So I'm kind of wanting, if everyone is fine with it, the Young Bloods (Or at least some) to attend Red's court trial. Basically just some reactions, since this will sort of decide how Red will proceed at the end of the arc.

I get that you guys are still on the training arc though, so I'm expecting to have to wait for some time. However, if anyone is interested in doing that, it'd be appreciated.

I wouldn't mind having my characters participate in something like that. Though I feel as though Red wasn't with the others long enough for it to be too meaningful.

For the supposed murders he's now accused of. Gonna end in him going to a high security prison.

Have you considered your new character idea as a NPC? Thats basically what I am doing. Or trying to do.

Yeah, that could work. This character would be the same character that I used in the previous Young Blood iteration, a Tony Stark-esque who is affiliated with Lycan but felt disillusioned with Lycan.

Do they have to use the app in the first page as well? Considering the npc status

I do not think the app is 'obligatory' but it would not hurt. If you are gonna do that though you may want to add in that the character is a NPC on the app.

Speaking of which Daniel Cain is not an NPC app, that is a full character app. Just letting the op and co-ops know.

And it wont be until after the War Wolf Arc but does anyone have any interest in taking on Daniel's crime empire? He will be expanding operations in to San Diego very soon.

Not in the moment. Although I have an arc of my own that probably can connects with Daniel's crime empire, if you want Daniel to be involved in an arc.

I am actually very curious as to how the YBs will respond to the Saint once they get a feel for how he operates his business. Will they compromise their code and allow him to operate? As a lesser evil in their city keeping worse evil in check? Will they be content to just force him out of San Diego?

Or will they go for a total victory, trying to dismantle his whole empire?

I am looking forward to it. Especially curious for Carter's reaction to finally meeting Raven's long lost brother he has heard so much about.

I'll have some villains interested in the trial, maybe some attempts to recruit Red as well.

So, I just realized that I couldn't take making another truckload of apps so I'll cut things down a bit.

Also, since a Nazi is apparently inacceptable, just like a Nazi faction, I will simply resort to my second most favourite villains which would be christian fanatics. Gotta get into competition with Lycan haha. Human-Supremacy in its purest form.

Btw, I am also prolly going to make a somewhat bee-themed character, however, I am unsure over which appearance to use. Appearances for me often are very defining for the character as I try to make the character fit to how he appears and vice versa. Heck, the appearance I choose might even decide wether or not she will be a Young Blood or a villain. Someone plz help me choose:
Option A
Option B
Option C
Option D
Option E

Well, I have to say that in all of my superhero RPs I never saw a Bee themed character. Far better than a Nazi. I wonder what powers she will have though.

Option A-I am down with this one. A little on the sexy side for a Bee character but that is not too unusual. I mean, pretty sure that DC Comics 'Queen Bee' is a bit similar.

Option B-Ah, kinda too much going on with the design on this one. For a bee concept like that I would go with a simpler and smoother design myself.

Option C-A really good one actually. Really implements the bee theme with six limbs going beyond a simple yellow and black color scheme some of the other ones seem to do. Probably my favorite here. Good balance of cuteness, innocent carefree appearance I would imagine of such a character and of course bee like anatomy, but not so much so you cannot see the humanity there.

Option D-No...just no. Not My Bee.

Option E-This one is pretty good. A little much on the human side of things but overall not too sexy, not too cringe and not too well...anything. It's a solid inoffensive balance.

Well, there, If I had to rank them I would say C, E and A in that order. B only if it really appeals to you and stay the hell away from D.

Age: 1,145 (Appears to be 18)
Gender: Female

Young Blood?: No
Bio:

Brynhildr Ericdottir was born in the year 873 A.D in small village located in what is considered modern day Denmark. Both of her parents were seen as capable warriors, her mother especially being renown for her skills as a shield-maiden who had bested dozen of Frankish warriors on the various raids they went on. Due to complications after Brynhildr's birth, her mother was no longer able to have children, leaving Brynhildr as their only child.

Thus, her parents hoped that she would become a simple wife who would be able to live in peace, bearing the children of a merchant or even perhaps a thane. Indeed, her her beauty was enough that she could have easily wooed any suitor she would have wanted, but she had aspirations much larger than being a simple mother to her husband's children. No, in her heart she longed to join the others on the battlefield, wanting to become a shield-maiden like her mother before her. Her parents tried to reason with their daughter but to no avail. With great reluctance, they did their best to teach their daughter all of the lessons they themselves had learned through years of fighting.

