Name: Rachel Foxx
Sex: Female
Gender: Cisgender
Grade: 11th, Junior
Role: Boarding Student
Birthday: 16 years old. October 19th, 2000.
Hometown: Chadron, Nebraska, United States (Is a country girl, so lived in the outer city area)
Appearance:
ImageImageImage

Height, Weight, and Body Type: 5'6", 131 pounds, and she's pretty well built. She's not like, super strong or anything like that, but she does have decent muscles and such. Doesn't seem to be overly skinny, either, but she's by no means overweight. She's just done enough work regularly that it has made her "toned" well, or however you would put it.
Personality: As far as personality goes, she seems to be super energetic a lot. Not always, but sometimes, yeah. Especially when it comes to fangirling, like when it involves her favorite racer. So yeah, she gets a bit hyper about things. But she can be very laid back and mellow when it counts. Just...not if she's watching a race, which she hasn't really got the opportunity to watch a race in person yet. Just on YouTube and television. She seems to do well with friends, and likes hanging out with them and having a good time, whatever that might mean. She likes doing stuff. She doesn't do well when it comes to sitting around a lot, so she's the type that does good when she has friends to do things with, like going to parks, fairs, and such like that. So she seems to be that overly excited friend that is just a fun loving friend to be around, even if possibly a bit overbearing at times with her also being the type to likely randomly hug you if you did something to make her really happy.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual. 0 on the Kinsey Scale.
Moral Alignment: Neutral Good
Personal Skills: 1.Mechanical work on cars (Though isn't amazing with it, she just knows a lot of stuff)
2.Eventually driving skills
3.Fixing random things up
4.General car and racing knowledge
5.Fairly well versed on guns and how to shoot them, thanks to her father being keen on teaching her.
6.Can handle work on a farm quite well.
Personal Vulnerabilities: Has a habit of getting rather obsessive over things, like cars, race car drivers, and various celebrities in general. Can do the same with people in general as well. This can be a problem if it gets too extreme. Also seems to happen for all sorts of things, for better or worse. May come off as a bit childish at times. Doesn't seem to do particularly well when things start to get too tough, easily crumbling when life is grim.
Biography: Rachel, from a young age, developed an obsession with cars. She LOVES cars of all types. Super cars, sports cars, muscle cars, electric cars, rally cars, you name it, she enjoys it. She's always looking at the new latest cars to see which ones are cool, and looking at the tech behind them. She also watches all sorts of types of races, from Nascar, rally, rally cross, ect. And not just cars. She enjoys motorcycles and such as well, just prefers cars. Either way, she loves it all, and it's a huge part of her life now. She's helped her parents with their car before because she knows more about the inside of a car then they do.

She wishes she had cars to fiddle with, or had a car period, but her parents haven't let her own one yet. Which is really frustrating to her. She's 16, why can't she drive now?! But her parents continuously seem to be hesitant to let her learn. The most likely reason is that they're afraid, because she said that she wants to grow up and be a racer like some of her favorite racers, so that makes them a little hesitant to give her a car, because they're worried that she's going to speed and race in it or something. But for her, it's just pure frustration. She wants to learn how to drive so she can EVENTUALLY get good at racing, not BE a street racer. That's not really her plan. Speeding though, she might speed, because I can't say that she'll be great with everything, but street racing would be a pretty big no for her. Eventually she hopes to convince her parents to let her drive, but right now, that's still a battle.

She also grew up as a Christian, because of her parents being Christian's, and she adapted the belief in Christianity as well. She grew up in the Bible belt, so it wasn't like it was entirely surprising. However, religious or not, she's not very preachy about it. It's just there, a part of her. Her parents are a little more preachy about it than she is. But she definitely believes nonetheless, she just doesn't want to shove it down peoples throats. Because she respects other peoples tastes and possibly their beliefs, and doesn't want to come off as annoying by talking about God all the time or something like that, so she keeps it more to herself. She isn't afraid to show that she is religious, though, you just might not immediately take note because of her only really praying or seeming religious when she is by herself, or occasionally talking about it. She isn't extremely religious, anyway, so that helps her not be quite as preachy as some people can be. Those that are extremely religious for her, at least depending on how you approach it, can come off as crazy a lot, so she is more laid back about her beliefs.

Rachel had grown up in Nebraska with her family. They lived on a farm, and they were all rather hard working. She knew exactly what hard work was like, working her ass off on the daily to keep up with the farm life. She was used to getting down and dirty, as it was just a part of her life on the farm and working with her hard life country parents. Her dad had also taken her shooting countless times, so she had an appreciation for guns quite a bit. This was also where she ended up just getting a love for cars, mostly naturally. In replacement compared to a normal teenage girl with, say, magazines full of hot boys everywhere, or maybe even horses, she just had car magazines everywhere, though a lot of the time now she simply looked them up online.

