She went to local Roxbury Charter High and here grades were good enough to warrant scholarship at the MiT. It was in college when she started writing Science Fiction, and her work was soon recognized in Science fiction community. In 2016. she joined the Progressive party, disappointed by inner party turmoil in the wake of presidential election and its reluctance to support more left-wing measures. In the three months as a Senator she tried to push a Bill that would give more state financial support for public libraries. It is rumored that she might run for Class 1 Senate seat in 2018 or for gubernatorial seat same year.
