Physical Description:Xhotol's body is quite tall for one of his kind with his hight being 8,2, he also has a peculiarly long neck which many of his peers believe is because of his family having genes from other branches of the Saurian race. His scales are blue and yellow with one large yellow stripe coming down from his forehead all the way down his body. His arms and legs are also unusually long. (What the character looks like)
Biography:Xohtol was born to a family of lizards as an only child, an oddity for the Saurian species, due to a genetic condition on his mothers part, this attributed to the peculiarity of Xhotol's features. His farther a famous TV director attempted to cover up his son as much as possible as seen as he was a member of a small group of raptor descendants who believed that the purity of the various Saurian races was paramount and if his colleagues were to discover the fact that his own son was a genetic abomination as they put it he would most likely be kicked out of the group. So thee fore Xhotol did not only grow up in isolation but also with the constant insistence of his farther that he was abomination, this began to brew an intense bitterness within Xhotol and also lead to him quit emotionally cold. After about 8 years Xhotol's farther was arrested for threatening the unity of the nation by associating himself with genetic purity groups. It is unknown who reported Xhotol's farther to the police but it is noted that a rather unusual looking raptor child was seen outside of a police station on the day before the arrest. After the arrest of his farther Xhotol was the inheritor of the families rather large fortune due to his mother dying early on in his life. He used this money to attend some of the most prestigious schools throughout the empire where he took a business focused education.

After graduating Xhotol used what was left of his monetary reserve in order to set up a large shipping company know as the Imperial trading company. At first business was rather slow however soon the company was quickly becoming one of the richest in the world with it's influence being felt in nearly every sector of Saurian industry. In this time Xhotol did not start up a family or any kind of personal relationships for as he said in many interviews that the company was all the family he needed however he actually viewed the company as one big middle finger up to his now deceased farther. Now the company is beginning to fail as the global economy is beginning to go into rescission due to the mass global cooling and Xhotol now desperate to save the company turns his eyes towards Earth. (get familiar with the culture a bit first and with the objectives of part one of the RP.)

Welcome to the RP. I commend your application and enjoyed the read.

Excellent now I can begin buy entire nations.

What's the flora and fauna on Sauria, what do they eat? What's their cattle? Would they enjoy the taste of human flesh?

Are there any unique resources on Sauria that Earth doesn't have, also what kind of technologies do the Saurians have.

Sauria is abundant in conifers and cycadophytes with giant horsetail and clubmosses also being noted around river deltas and alike locations. Ferns, and palms can also be noted as being present. Some flowers also exist.

Fauna wise their is a species of great flightless bird utilized for meats along with some herd animals- triceratops or woolly mammoths for example, though an evolved version of the triceratops do exist. Prior to unification this was used as justification for demeaning them but now doing so would be taken like, for example, calling a man of color a monkey.

Other fauna include giant snakes, various fish, and arthropods- a few small lizards.

In regards to mammals their is a feline species of saber cats in the tropical and plains regions of the planet. As on Earth, a number of marsupials exist on Sauria. Mammals are looked upon in a fashion similar to how most Earth people look at reptiles; they are strange beings from some long gone era.

It's generally believed that Great Mammals where unable to, due to sweat dehydration combined with frequent intakes of food in the warm ecology, able to survive Sauria's prehistoric era. Other theories for why 'Giant Sloths' (as Earth people would call them) are not around, is that early Saurians hunted them to extinction. Great Mammals inspired monster stories akin to our own legends of Dragons.

Mammals, like Reptiles on Earth, still exist on Sauria; though not nearly in as much diversity as can be found on Earth.

I hope you can come up with some more details regarding it- some elaboration- some more definitive response. But this should provide an outline. As for 'Would Humans taste good?' I can assure you that such a question will likely be asked if it hasnt' been asked already by someone on Sauria.

As Sauria was populated with stock from prehistoric Earth the resources are largely the same though obsidian and other volcanic resources are more abundant. Technology wise Saurians never developed an internet. Rather they rely heavily on Cabal based TV networks for information, and such networks have a large dominion over what the public sees- though they are regulated by the government as described above. Armaments have largely developed during this era of peace to fit peacekeeping roles with sonic, and stun technology being highly developed. Technology for detention of dissidents has also been expanded upon with Magnetic Cuffs, tracers, shock collars, muzzles, mass pacification electrical discharge devices, and some gases being used.

