NS Nation Name: Uttland
Character Name: Romanos Timotheos Papadopoulos IV, better know as R.T. Papadopoulos
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 59
Character Role: Candidate for Delaware Senate Seat (2018), Businessman
Appearance: above
Height: 5'9
Weight: 164.3 lbs
Character State of Origin: Delaware
Character State of Residence: Delaware
Character Party Affiliation: Republican
Main Strengths: Fierce conservative, no political experience so no major contreversies, outsider, good orator, ambitious, and businessman.
Main Weaknesses: No political experience, basically a nobody, conservative in liberal state, and thin skinned.
Biography:R. T. Papadoupolus IV was born on March 11, 1958 as the eldest child to recently immigrated Greeks. His parents started a grocery store/deli in their neighborhood in Dover, and it was moderately successful. Growing up, he got the impression he would inherit the grocery store and run it. So, when went to the University of Delaware, he got his degree in Business Management. His involvement in politics began in 1976, when he voted for Gerald Ford, mainly becuase his parents were Conservstive and he grew up such values. Though heavy involvement didn't begin until 1980, in the waning years of college and when he graduated, when R.T. used any of his free time to volunteer for the Reagan campaign in Delaware. He called homes, printed pamphlets, all the usual campaign. Meanwhile he met many friends who would drift even more conservative; overall Papadoupolus would rate his time volunteering for the campaign as the best time of his life. It was around this time his friends introduced him to his wife, Tammy, a wedding and special events photographer. They hit it off almost immediately, and in five years they would be married. Papadoupolus volunteered for the Reagan campaign again in 1984. On the business side, Papadoupolus fully inherited the business when he was 27, just married. Now, he could've kept it a small scale local grocery, but he was ambitious. He changed the name from "Papadoupolus Greek Grocery and Deli" to "Papa Roma's" in homage to his father. The original store was expanded massively, and the deli section completely changed; it became more of a traditional grocery store, and ready-to-go deli specials section was added, stocked with popular dishes like gyros, stuffed pitas, spanakopita, etc. it was a hit, and soon enough more Papa Roma's were in Dover, and eventually most of Northern Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Southwestern New
Other Info: Greek Orthodox. Married to Tammy Papadoupolus. 3 children; Romanos Timotheos Papadoupolus V; Nina Adriana Papadoupolus; Giorgos Achim Papadoupolus.
Jersey. At its height, "Papa Roma's" reached 21 stores, though today it's settled around 19. Throughout the 80's and 2000's, Papadoupolus was unconcerned with politics, focusing more on business. Eventually, he sold all shares in his company, giving the position of CEO and President to a trusted business partner in 2010. Now retired, he got involved in politics again, stumping for local conservative candidates and donating to such campaigns. In local tv stations he's giving his opinions not eh economy, and on local newspapers he's written op-eds from immigration to the economy, all conservative. R.T., a bit restless of just watching and cheering politics from the sidelines, Papadoupolus decided to run for Senator; though the odds against him, since all Republicans running in Delaware are simply fodder, Papadoupolus believes he can be the one who can turn Deleware red.