Eventually, although she would certainly miss her family, she had decided to try out a boarding school in Florida. And now here she was, in Florida, starting her first year at Coastal Daytona High School. Already though, she was missing her parents and siblings, and farm, but she had to do something with her life.
RP Sample: A girl best described as acting like a fan girl all the time, mostly about anything to do with cars.
Other: She was the oldest of three children. There were her parents, Matthew and Rebecca, and her 12-year old sister Charlotte and her 7-year old brother Tony. Hopes to be some sort of professional racer someday, though she isn't exactly sure in what type of racing yet. Likes racing movies, for obvious reasons. Pretty much anything with her revolves around cars.

I got sixteen mains myself. Already used five. Not counting minors.

Anyway, here is my app, sorry for the short bio but needed to get this out before I go on my trip.

Name: Melissa June Walraven
Sex: Female
Gender: Female (Binary)
Grade: 11th
Role: Student (Army JROTC Cadet)
Birthday: 17/02/2001 (I use DD/MM/YYYY)
Hometown: Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States of America
Appearance:
Image

Height, Weight, and Body Type: 5'6, 120 lbs, very toned and fit but slightly bulkier than slim
Personality: To say the least, Melissa is a dedicated and focused teenage girl looking towards her personal future at heart and at a first impression, comes off as a serious but when in certain circumstances, she often leaves a personal impression of being a very icy character, too straight laced and way too serious for her own good, and that is normally the case when you encounter her during her events, such as JROTC and her sports, mainly swimming. However, she kind of opens up when she is relaxed and then switches to a friendly and open personality, and often can talk about various topics and events for a good session of time, although she is often noticeably guarded about several things mostly relating to her home life and her personal issues
Sexual Orientation: "0" on Kinsey Scale
Moral Alignment: "Lawful Good" Alignment
Personal Skills: Very athletic, well adjusted to sports, hiking and other long distance activities. Excellent swimmer. Intelligent and socially savvy. Good at reading and writing. Knows a bit of Krav Maga martial arts and knows how to fire a gun, mostly through shooting lessons and her dad teaching her.
Personal Vulnerabilities: Susceptible to following blind orders without question, even when it is wrong. Susceptible to peer pressure. Has a wound up and strict sense of black/white morality and actions, which sometimes leaves to big misunderstandings and logic gaps. Not very good at reading or taking jokes. Sometimes freezes up and has a brain scramble when stressed and under heavy pressure. Flippant and selfish at times. Suffers from severe abandonment and loneliness issues due to her dad's long deployments when he was in the military. Also thinks and laments too much about things in the past and present.
Biography: Melissa was born February 17th, 2001 to a middle class suburban family with a long history with the US military in the seaside city of Bridgeport, Connecticut, the heartland of the New England region of the United States. She was brought up in a loving, stable household, and had grown a strong connection to her younger siblings, Quentin and Jackie when they were born a few years after she was born, Quentin in 2002 and Jackie in 2004 respectively. Melissa, from a young and impressionable age, had a strong interest in academics, reading, fiction stories and swimming and those interests developed into her hobbies over time. When she was old enough though, started taking regular swimming lessons and as a bonus when her dad came home on leave, taught her how to fire a gun and went to lessons on how to fight, mostly with the Israeli martial arts Krav Maga when she was 15, and grew to be excellent at swimming and decently knowledgeable in the martial arts. She, although she didn't want to admit it at first, was a straight laced daddy's girl.

Despite her dad, who was in the US Army, often being deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq because of the War on Terror and the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, she appeared on the outside to have managed that aspect of being the daughter and child of a serving US Army solider serving overseas, usually expressing hope that her dad is defending her country and in addition to her hobbies of reading and swimming, her biggest dream from a early age to follow in her dad's footsteps of joining the United States Army. Privately however, away from her mom and her siblings, she lamented about not seeing her dad for long periods of time and this overthinking eventually developed into her fear of abandonment and loneliness, as she grew a outright fear of losing her dad, as she loved him dearly and couldn't imagine living her teen life without him physically or mentally by her side, even after he was honourably discharged from the US Army in 2015, after major combat operations ended in Afghanistan.

In the meantime, she went though middle school and the early part of high school in Connecticut pretty well, and despite her doubts about the entire experience, managed to gain valuable insight into what high school was like both academically and socially, and combined with her heavy studying, managed to succeed quite well and get good grades, while also managing to keep up with her hobbies, mainly swimming and homework. However, her overthinking also led her into other issues that she developed in her early teens, which was that her sense of moral compass was a bit too straight, her too serious public face, her lack of joke taking skills and her tendency to follow people's suggestions and authority orders too fast. However it was the good grades and her increasing independence that lead her parents to decide to send her to a boarding school, and after seeing a few choices, decided to send her to Coastal Daytona Academy in Daytona Beach, in the sunny state of Florida. Although she thought about being away from her parents and home for too long, she accepted that she was going to a new school.

