I'm working on a post right now myself. Writer's block has been a killer, but I should have it up around nine.
EDIT: I'll give Megan something to respond to lol.

If/when your application is approved. If you want to link up, maybe join the tour with Ryo? I have been looking for a way to get him involved. Both our characters would be attending the Academy for the first time. I should have just stuck Ryo in the line in the first place!

Sure. Once the approval comes, Melissa can probably join up with Ryo, maybe somewhere near where the tour hold up is?

Anyway, here is my app, sorry for the short bio but needed to get this out before I go on my trip.
Name: Melissa June Walraven
Sex: Female
Gender: Female (Binary)
Grade: 11th
Role: Student (Army JROTC Cadet)
Birthday: 17/02/2001 (I use DD/MM/YYYY)
Hometown: Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States of America
Appearance:
Height, Weight, and Body Type: 5'6, 120 lbs, very toned and fit but slightly bulkier than slim
Personality: To say the least, Melissa is a dedicated and focused teenage girl looking towards her personal future at heart and at a first impression, comes off as a serious but when in certain circumstances, she often leaves a personal impression of being a very icy character, too straight laced and way too serious for her own good, and that is normally the case when you encounter her during her events, such as JROTC and her sports, mainly swimming. However, she kind of opens up when she is relaxed and then switches to a friendly and open personality, and often can talk about various topics and events for a good session of time, although she is often noticeably guarded about several things mostly relating to her home life and her personal issues
Sexual Orientation: "0" on Kinsey Scale
Moral Alignment: "Lawful Good" Alignment
Personal Skills: Very athletic, well adjusted to sports, hiking and other long distance activities. Excellent swimmer. Intelligent and socially savvy. Good at reading and writing. Knows a bit of Krav Maga martial arts and knows how to fire a gun, mostly through shooting lessons and her dad teaching her.
Personal Vulnerabilities: Susceptible to following blind orders without question, even when it is wrong. Susceptible to peer pressure. Has a wound up and strict sense of black/white morality and actions, which sometimes leaves to big misunderstandings and logic gaps. Not very good at reading or taking jokes. Sometimes freezes up and has a brain scramble when stressed and under heavy pressure. Flippant and selfish at times. Suffers from severe abandonment and loneliness issues due to her dad's long deployments when he was in the military. Also thinks and laments too much about things in the past and present.
Biography: Melissa was born February 17th, 2001 to a middle class suburban family with a long history with the US military in the seaside city of Bridgeport, Connecticut, the heartland of the New England region of the United States. She was brought up in a loving, stable household, and had grown a strong connection to her younger siblings, Quentin and Jackie when they were born a few years after she was born, Quentin in 2002 and Jackie in 2004 respectively. Melissa, from a young and impressionable age, had a strong interest in academics, reading, fiction stories and swimming and those interests developed into her hobbies over time. When she was old enough though, started taking regular swimming lessons and as a bonus when her dad came home on leave, taught her how to fire a gun and went to lessons on how to fight, mostly with the Israeli martial arts Krav Maga when she was 15, and grew to be excellent at swimming and decently knowledgeable in the martial arts. She, although she didn't want to admit it at first, was a straight laced daddy's girl.
Despite her dad, who was in the US Army, often being deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq because of the War on Terror and the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, she appeared on the outside to have managed that aspect of being the daughter and child of a serving US Army solider serving overseas, usually expressing hope that her dad is defending her country and in addition to her hobbies of reading and swimming, her biggest dream from a early age to follow in her dad's footsteps of joining the United States Army. Privately however, away from her mom and her siblings, she lamented about not seeing her dad for long periods of time and this overthinking eventually developed into her fear of abandonment and loneliness, as she grew a outright fear of losing her dad, as she loved him dearly and couldn't imagine living her teen life without him physically or mentally by her side, even after he was honourably discharged from the US Army in 2015, after major combat operations ended in Afghanistan.
In the meantime, she went though middle school and the early part of high school in Connecticut pretty well, and despite her doubts about the entire experience, managed to gain valuable insight into what high school was like both academically and socially, and combined with her heavy studying, managed to succeed quite well and get good grades, while also managing to keep up with her hobbies, mainly swimming and homework. However, her overthinking also led her into other issues that she developed in her early teens, which was that her sense of moral compass was a bit too straight, her too serious public face, her lack of joke taking skills and her tendency to follow people's suggestions and authority orders too fast. However it was the good grades and her increasing independence that lead her parents to decide to send her to a boarding school, and after seeing a few choices, decided to send her to Coastal Daytona Academy in Daytona Beach, in the sunny state of Florida. Although she thought about being away from her parents and home for too long, she accepted that she was going to a new school.
After she got accepted, she quickly joined up with the Army JROTC program at the school when she found out about it, and it was the first step to follow her big dream of going into the US Army like her dad was. Now, it was the first day, and it was about to be her first year in Coastal Daytona Academy.
RP Sample: Blake Holsey
Other: Daughter of Patrick & Jainie Walraven (Patrick a former US Army Specialist sent to Afghanistan and Iraq and now a Connecticut Army National Guardsman & Jainie a former US Navy Petty Officer that served on several Arleigh Burke-class destroyers in the 1990s). Older sister of Quentin and Jackie Walraven. A member of the Army JROTC Program at Coastal Daytona Academy.

