Colombia, the CDR

It was a sunny day in Colombia, the mood of the Capital was a mixed one. It was undoubtedly true that the CDR was in the process of becoming a great post-USA Nation. President Menking was in the Gray house, the president very happy with the state of the Confederation. The Republics were getting along well enough with the Government so he was able to work effectively for the Confederation. Education for the various Republics was developing under the pretext of choice. This has lead to a drift from traditional schooling to Charter schools, which have shown to be more effective and innovative when it came to schooling. This was one of the Domestic developments going on, and it was also on the brink of a American Educational revolution. Menking was a firm believer that getting educated will get people “out the hood” and into the middle class.

The introduction of Indiana had gone well, it's military forces and assets were gradually interlinked with that of the CDRs. It would be one of the more bitter sweet admissions into the Confederation considering the nature of Gadsen at the moment. All Hoosiers had to be called home, to assure their safety, as the CDR could never be sure what the rouge regime would do in retaliation to the civilian population. However their history with civil rights wasn't the greatest, so that didn't give them the greatest of hopes. Regardless all that could be done for the moment is prepare.

However there was other things for Menking to consider as well. The C1A Davis was entering production soon, and would be the MBT would gradually outnumber the M1 Abrams the Military was currently using. As far as the Air Force went, F-35’s, F-22’s, and other Aircraft were gradually Building up. The Air Force was definitely one of the Biggest in post-USA America.

Menking sipped a cup of Coffee, he got a phone call. A phone call from the Secretary of Defense. “Hello?” He asked the caller.

“Mr. President, our expectations proved to be correct. Gadsden has declared war on us……………..the first Declaration of War on the American continent in I don’t how many years. Orders?” Secretary of Defense James Fuller said.

“Damn, operation Liberty in Danger is now a go. We knew this was coming, let’s give those bastards a reason to hate us.” He said, the grip on his pen tightening.

“Yes sir, I’ll get back to you soon.” The SoD Said before hanging up.

Menking shot up, and began organizing an appearance with congress for military operations and a declaration of war against Gadsen.

To Gadsen: We, the Confederation of Democratic Republics declare war upon the state of Gadsen. Their obvious disrespect and disregard for Human Rights is sickening, and we intend to right those wrongs.

Operation Liberty in Danger

The Military has mobilized a bit after Indiana had joined the CDR, and reserves were gradually being called into the Army. At this point, there was an open call for all Reserves to report to their nearest bases for military operations. Not only that, the Republics went into full production and recruiting mode. Especially from Indiana it seemed. It was coined as the “Wrath of the Hoosiers” by the Media, considering the prompt response by Indiana who was in the most immediate danger of any Gadsen incursions.

The Air Force got to work, Targeting Gadsen Air Bases, AA Defenses, munition Production, things to contribute to the war effort. They also targeted Army and Marine targeted on the way to Chicago, one of the first objectives of the CDR Military. They also targeted infrastructure that would help the Gadsen Army move about, and get to their objectives effectively. Oh no, when the CDR was done, not only would they not be safe to move, it would be difficult to move. No air transportation of any kind by the Gadsen Military would go without being shot down. Gadsen Air Space is now going to be put under firm CDR control.

Meanwhile in the Cities pamphlets were dropping assuring them “Their day of Freedom was at hand.” This was especially true for the city of Chicago, which the CDR Military intended to liberate First. As 150,000 CDR Army Soldiers rolled across the border. Their objectives were clear, the first being the liberation of Chicago. They had a very specific way they would be dealing with the Gadsen Government, which lead to Special Operations Units infiltrating Chicago to stir dissent, and hopefully get their hands on Government Officials. Especially when it came to making sure no one left as CDR Military drew closer to the city. As it grew ever obvious of the situation, it was a matter of mere hours before CDR troops would be in the city.

Meanwhile the Marines chose an area near Chicago called Evanston to land 40,000 Marines. Aerial support kept their Aerial view, and make sure the Marines would not be under threat from the Gadsen Army. First off the city of Evanston would be captured, making use of AAVs, then bringing equipment on land, where the Marines would set up before pushing south to the capital.