After she got accepted, she quickly joined up with the Army JROTC program at the school when she found out about it, and it was the first step to follow her big dream of going into the US Army like her dad was. Now, it was the first day, and it was about to be her first year in Coastal Daytona Academy.
RP Sample: Blake Holsey
Other: Daughter of Patrick & Jainie Walraven (Patrick a former US Army Specialist sent to Afghanistan and Iraq and now a Connecticut Army National Guardsman & Jainie a former US Navy Petty Officer that served on several Arleigh Burke-class destroyers in the 1990s). Older sister of Quentin and Jackie Walraven. A member of the Army JROTC Program at Coastal Daytona Academy.

I thought it was great. It took me a long time to introduce one character, so I cannot imagine having to show the personalities of three!

I always struggle with the first post, but the more I write a character, the better I feel about it.

The only thing I would say is, can every post mention the character's name, for everyone? I am going to be so confused when we get to page 4-5!

And yeah, I usually RP a little bit to get the proper personality of my characters down, unless I know them by heart already.

Name: Bethany Solo
Sex: Female
Gender: Female (Binary)
Grade: 10th
Role: Student (Softball Player)
Birthday: 10/24/2002
Hometown: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Appearance: See Image
Height, Weight, and Body Type: 5'7, 124 lbs, nimble
Personality: Cruel and aloof, but not completely disconnected. Bethany is the type to easily get bored, ever intent on finding new ways to entertain herself. This is harder than it sounds however because she finds most things either tedious or a waste of her time. She alternates between amusement and disdain throughout the day, though she hides it rather well behind an impressive poker face, seemingly playful teasing and snippy sarcasm (usually subtle digs that are hard to spot), and the image of a hardworking student athlete, with sports being one of the few things she genuinely enjoys. Second only to messing with other people as someone who takes pleasure in the distress of others.

Somewhat whimsical as a result in that she has been relatively successful in amusing herself at someone else's expense, usually by inserting herself into other people's drama or orchestrating harmful pranks, but even sometimes lending someone else a hand if its suits her own purposes. Mainly hangs around with the popular crowd (sporty students, cheerleaders etc) thanks to her looks and acquaintances within the school's varsity sports teams, which she's always willing to take advantage of.

Bethany is also Carmine's best friend and close confidant, having hit it off with the cheerleader as an almost kindred spirit, thoroughly enjoying the bullying of Timothy and other social outcasts as the blonde's partner in crime. Despite discovering early on the true reason behind the cheerleader's treatment of Tim, she finds great amusement in the interplay, opting to neglect informing her oblivious friend at the moment due believing it more interesting to let it just play out for now. The type to plan for the long run, it's not unusual for her to make short-term concessions or seemingly benevolent favors for long term gain, making her more of a independent thinker in that regard in that she's not shy in acting out her whims.

Somewhat superstitious too in that she's into astrology and horoscopes. Takes the individual signs rather seriously and frequently categorizes other people based those signs, often marking those who don't align with their respective zodiac as defective individuals. Often refers to herself as a scorpion in relation to her own sign, and her best friend as a lion, two predators on the prowl for prey.

Sexual Orientation: 2
Moral Alignment: Neutral Evil
Personal Skills: Spry and athletic. Physically fit and agile thanks to her softball activities. Bilingual with English and Spanish. Skilled in information gathering through her personal networks and social circles. Generally good at reading people, especially when it comes to motivations.
Personal Vulnerabilities: Manipulating. Vain and somewhat cowardly. Especially in regard to insects and her own self preservation. Prone to underestimating others and dependent on other people for her amusement. Incapable of handling solitude.
Biography: Bethany was born the only child of a travelling civil engineer from the mainland and a political consultant turned soccer mom, resulting in a home life was a neat and tidy, almost boring middle class affair in a traditional nuclear family. At this point, she was a girl that desired some variety in her life, a childlike wanderlust for new and exciting experiences, and in many ways, her wish was granted with the nature of her father's work that required frequent relocation with each new project. The time spent on her birth island was brief, only a few years at most, before her family packed up their bags and moved to the mainland, jumping from one state to the other throughout the years.

At first, Bethany enjoyed the experience of meeting new people and seeing new places all over the country. However, that sentiment didn't last. Again and again. And again. Over time, the repetition of acclimating to a new city, attending a new school, and making new friends started to wear on her, warping her perception of people and relationships. The sight of new locations became more and more mundane, gradually sapping away any childlike wonder she in her early years as she progressed through grade school and middle school.

