Quick (and bad) post up for Daenerys and Rhaenys in King's Landing. General plotting to subvert Rhaegar's Vale ambitions.

Can assume:
- Rhaenys wrote to most major lords, inviting them to send their daughters and also their sons to Court with the implication of marriage (both for her and Daenerys but also among each other) but also courtly positions for the ladies. She also intends to host a series of tourneys for the celebration of her aunt's nameday.
- Rhaenys is appealing to Elia Martell and Tywin Lannister for help in subverting Rhaegar's ambitions and arranging a better marriage. Rhaenys will name-drop Lancel Lannister, Red Rhaegar, and a few other men. She will deliberately not mention Loras Tyrell.
- Rhaenys does have a lover, a minor ser from the Crownlands.

So I suppose tags for the Lannister player and also for the Martell player and the Tyrell player in that case.

I will get another post up tonight, hopefully, with Rhaegar and Aegon at the Wall.

Slight correction: the Blackmonts are not Rhaenys' handmaidens.

Rhaenys wrote to most major lords, inviting them to send their daughters and also their sons to Court with the implication of marriage (both for her and Daenerys but also among each other) but also courtly positions for the ladies. She also intends to host a series of tourneys for the celebration of her aunt's nameday.

Handmaidens for a royal would be decided primarily by the king himself (with family taking priority, then regional vassals, then anyone else) with the woman getting only as much say as the king allows, though she would possess the right to dismiss those she wished (within reason, though rumours of - sexual - misconduct would be enough in most instances).

The tourney would have be arranged/hosted by a male (be it the king or Hand if it is to held at KL, or a lord - ruling lady - at their own seat) as a point of note.

well Tywin would probably have been able to win a Lannister as one of the princesses companions. Maybe one of the Tyrell’s brood. Failing that a crownlander would be a safe bet. A Stokeworth (perhaps not Tanda but Lollys would be a funny encounter)

If you're referring to this "And that's where Tywin would kill his involvement with this ploy.", no, that's not what he meant. He meant he was going to distance himself from whatever Rhaenys was planning and "kill it" under the belief he is integral to what she is planning, given the letter requiring his help.