It quickly became apparent to her parents as well as other members of her village that the girl had a natural talent for combat. Within a few short years, she became so proficient with the shield and spear that not even some of the veteran warriors were able to best her in their mock duels. She possessed strength that could match many of the strongest boys in her village, easily being able to beat them in wrestling matches despite them being twice her size. She also was so quick that she could even outrun the fastest of the village's hunting dogs, a feat never before seen in their village.

So when Brynhildr turned 18, her parents decided that she was finally ready to accompany them on a raid. The young girl could hardly contain her excitement, as she was eager to prove her worth in battle to not only to her parents but to the men in the village who doubted her.

The target of their attacks was Francia, the lands of the Franks. It was a place filled with bountiful goods as long as a warrior was willing to fight for them. The area had been raided for decades at this point, and it seemed as though the Franks could do little to stop these Scandinavian invaders as they pillaged their way through the countryside.

At first, resistance had been fairly light against the Viking raiding party. As they floated downriver, they would attack towns located near the river, slaughtering those who were either foolish to try and stop them or too slow to run away in time. Unfortunately, the pickings were dismal, as these towns had become accustomed to these raids and had already stashed away their most valuable goods further inland.

However, things would soon dramatically change one day, as they suddenly found themselves confronted by a mighty Frankish army led by none other than the king of the Franks, Arnulf of Carinthia. The Viking war party, although outnumbered, decided to face their enemy head on. This proved to be a mistake, however, as King Arnulf had already prepared several defensive fortifications in preparation against the invaders.

Brynhildr and the rest of her comrades soon found themselves under intense arrow and cross-bolt fire. By the time they reached the waiting Frankish infantry, their numbers had already been cut in half. The Vikings fought valiantly, slaying five men for every one of their own that fell. However, they soon found themselves defeated, as their foe was simply too much for them to overcome. The order to retreat was given, however, several dozen warriors decided to stay behind in order to give their retreating comrades a chance to make it back to their longboats.

Brynhildr and her parents were among these few courageous warriors who stood their ground. Together, they did their best to hold off the Franks, who were now on the offensive as they sought to kill every last of their invaders. Brynhildr's mother was the first to fall, as several spears pierced through her torso all at once. Her father, seeing his wife's life fade from her eyes, let out a roar as he hacked through several of his wife's killers before he too succumbed to the piercing blades of the Franks.

All of this occurred right in front of their daughter's eyes, who continued to fight on despite her eyes brimming with tears. Her spear was broken after being embedded in the chest of a Frankish spearman, her shield so weighed down with arrows that she could no longer carry it, and her armor was so damaged that she was practically fighting naked. Even as a spear was thrust through her abdomen, she reached for the soldier's knife and drove it through the man's neck before her legs finally gave out below her.

It was then when Brynhildr let out her final breath, a single word escaping her lips as she faded from this world.

"Valhöll."

As she closed her eyes, she felt as if she was floating through a black ocean, unable to see but feeling as if she being moved by some type of force. When she opened her eyes, she suddenly found herself laying in a grass field, with nobody around except for herself. Confused, she tried to move, but found herself stuck in place. It was then when the sound of a woman's voice reached her ears.

"Brynhildr, you have proven yourself worthy today."

Turning her head to the source of the voice, Brynhildr found herself staring at a beautiful woman, dressed in a suit immaculate suit of armor and possessing a pair of wings on her back. The girl immediately recognized the woman as none other than a Valkyrie, women who watched over the battlefields in search of warriors who died a valiant death.

"Should you wish, you may join the Goddess Freya in the fields of Fólkvangr, where discomfort and strife will never bother you again."

The woman paused, glancing up and down at Brynhildr almost as if she was inspecting her.

"Or, if you wish, you may join the ranks of the Valkyrja, where you shall judge the mortal warriors on their feats and battle and decide who will deserve to become one of Óðinn's Einherjars."

The woman spread her two arms apart, as if to indicate the two choices she had presented. She waited in silence for the girl's decision, but she did not have to wait for long as Brynhildr stared right into the woman's eyes as she responded.

"I wish to serve Óðinn as a Valkyrja."