She became increasingly detached and disconnected from people with the knowledge that she would only lose all the friends she by made the next move out, compounded by the growing boredom she felt with the daily machinations of life, seeking new ways to fill the void left behind by her formless, transitory lifestyle. The latter of which was accompanied with an equally growing resentment she felt towards her parents. With the constant relocation having largely desensitized her from the concept of social repercussions that came with permanence, she began taking out her bitterness on her situation on her peers, picking and prodding at them as a simple outlet at first, minor and subtle, but eventually turning into a recreational pastime all on its own that she took a strange liking too, largely sating her boredom outside of athletics.

This penchant for casual cruelty also taught her at an early age that people tend to really remember betrayal, especially when it was unexpected and from someone they trust. Word got around fast and several times her reputation took a nosedive in her various schools thanks to her activities, forcing her to adapt and somewhat mellow down in away that allowed her to enjoy herself without having it blow up in her face, slowly improving her modus operandi with every new school.

By the time her first year of high-school came around, her parents had chosen to settle in Daytona Beach, Florida on a more permanent basis. The idea of taking up roots in one place was a strange, but not unwelcome concept for her. The stability she was wanted had finally arrived, and, she quickly acclimated to her new environment with a modified mindset, in some ways treating it as a new hunting ground, but also as a new home.

There where she found kinship with a certain blonde cheerleader, who she recognized as a fellow predator after seeing through the other girl's public mask early on. In many ways, she is more attached to her new friend than she realizes, and perhaps more invested in the personal drama of others beyond simple amusement than she would care to admit. What's certain is that she is bound stir up trouble in the upcoming years as a wildcard with her own agenda.

RP Sample: Same as previous apps.
Other:
  • She is attracted to Carmine. Whether that extends into something else, that remains to be seen.
  • Can get strangely political at times.
  • Into random trivia and history.

Accepted. Welcome to the RP Bethany.

Name: Alexandra L.M. Brenan
Sex: Female
Gender: Female (Cisgender)
Grade: 9th
Role: Student
Birthday: February 1, 2002
Hometown: Biloxi, Mississippi
Appearance:
Image

Height, Weight, and Body Type: 5'4, 109 lbs, below target but not dangerously underweight.
Personality: Kind of shy and reserved but otherwise approachable and friendly when you get to know her. Flairs of a tomboy streak and a girly feminine side both shape her as an individual. She's also inquisitive and curious.
Sexual Orientation: 0
Moral Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Personal Skills: Writing, gardening, photography. English in general is a strong subject of hers as well, even though she speaks with a noticeable Southern twang.
Personal Vulnerabilities: Shameless procrastinator, she just loves putting things off to the last minute with a bit of a "go at her own pace" type even under activities that require promptness. That being said she's usually very punctual when it counts.
Biography: Alexandra who simply goes by Alex (what a surprise) has spent her life along the gulf coast in Mississippi. From a working class blue-collar family all around with her father and her twin-brother both working as gulf-coast fisherman and her mother a cashier, aunt and uncle and cousins (whom she's close with) farmers. With a family pedigree like that she wears her working class colors loud and proud even if she's been picked on for being a poor kid.

Hurricane Katrina hit her family particularly hard though being only three at the time she doesn't have much memory of it. At age 13 she got interested in both photography and writing ever since she got a camera for a gift and learned how to type, which she struggled with at first but improved with practice. Though she's not certain she'll be a professional she does think of it as a hobby. She also enjoys gardening as it's an activity her mom and her both do together. Money is usually tight in the family as her mom works only part time with most of the burden falling on her father and brother to make ends meet in the family. Alex has a twin brother named, Jacob. As children the two were close and spent a lot of time together but by the time they were 13 the two began to drift apart into their own things. Jacob became her polar opposite even getting into trouble with the law and quitting school, while she stayed the straight and narrow and has kept in school.

As one of very few Asian-Americans in Biloxi, Alex has closely associated herself more with the African-American crowds more than Caucasians. While she doesn't try to be outwardly prejudice, it has shaped her perception of other races and has somewhat jaded her perspectives a little.

Other: Used to suffer from Astraphobia into her early teens. Gradual acclimation on her own has helped her shed the phobia but sometimes it still bothers her.

Yes. Specifically, that was Shannon.

Don't worry--I'm not much for the headers with names and such, but after their names are first said, they're included in the posts from then on.

Ah. Just wondering I’ve been sitting on a ready post for almost twelve hours now and three days since I posted my third app. Getting a bit restless waiting for the final approval.

I do apologize for that delay, as we have been having family over since Tuesday ahead of the Thanksgiving Holiday at my house. Yet, as Vaq has stated earlier, you are officially accepted.