Landing points for soldiers, and equipment were established as the "stuff" that was needed to fight the war was put on the ground. Meanwhile precise strikes against enemy positions were carried out as the Army and Marines advanced. The help of Special Forces specialized in infiltration of Urban areas surly helped, and the fact that this would probably be the case of Urban Warfare in america if there has ever been such a scenario.

This would lead to the capture of Chicago, which the CDR hoped the least amount of damage would be dealt to the city. The civilian population was expected to be very supportive of the of the CDR, so care was being given for the Military’s presentation. After that, further steps would be taken to silence the Gadsen military, and try to convince the military via propaganda that the war was over for them. This was how it was all supposed to work in theory at least.

Tallahassee, Florida
President Rick Scott stood on the balcony of the Presidential mansion as the military parade kicked off, several platoons marched by to the beat of the military band. President Scott snapped off a smart salute every time a platoon passed his position.

After the platoons of men came the tanks, hundreds of T-72s, T-80s, and T-90s purchased from the Russian federation rolled by, led of course by the Fabulous American Made M1A2 Abrams.

Almost perfectly timed with the parade, Operation Pig Bay kicked off in the Caribbean, Pig Bay, the largest Naval Wargame in the Caribbean for many years. The ships simulated engaging enemy fast moving aircraft and Amphibious landings.

This all coming barely 2 weeks after leaked images of torture occurring in Cuba, which was heavily condemned by the CSA.

Anchorage,Republic of Alaska

President Bill Walker

Elections would be soon and the Alaskan Libertarian Party was going to take the lead if he didnt act. It wasnt much better with the Democratic-Republican Reform Party looking to win congress. The Alaskan National party was not doing well, it seems as he wouldn't be president for long, the Mayor of Fairbanks, Mr. Micheal Evans was the candidate for the Democratic-Republican party, while the Libertarians courted Tash Mercia who lived in the Aleutian islands which housed one of the biggest naval bases outside of Anchorage. He would be returning to Juneau in a few days and next month the election would take place, it was tense in the capital.

The Natives were backing the libertarians and the D-R Reform party was backed by many others, the scandal with the mayor of Juneau set his party behind. The man was in jail but the stains of him still remain. This meant the incoming president would have to head to Texas for a meeting in two months over oil.

National Military Training Reserve, Republic of Alaska

Col. James Ackerman, Army Training Command, RoA Army

He wore his uniform with his winter coat over it, and he scout sniper candidates preparing to head into the field. There was to be a snow storm in a few days and this would force them to survive the elements. They were carrying M16s, with a M14 rifle used by the scout snipers. The goal of the Alaskan Military was to engage in asymmetric warfare since they didnt have the numbers of supplies to wage conventional war. If Alaska would be invaded they would dump armories to the general public and militias so they can aid the military in conflict.

United Forever in Friendship and Labor

Denver, USSA

The man known to the people just as the Premier, stepped up to his podium in front of the Communist Party State House in Denver, large banners bearing the hammer and sickle on a red background draped behind him.

" People of our glorious republic, we are strong! The Capitalist Imperialists thought we couldn't do it, but we did! Two years ago, our glorious nation was established under the oath of myself and the leaders of the communist Party that we would always serve the people and their will! We live for the people! We work for the people! We fight for the people! Have we kept our oath?"

The crowd screamed a loud cheer of affirm ace, the few Fascists in the crowd being squashed out in force by the Red Army's Police force stationed there.

" Good, very good. I am glad to hear that. We have overthrown the chains of fascism and capitalism that our forefathers placed upon us and established our glorious red republic, forever will it stand! In celebration of this day, the state has provided every single one of our citizens with six free loaves of bread and new toys for the children, simply waiting for you at your local Communist Party Headquarters."

The crowd let out another cheer.