The Valkyrie simply nodded, and after a bright flash of light Brynhildr suddenly found herself transported into a dining hall that was indescribable in mortal words. It's walls seemed to stretch on forever, and above their heads was not a ceiling but instead the branches of the World Tree, Yggdrasill. Brynhildr did not have much time to admire the sight, however, as the sound of whistling drew her attention back to the Valkyrie from before, who held a small smile on her face as she looked at the astonished look on the girl's face.

"Yes, it truly is wonderful. But we Valkyrja are not here to enjoy this place, at least as the Einherjar do. We have duties we must perform both here as well on the battlefields. If you had wished for a blissful life, you would have chosen to go to Fólkvangr instead."

Brynhildr could only nod, although she couldn't help but continue to stare at the sights around her. If the Valkyrie hadn't dragged her by the arm, she doubted she would have been able to leave. The Valkyrie seemed to cut her a little bit of slack, as she kept her pace just slow enough that it was still possible to glance around at the sights.

As they made their way out of the main hall, the Valkyrie introduced herself as Astrid. Apparently she had chosen to become a Valkyrie herself several decades before, although she could not remember exactly when as life spent here was much different than life in the mortal realm. She complimented Brynhildr on her bravery she had shown in battle, which made the girl blush slightly. When she asked about her parents, Astrid answered that she was not allowed to reveal the fates of others. However, she gave a small smile to the girl, assuring her that they had done more than enough to earn them some well deserved rest in the afterlife.

After a brief tour of Valhalla, Brynhildr was led down to the rest of Asgard, where she was once again astounded by the sight. It was a city unlike anything she had ever seen before, something once again that was impossible to describe using words. After the shock had worn off, she was brought to a large building which was decorated with various runes that glowed bright blue. Astrid informed her that they were gifts of Odin, who used the magic held within the runes to provide the Valkyries with anything they could possibly imagine.

As they walked inside the building, this became apparent as the interior of the building was much larger than what it appeared like from the outside. Hallways seemed to stretch on forever with rooms lining its length. Roaming its hallways were what Brynhildr could only guess to be other Valkyries. Like Astrid, they all wore immaculate suits of armor, although it appeared as though they did not seem to possess wings at the moment. She assumed that they were likely controlled by willpower, and soon began to wonder if she herself would have them.

Astrid seemed to notice her deep in thought, and simply chuckled before informing her that it would be quite some time before she would have her wings. In fact, that along with her steed would be the last gifts she would receive, from none other than Odin himself. However, if she wanted to get there, she would need to prove herself first.

And for what an indeterminable amount of time, that's exactly what Brynhildr did. Day after day, she trained alongside other newly recruited Valkyries, learning not only the duties that came with being a Valkyrie but as well as how to fight like one. As it turned out, the Valkyries themselves were destined to fight alongside the Einherjar and the Gods when Ragnarok eventually came. And while they were destined to be defeated, this didn't meant they would simply roll over and let it happen.

Eventually, Brynhildr and her fellow sisters finally earned the title of Valkyrie. As Astrid had promised, Odin himself was there to gift the newly fledged Valkyries their last gifts. To say they were honored by the presence of the All Father was an understatement. For most Valkyries, this would be the only experience they would have this close to the ruler of Asgard, as only a handful of high ranking Valkyries would ever personally report to him, and even this was a rarity.

It was after receiving these wings that Brynhildr was given the full secrets of the Valkyries. They were immortal beings, given the strength of a dozen men, the speed of a wolf, and the beauty of a swan. These powers were further amplified when wearing their armor, crafted by Dwarven smiths and imbued with the magic of the runes. Surprisingly, their primary task was not to search the battlefields for slain warriors, but instead to ensure the care of the Einhenjar as well as serve as scouts in the various other realms when Odin required it of them.

There were only two ways one would cease being a Valkyrie. The first, and by far the most honorable, was for a Valkyrie to die in battle. While it wasn't common for it to happen, when it did the Valkyries would be returned to Fólkvangr and be treated as esteemed guests of Freya where they could live peacefully. The other option, and the most common, was for a Valkyrie to lose her virginity to a man. Seeing as they often visited the mortal realm, these incidents were seen as a foolish venture, as once they did this they would no longer be able to return to Asgard. At best, they could hope to end up in Folkvang as a normal inhabitant.

For Brynhildr, the thought of the latter option was out of the question. She vowed to never fall to the whims of a simple mortal man, no matter how handsome and charming he may be. For her, the honor of being a Valkyrie was something that she would not dare to throw away for something as trivial as love.

