Out of curiosity, if Ted were to ask assistance in ruling his realm to the hegemon or Ulls char would he be denied, and what would happen?

They're trying to get a deal where in return for helping the real government to regain control, we are given full independence and are allowed to spread Yamatzon in Yekrenia.

Hmm, well, Yekrenia was a fairly universalistic society. So they might allow you some degree of autonomy, but between the state being largely atheistic and Koba actively wanting to spread Eastern Orthodoxy, I don't think they would take those terms as is unless the geopolitical situation changed.

Could you RP the meeting for me?

Someone would probably kick Norsca over a letter noting that the Scots were about to be one more of a threat, but that’s about it.

Depending on a number of factors. If I win my civil war, would more than likely come to the Scotts aid as Egp would probably fight Norsca in Ireland and help build a sphere to counteract the Imperium.

If I lose, then the idea will be the same, but more caurious with the intention of nationbuilding and trying to have a counterbalance of Imperial influence.

Though it all depends on a lot of things.

Perhaps so, well I'm just going to be a fairly passive Christian planning to adopt technology from multiple nations. I'll be the middle east's Armenia, where I'll adopt both American and European culture and technology.

Yeah, trying to gather the good ideas from each side, however rather than adding the culture instead try and meld it into a single cultural identity, similar to how the Armenians ended up. A multiculturalism attempt is to much of a hassle though, since a single cultural identity is almost always preferred.

To be fair, Ted isn't going to run his mouth on ideals. He wouldnt get much friends if he did. I mean if he's in a position to safely push it he will, but as long as it'll potentially risk his position, then he'll avoid raising a fuss.

He wouldn't care for Ted's idealism, not going to be hostile to it, but just won't care for it. He would be even more focus on Ego and trying to make something out of his country, fighting the threat of the Imperium and her allies, and actually having peace for once.

Nah, don’t sweat it. My SO is in town, and family, and I’m snowed under at work. Hopefully I will be able to post Monday or Tuesday, but no promises, so don’t wait up.

So could you give me a brief outline for how I should RP it?

Sure. Presumably you’ll make your offers to suspicious Yekrenians, due to the ongoing conflict, and they will be dismissive of your aid as unnecessary. Bargaining will follow, but they’ll reject full autonomy for people who, they feel, should be Yekrenian citizens. Probably some reciprocal military threats and anger at the ongoing raiding by the people of Yamatzon.