Height, Weight, and Body Type: 6'0, 160 lbs, athletic
Personality: Josh is a guy who likes to have fun. He always questions why the world is so boring and bleak and depressing, and asks why things can't be light-hearted and happy. Needless to say, he's a child at heart, always getting super-excited about stuff and showing childlike enthusiasm. He's also a little sheltered, which was kind of a big punch in the face when he hit high school. He has a lot of energy, always needing to be busy or he'll go crazy of boredom. Get past all of his manic energy and craziness, and he's a very good friend who's very loyal, friendly, and kind. He's very social...sometimes to the point of flirting a lot, but that's just why his friends love him.
Like his best friend Larry and girlfriend Amy, he's a big hipster and minor media nerd, despite the jock appearance. He'll talk with you about weird rock music, new trends, and counter-culture all day. He doesn't care for TV and literature much, aside from shows like Spartan UTC, Sasuke, and Ultimate Beastmaster, which he often watches with Larry all day. Mostly, he loves video games, particularly JRPG's and platformers.
Sexual Orientation: 0 on the Kinsey Scale
Moral Alignment: Neutral
Personal Skills: Good athlete, specialty is baseball. Good at drumming. Very kind and loyal. Decent with children. Somehow really good at cleaning.
Personal Vulnerabilities: A bit clumsy and slow-witted, not always being the sharpest knife in the drawer. Isn't the greatest strategist. Can have a quick fuse. Has insomnia and sometimes requires sleeping pills.
Biography: Josh was born on June 15, 2002. He was always a very active child, often fussing and crawling and walking at an early age. Despite the fact that he picked up walking fast, it took longer than normal for him to start speaking, and when he did, it was somewhat erratically. It turns out, he had a stutter and was having trouble speaking.
When he was a little older, he started attending speech therapy to correct his stutter and help him speak better. This therapy continued for quite some time in his early life. But speech therapy wasn't the only thing giving him hassle. His parents divorced when he was five, and he never really got over it. He was absolutely devastated, and struggled for a while to adapt. He would have to change houses every month, and would have to deal with a new step-parents, and some new half-siblings. His mother married a new man that became Josh's stepfather, and his father married a new woman that became his stepmother. While he got along decently enough with his stepfather, sharing some common interests and acting cordially to each other, he despised his stepmother. His stepmother was a clear and obvious gold digger, who clearly married his dad for his lucrative job as the COO of a large start-up, and acted horribly to Josh behind his loving, but misinformed dad's back. He was cussed at, treated like scum, and even hit a couple times.
Compounding his struggles was his new half-brother Lucas who was born when Josh was 8. While he wasn't evil or anything like that, care of Lucas was generally handed over to Josh, basically just making him the caregiver of the baby. While he did love his little stepbrother, he was frustrated with how much responsibility was on his shoulders and how his freedom had been "taken away from him". He turned to video games and sports to relieve the pressure, going everyday to the local diamond to practice with friends, and exercising in his mother and step-father's new basement gym. This helped carry him through elementary and middle school, until he got some more hurtful news: His father and stepmother had died in a plane crash. And as the cherry on top, his mother, stepfather, stepbrother and him were all moving to Daytona Beach
Josh had a lot of difficulty adjusting to the move, but high school at CDA was made better by a couple things. The sports, those were always great. Band was tons of fun, and most of all, his two greatest friends in the world: Larry Fisher and Amy West. Josh and Larry met while Larry was trying to form an indie-rock band, and him and Josh met at auditions. After that, they were inseparable, doing sports, band, and basically everything together. Josh met Amy at homecoming, and the two hit it off, cementing their small circle of friends. In May, Amy and Josh decided to try dating, to which Josh was ecstatic. He had minor doubts because he thought Larry would be upset, but these fears were quickly dismissed.
RP Sample: ....
Other: Really likes psychedelic and space rock for some strange reason, as well as liking ambient.

Larry may not have known that Carmine bullied Timothy, assuming that is who he is referring to, for the reason being that it is the latter's first year at CDA.
I would clarify this with Axis first, however, as Carmine and/or Bethany may have talked about him.

Um, Timothy is supposed to be a sophomore though. He's in the same grade as Carmine and Bethany in the original app.

The way I read the IC seemed to suggest they were surprised to have seen Timothy at CDA, suggesting he was elsewhere for his freshman year.

Ah. They were surprised because they didn't expect to see Timothy at that precise moment. Since Carmine didn't spot him earlier, she assumed he must have managed to avoid her by checking in earlier or by just hiding in the crowd.
Also, I kinda intended for Timothy to have arrived before Megan, which was why it mentioned he "wasn't last in line, though he certainly wasn't the first" in the original post.

In that case, neither would be an issue.
Also, I will edit the post to change the direction that Megan is viewing Carmine, Bethany, and Timothy accordingly.