And for many years, this was the case for Brynhildr as she fulfilled her duties as a Valkyrie. She watched over countless battles, always searching for those who proved their worth on the battlefield. For quite some time, her and her sisters were quite busy as the people she was once a part of continued to raid and even conquer the lands surrounding them.

However, as the centuries went by, it soon became evident that less and less warriors were being sent to the afterlife. At least, their afterlife. In what was at first baffling to the Valkyries, the souls of the slain warriors no longer waited to have their fates decided by the Valkyries. Instead, they appeared to vanish elsewhere. It was then when Brynhildr and the rest of the Valkyries learned that a new religion had spread across the lands, and the souls of the warriors were now being sent to wherever this new afterlife was. While there were still occasional souls who were available for judgement, many of the Valkyries were coming back to Valhalla empty handed.

So after some time, it was decided that the majority of the Valkyries would begin to fulfill a new role in the mortal realm. Instead of waiting for the mortal warriors to decide on seeking a honorable death, they began to appear to them in a variety of forms. Sometimes they'd appear in their dreams, sometimes they'd whisper quietly into their ears unseen, or even from time to time they would pretend to be mortal women. No matter how they did it, they gave these warriors the encouragement to break free of their fear and be filled with courage as they charged straight at their enemies.

It was during one of these missions that Brynhildr found herself almost breaking the vow she had made countless centuries ago. In the trenches of what would later be known as The Great War, she met an American soldier by the name of Thomas Bower.

Even for Brynhildr, she found it hard to not admire the man's looks. Even when covered in dirt, mud, and blood, the man seemed to captivate her every time they spoke within his dreams. It wasn't long until the man's actions also began to draw her in, as he possessed both the courage to charge headfirst into machine gun fire while at the same time had the compassion to drag a wounded German soldier back into their trench so that he could be treated by their medics.

In all her years, Brynhildr had never seen a man such as him. So one night, she appeared as a mortal woman donning a dress to Thomas who was alone on his guard duty. The man nearly jumped out of his boots when he saw a girl who he chalked up to being a mere dream appear before him. However, he managed to regather himself, and immediately asked her just who she was.

It was here where Brynhildr committed a sin that no Valkyrie was ever supposed to commit: She told him of her identity, as well as begged for him to leave his station and escape with her far away from the battlefield. She couldn't bare to watch this man die, and she knew that his time would soon be up as this was one of the many powers Valkyries possessed. In her mind, if she could warn Thomas and get him out of the line of danger, then whatever repercussions that occurred to her would be worth it.

Thomas stood quietly as the beautiful girl begged for him to escape with her. Indeed, the offer was more than tempting for the young man, but he knew in his heart that he couldn't do such a thing. He quietly answered that he wouldn't abandon his fellow brothers in arms, no matter if it meant he was to die. He thanked her, however, for her concern, and admitted that if they had met in any other kind of situation, that he would have been the happiest man in the world to have a girl as beautiful as her want to be in his life.

The Valkyrie stood there silently, not knowing how to react to the man's words. Here she had offered the man a way out of this muddy hellhole of a battlefield, yet he still chose to honor his duty and not abandon his comrades. After a few seconds, she decided that she simply didn't care anymore. She was going to save this man's life, whether he wanted her to or not.

In an instant, the girl changed her attire from the dress she had appeared in to her armor, her wings stretching from one side of the trench to the other. She planned on simply grabbing Thomas and flying away as far from the battlefield as far away as she could. Where they would end up, she had no idea, but she wasn't going to stop until the sight of trenches and barbwire was long past them.

However, before she could reach out to him, a rumble so huge that it shook the ground below them erupted, followed by a massive explosion that appeared between her and Thomas that sent them flying through the air. While the mortals would have thought this to be an artillery strike, Brynhildr knew exactly what had caused this. It was Thor's lightning, a power that was strong enough to kill Jötunn with a single blast.

When the dirt and mud finally settled, Brynhildr was horrified to find that Thomas had been killed by the blast. Before she could even try to reach out to his dead body, Astrid suddenly appeared before her, a look of both contempt and disappointment on her face. At the snap of her fingers, ropes suddenly bounded the rouge Valkyrie, much to her sobbing protests as she begged to let her die with Thomas.

This mercy was not granted. Instead, Brynhildr was dragged into the air by her former mentor. The last thing she was able to see before they were transported to Valhalla was the sight of Thomas's face. In what must have been some type of cruel fate, the man seemed to have a smile on his face.