The Premier's voice grew solemn. " Now listen my good people. The Workers in the Fascist Nations Surronding us were not as fortunate. They have not experienced the victory of the people and the glory of communism. It our duty to liberate them! Now go my people, live your lives in freedom and prosperity, work hard for one another and the state!" One last cheer was let out and the Red Army Band and Choir struck up another tune as the Premier walked off the stage, back into the building behind him. A trio of W-1's (Former F-22s) flew over the gathering, the red stars on their wings evident to the crowd below. The military parade resumed, as thousands of soldiers and scores of tanks rolled past, all men and women saluting the CP Headquarters. It was a good day to be a citizen in the USSA, on Foundation Day.

G23

Kiser smiled as he stood up in front of the table of leaders and said “I am glad you all are here. We have much to discuss and I look forward to the next few days.” He noticed the absence of the German Chancellor and had to hide a look of anger but quickly sat down and allowed others to speak.

Austin, Texas

Now that the G23 has ended Kiser was back in Austin. Sitting in his office in the Lone Star House he was interrupted in his reading by a military officer that came in saying “Sir, war has been declared on the CDR by Gadsen.” Kiser stood up and said “I want out Forces there now. The CDR is an important ally. Send the Rangers and two F-16 squadrons. I will work with Congress to declare war officially but for now I’ll ude my power to declare war for 90 days.” With that the officer went to do his orders.

Later
CDR

The Texan Forces has arrived and the Rangers were in several C-130’s waiting to fly into enemy territory and jump behind enemy lines. The F-16’s were acting as escorts as well as a few having their own missions of hitting key enemy infrastructure. On the C-130’s the light went green as they crossed behind the enemy line and a few minutes later the Rangers were jumping out and landing on the ground hidden by trees and the night.

D.C.
"Mister President, the agents are in place. They begin their missions in 20 minutes. We have, untraceably, hacked into local cameras to view their carnage as it unfolds. Your theatre will begin streaming their carnage as soon as it starts."

Martin smiled thinking that his plan would bring about the destruction of the fake states propped up and the eventual reunion of the USA.
"That's great to hear, Adam. Gather my closest aides. I want them to see this. Instruct the guards to eliminate any who are disturbed by it. They must be willing to do whatever it takes to reclaim the United States."

OOC: you can choose how much carnage they cause. Just don't expose t right away.

Gasden

Chicago

The Gasden Forces in the city had fought bravely to defend the city but the CDR Forces mixed with Texan airstrikes on the railroads cutting off supplies put them in a bad place. Then the civilians started taking up arms helping the CDR and Texan Forces. Within two days the order was given by local military leaders and soon any remaining Gasden Forces were waiving the white flag.

Illinois-Indiana Border

Gasden border forces had been trying to hold back the CDR but had slowly started to be pushed back. However reinforcements were being sent from the West side of the state. While this left Gasden weak against a Texan invasion High Command believed it would take time for the Texans To mobalize in mass. Right now the pressing issue was the CDR.

Gasden Airspace

Gasden Airspace in the South PF the nation was almost completely under CDR/Texan control. However the North was still mostly Gasden controlled. This was Gasden’s saving greave right now. Allowing them to fly supplies closer to the front.

Operation Enduring Liberty

The city of Chicago. The third largest city in the former United States, However the Confederation’s Flag now flies above the city. They actually flew all over the city, the people of the city overwhelmingly supportive of the fact they can now be free after three years of hell. Some flags had 11 Stars, representing all the states of Gadsen with the original 7 States The Confederation already had. As it stood, the Confederation now had to deal with multiple objectives.

With the coastal areas of Illinois under Confederation Control, the time was for new objectives. Sections of the Military would be heading to Springfield, and with the unrestrained and unrestricted air supremacy in the air, the poorly equipped Armies of Gadsen would find it practically impossible to withstand the combined efforts of the CDR’s branches, and the fact the CDR had the support of Gadsden’s civilian population. There was also a push north towards Milwaukee, which was practically beginning the second theatre of the war for the CDR.

2 Divisions worth of 40,000 soldiers came across the Michigan-Wisconsin border seized the city of Marinette, pushing towards Green Bay, then Minneapolis. Where those Soldiers went, so did unquestioned air supremacy. It wasn’t a matter of if, but when these objectives were meet. With all this in consideration, the Confederation was ready for any necessary escalation.