They do have 'cards' they can insert into 'mobile phones' that contain videos, information resources (like a card on Biology), etc. These cards are their equivalent of what Earth people might call 'apps'.

Heaters have been recently increasing in sales along with 'heated sleeping slabs' and the like- though this energy consumption, combined with the cooling of the planet (which relies mostly on geothermal power) has caused an energy crisis in some regions of the Empire.

Nuclear Fission was invented some time ago as a power alternative, and in this time of crisis has become a viable alternative. Though it's held back by 'Big Geo' which has been propagating concerns over nuclear waste, and radiation.

Hydro and Solar are not viable due to the thick skies that have been forming due to the planet's long volcanic activity in the past, and due to the icing of seas which has hindered the construction of hydro stations (and of course disrupted shipping and tourism).

Analogue is still used on Sauria, which has not had a digital age.

That is rather brilliant, as Sauria has plants who medicinal properties are unknown to the Earth. For all we know some combination of Terrestrial and Saurian material could yield the cure for cancer.

I will also have to be quite careful when setting foot on the planet as seen as both worlds may have not only have incredible cures but they may also contain horrific diseases which could lead to scenario similar to that of when the europeans first landed in America.

True; it's likely Sauria is home to some rather aggressive parasites that I'm sure would be agonizing to a Human. Plus Earth's own tropical regions have proven home to some horrible ailments- so Sauria probably has it's fair share as well; though more abundant. What Earth would have is more cold resistant ailments then Sauria has, and such would be the danger to a Saurian. That or some 'reptile only' illness from Earth; though Saurians are not always fully reptile. Still it's something to consider.

SAURIAN
Character Name: Teyrance
Saurian Ancestry: Archaeopteryx
B.R.A.: Male
Physical Description: Teyrance is mostly featherless save for the top of his head, chest, back legs, winged arms, and feathered tail. His bones are quite fragile but such is the nature of avians. He wears a harness of sorts, and light weight skin suit (kind of like what Humans would go to the beach in). It's blue while the harness is green or black- sometimes Teyrance wears a grey or white suit. Teyrance himself is grey feathered and skinned. His clawed talons allow him to firmly grip a variety of surfaces.
Biography: Even among Saurians Teyrance and others like him are a minority. Thanks to the educational nature of media Teyrance is aware quite a bit about how 'mystical' his people use to be seen as. In fact there was a time when his kind where seen as myth. Well, at least his Archaeopteryx decended half. His mother was Pterodactyl in build, and his father of the Archaeopteryx variety. Of his three clutch mates (siblings) only he and a sister turned out having feathers. Their was a fifth in the incubator but that one never hatched. Teyrance has been interested, due to his own people's mystical nature in the past- in lore and legend; which media has largely left behind. He enjoys history regarding the time in Saurian history before the Empire; learning how the various nation states use to interact with one another and how under the Empire they have come together.

This interest soon branched upon learning of Earth, and he's been fascinated with it. Namely the people in regards to their society and culture. While he schooled to be a technician sociology in relation to history has always been a hobby, even as he presently works on repairing energy lines. He'd love to interview and socialize with a native of that world if only to discover how similar they are to Saurians or how they differ.

I'd rather not go into great detail but it's safe to say that 'transitional' creatures will be less common. As in the featherless ones will be more common.

Edit: That's a neat one! (I'm still getting use to dinosaurs with Feathers as way back in the 90s (not that far backbut still) we had depictions very different from those of today so it's always cool to see what's going around now a days)

Bird sloth best dino

I'm torn between these guys, and am thinking of either being the last guy or Elriansaurus (as they are the least birdlike, but arguably the most mammalian of the dinosaurs). His background is basically a chill Steve Irwin, having both a background in psychology and a love for animals (mainly mammals), which may prove both unique and amusing.

Last question: Monogamy or Polygamy, which is dominant?

Would you like to have Teyrance come on the Imperial trade company's expedition to Earth as a diplomat.

I agree with your assessment regarding the Elriansaurus. The last one is a better option of those two.

Due to civilization monogamy is dominant.