When Brynhildr was brought to Valhalla, she was met with the sight of her sisters glares as she continued to kick and scream Thomas's name. This continued until finally Astrid delivered a swift kick to her ribs, which stunned her long enough for Astrid to drop her in front of the throne of Odin.

The one eyed God stared down at the rouge Valkyrie, contemplating on what to do with her. She had broken several major rules of the Valkyrie, the worst of them being the attempt to stop the death of a warrior. While he kept it to himself, Odin couldn't help but feel as though he had stumbled into a bad joke, as he knew that if it hadn't been for Brynhildr's interference the man would have actually lived through the war. If the Valkyrie had just been patient, she could have found her happiness.

After what could have been an eternity of silence, Odin decided on what to have the rouge Valkyrie's punishment would be. She would be stripped of her wings, her steed, and anything else that would allow her to travel between the realms. However, she would be to return, however only if she could redeem herself by a feat of immense courage that went far beyond her mortal death. To that avail, she would be able to retain her armor, weapons, and a fraction of the power she possessed as a full-fledged Valkyrie. Until she could do that, however, she would be forced to live in the mortal realm below.

Brynhildr tried to deny the punishment, instead asking to simply be executed as she felt as if she had no reason to continue on with her existence. Many of the Valkyries stood there in shock, as trying to defy the All Father was something no Valkyrie had done before. However, being all-knowing as he was, he had planned on this occurring. While Odin was a fair and wise God, he was not benevolent.

If Brynhildr refused, he promised her that not only her soul but the souls of her parents would be given to the Goddess Hel, where they would spend the rest of eternity in cold misery until they would be used as pawns against the Gods during Ragnarok.

This was enough to convince the Valkyrie to finally submit. While she would have accepted these terms if it had only been herself, the threat of her parents being punished for her sins was too much for her to bare. So with gritted teeth, she agreed to Odin's original punishment. As promised, any method of traveling across the realms were taken from her, as well as a great deal of her powers that immediately made her feel as if she was a fire reduced to a mere spark.

And thus, with no further words from either the God nor her former sisters, Brynhildr was cast down towards the mortal realm, where she would now have little differences to the humans around her. Whether or not it was an act of kindness or a way of eliminating potential problems, her spear and shield were enchanted by Odin to have the ability to transform into a simple pen and watch when not needed. Her armor was likewise transformed into a small necklace that would blend in with any style of clothing she wore.

So now, for over a hundred years, Brynhildr has traversed the mortal world in hopes of redeeming herself to Odin and the other Valkyries. At first, she tried desperately to do what she could, but the human way of living had changed dramatically since the last time she had lived as one of them. No longer were women seen as capable warriors. Instead they were expected to simply stay at home and be mothers, which meant that Brynhildr had no chance of finding any method of completing her goal through battle. Things had become dreary for her, as she began to think that she would be doomed to live on forever in this mortal world, unable to prove herself.

However, as The Great War came to a close, a chance for glory suddenly found Brynhildr, as the rise of mobster gangs which preyed on the American public occurred in the 1920s. With no other alternative, Brynhildr began to fight these gangsters, her powers and abilities allowing her to take them on headfirst. This resulted in many close calls, as instead of using blades these men used guns to fight. The ex-Valkyrie was injured severely several times over the course of this time, but thanks to her abilities she was able to recover eventually as her wounds were never fatal.

She continued fighting crime for quite some time, until eventually another great war broke out in Europe. Seeing a new opportunity, she traveled over to France, now using the name Brianna Erickson as to not raise as many eyebrows as her former name did. She would fight with the French partisans over the course of the war, trying over and over again to accomplish a feat great enough to appease Odin. However, as American troops began to parade across Paris, it became clear that she had missed out on her chance.

For the next 70 years, the ex-Valkyrie now now as Brianna did her best to follow the sounds of battle wherever she could, but was often unable to do much as the times had yet to change and thus she was forced to eventually return to her crime fighting days in America. She stayed in cities across the the country, fighting crime as much as she could. Quite often, it was clear that even after leaving a pile of dead bodies of gangsters and other low-lifes behind, it wasn't enough.

However, the appearance of super powered villains changed things dramatically. If mere mortal men weren't enough to earn enough glory, she thought that it would be these meta-humans that could.

