotlight of Parahuman-Human affairs, and they both retired to a life of isolated comfort. However, Mordred had soon come to adopt the idea of heroism and living for the sake of others, a different view from the norm of Parahuman society, which stressed individual strength and social Darwinism.

Having received training in one of the many Parahuman martial arts schools in her youth, Mordred began to attend Thomsen High as somewhat of a celebrity initially, which quickly lost it's appeal since she's so similar to normal humanity, in order to educate herself in becoming a leader and teammate worth having, not to mention how to actually put her powers to use as a hero. Parahumans gain their powers early on usually, and this gave Mordred a leg up as her ability to manipulate immensely hot and dangerous Nuclear Fire was already under control and well-trained. As she finished her last year in Thomsen High, Mordred has received many invitations to join or try-out for hero teams and agencies across the country, but she is content on stick around South California for a while to see if heroism is what she truly wants to do with her life.

Powers:

• [Nuclear Fire Manipulation]: Able to generate and project immensely hot and radioactive flames from any part of her body, Mordred is a devastating close-to-medium range fighter. Nuclear flames burn significantly higher and hotter than normal or even divine flames, being as hot as the sun's surface at their minimum and hotter than the cores of the most massive and dense of stars at their highest, but beyond this, Mordred's fire immunity quickly disappears.
• [Supernatural Condition]: Parahuman Physiology is at the highest of humans (Olympic level) at their baseline average, making Mordred extremely strong, fast, durable, and able to endure much more and much longer than any normal human could.

Limitations:

• Self-Ignition: Care must be taken as to just how hot Mordred can go, as the laws of physics apply and the transfer of heat is very real. Raising the temperature of air particles to that of the sun's core in an instant can produce a disastrous nuclear-level shockwave, for instance. There are hard physical limits to how hot Mordred can go as well, as the hottest she can go before suffering burn-back effects is 50,000 Kelvin. Twice that, and she runs the immediate risk of self-combustion.
• Though stronger than a normal human, she is still human, and it might take two hits to knock her out instead of one, it can still be done. She is not invulnerable or faster than a speeding bullet, just slightly above peak, and that is still within the realm of take down potential.

Weaknesses:

• [Radiation Overload]: Nuclear Fire produces radiation, and while Mordred is immune to her flames effects for the most part, her radiation by-product is not as protected against. Over time, she can accumulate radioactive particles in her body which will drastically weaken and incapacitate her for some time due to radiation sickness, however, her Parahuman physiology will allow her to recover after a few days of rest without much risk of cancer, though, there is always a chance.
• [If We Talkin' Body]: As stated before, Mordred is probably what you'd get if you spliced Brock Lesnar with Usain Bolt. Not a great nor fun experience taking down physically, but a well-trained and determined martial artist can definitely do some damage or incapacitate her physically.

Quick Summary(paragraph please): Far beyond the night sky, there is a race of warriors feared by all those around: the Torvarhim. Hailing from the world of Karshan in the Myrmidon Cloud, these bloodthirsty fighters spent their time waging war against each other, until a man known only as Lord Graviton appeared. One by one, he challenged all of the Torvarhim lords and defeated them, crowning himself as the emperor of his race. Setting his eyes on the stars around him, he led his people on a crusade across the darkness of space; the other races of the Myrmidon Cloud did not last long, and soon the whole galaxy was under a single man's control.

But even this was not enough. To this day, Lord Graviton continues traveling to distant worlds and challenging their strongest warriors to test their strength, before returning with the full might of the Torvarhim horde riding right behind. I'm pretty sure you're fine. No one that I'm aware of can destroy cities. Based on what I've read, the strongest characters would probably decimate a few city blocks, but that's about it. Your guy has a nifty power. Maybe he can find ways to use it in such a way that he can easily tangle with everyone else.

Relax, you won't be alone there. Unless my char found a way to draw city-sized magic rune he will also be limited in terms of raw power.

I could see some similarities between our characters. They are both trained from birth by a shady organization and I presume from the bio your character is the kind that uses his power to support his actual fighting skill.

I plan for Nathan to be an antivillain of sorts, like Magneto is for mutants. I want him to go on a journey of exploration in his plans to take down Lycan/Warwolf, so at the end he “realizes” how supers, aliens, and wizards are better than the normal human and should be higher in society. I don’t want him to go like in a genocidal rampage or anything like that, but he’ll be working against super suppression groups. I was hoping maybe that he’d be thrown out of YB for his superior super beliefs and that would make him lose that heroic idolization.

But if we do before they join the YB, then their hero/villain idolizations would definitely be a good starter for a fight.

Yeah, don't worry too much, mate. All of the YBs should be on roughly the same power scale (and if not, we'll make them -produces nerf bat-), so you won't be underpowered.

Now if you count NPCs, then yes, most definitely, but the stronger ones won't come into play as often, so don't worry either way
