Its like a sheep, and or a goat, but with weird looking horns.

I'll leave that to your imagination...

Alright, cool. Otherwise I totally would have had Jarn study hunting; he just lacked any forests with game in them to practice in.

Why would you need to hunt? I’m here.

True, but I bet the multiplicative effect of multiple hunters chasing prey will give much better results against larger creatures. Plus it'll likely be the prerequisite for combat skills later, which is kinda Jarn's thing.

Mouflons (slightly different spelling to Hark's creature) are the common ancestor of modern sheep and goats.

It's cool- you actually said mouflon once, when describing the herd, then switched to moufon for the action descriptions.

Also, question: could Jarn obtain a small amount of meat during the course of training his skill at hunting, representing how he is now a hunter as of the end of the afternoon? His first skill, a small mouflon he isolated from the herd, or something like that?

Olth, if you want, Jarn would ICly be interested in trading bits of the mouflon to Ussur for bits of fish- it won't effect our characters mechanically, but from a RP standpoint having a meal of varied meats would probably be preferable to fish or mutton alone.

Hmmm, you'd might be able to catch some baby Mouflon left behind by the speeding herd...

I'll be updating the tech tree shortly, thought its unlikely you'll learn any of this in the near future.

Ah, but without herding, I’m basically restricted to eating it right?

By the way, when you explore an area, you can give it a name.

You can also name the various sites of the area.

But if they’re just sheep/ram things, I don’t need backup. Plus, we still need a balanced diet, and you can forage in the Northwest or Northeast.

Oh, Apple? I think the mouflon are in Eden, moving north-west; not actually in the north-west region.

Will the Moufon still be there tomorrow? Or is it just one day event?

Oh, and I forgotten to do an action for the afternoon yesterday, can I still do something? I was intending to Forage some fibers for it, you know, to weave ropes.

Ah, no problem. Feel free to use that action, however, the foraging action requires a forest, and there is none of those in eden. Each forest offers something different to forage, and you can learn what said forest has the first time you search it.