So she continued to fight, hoping that one day she could find herself in a situation where she could finally accomplish the task given to her by Odin all those years ago. Eventually, she found herself in what appeared to be the latest hotbed of villain activity, San Diego. However, things are not going quite as well as they used to, as the villains have gotten stronger and stronger to the point that she alone could no longer defeat them.

So now she waits, eagerly searching for a group of people who are both strong enough to take on the impossible while at the same time aren't afraid to get their hands dirty in the process. While the newly formed Young Bloods first seemed promising, it became clear that they were too "Good" for her.

Unbeknownst to her, she's soon to find a small band of misfits that will end up becoming the perfect fit for her.

Powers:
  • [Enhanced Physical Abilities]: While nowhere near some of the powers of others, Brianna is much stronger, faster, and agile than the average human. While she's not going to be punching through a brick wall or jumping over three story buildings, her physical abilities are definitely something to look out for.
  • [Enchanted Equipment]: When she chooses, Brianna can equip herself in a suit of armor as well as arm herself with a spear and shield. While her regular armor can fend of practically any blade, most average firearm projectiles can pierce through it. Thankfully, her shield is capable of fending off most average sized calibers, however larger calibers will still be able to punch through its protection. Her spear is capable of piercing through practically anything that's not too heavily armored.
  • [Immortal]: Brianna is incapable of dying through natural causes and does not age.

Limitations:
  • [Limited Equipment]: Brianna refuses to use any modern technology in terms of equipment for use in battle. She will, for all intents and purposes, possibly be bringing a knife to a gunfight. If she can't reach a henchman before he pulls the trigger on his shotgun or pulls the pin on the grenade, she is at a huge disadvantage.
  • [Moral Code]: Brianna will not attempt underhanded tactics to use against her enemy, in terms of them not having a chance to respond. This is but not including killing them while they sleep, attacking a surrendering opponent, or using violence against innocents.

Weaknesses:
  • [Human Fragility]: Brianna can still be injured or even outright killed by others. This can be anything from being shot, stabbed, blown up, or even poisoned. She also tires, gets hungry, and needs sleep just like a regular human.
  • [Loss of Powers]: If Brianna was ever to, ahem, do the dirty deed, she would lose all of her powers and be no different than a regular mortal

Also, I was wondering Tomia, how open are you to NPC established villains being killed?

Option A
Option B
Option C
Option D
Option E

Option C-A really good one actually. Really implements the bee theme with six limbs going beyond a simple yellow and black color scheme some of the other ones seem to do. Probably my favorite here. Good balance of cuteness, innocent carefree appearance I would imagine of such a character and of course bee like anatomy, but not so much so you cannot see the humanity there.

Option D-No...just no. Not My Bee.

I felt tempted to post the only other picture I knew of Option C and then see your reaction.
Anyway, that makes three C, two for E and two ones for A and B. Guess we'll make a character based on C. Though I could honour E and make a character on that as well...yeah...why not?

Well, for bees types you usually have two types of powersets. It's either something I like to call Queen Bee set which is usually similar to DC's Queen Bee or it is something I like to call Attack Bee set which is more based on Marvel's Wasp or DC's Bumblebee.

You also usually need to look at what you want to be the origin of the power as you have three sources you could use for a bee theme. Those three I like to call: Magic, Biology and Tech.
Magic refers to...well a bee based fairy for instance who derive their powers from magic.
Biology refers to Alien or Biologically altered creatures who derive their powers from their biology.
And tech lastly refers to People using bee based technological gadgets.

DC's Queen Bee has her source of power in her Alien Biology, although she also has bee based tech to back it up. Both Wasp and Bumblebee are resorting to bee tech on the other hand.

I suppose I could make Option E a fairy bee Young Blood and Option C will become a Queen Bee type villainess (because that's what she looks like). Problem will be making Option C not seem like an Expy.

Well, someone knows there Birds and Bees? No? OK....

Looking forward to what you come up with but I honestly got a more Young Blood feel from C. Did not strike me as villainess at all. Guess it just depends on who is looking.

She doesn't necessarily strike one as villainness, indeed, although villains don't always need to think that what they're doing is bad and can have good motivations or whatever but the way they go about things doesn't exactly align with what one would call right.

As for her not being a young blood...well...I actually ruled her out of that because she looked too old for that and the powerset I would have given her simply wouldn't fit to a hero at all.
