Anyone want to interact with Iola? Also what are the directions of the groves, as in the OP they only listed by number?

Note that you Don't need to wait on replies from me, unless you are exploring or interacting with the environment (Including neutral/hostile nomads).

Also, feel free to post all actions for the first day.

You’re saying you can deny a poor hapless child food?

You're certainly managing it. If he wants fish, he can trade for it, like anyone else.

Cannibals in Eden. It isn't even day two.

Lets go with 3 Meat, 1 Human Leather and 1 Skull. You can use skulls to decorate your home.

G-Tech, if we kill someone, you can have the 2 meat. I want the leather for a coat.

And I'm not role playing a starving/impoverished person. At least until the trees are exhausted, charity is an unnecessary and expensive habit. Service for food, or barter for food, are entirely different stories, though.

Honestly, I think we should trade the meat to Ussur for bait in exchange for fish. Human meat probably comes with insanity and nasty diseases, knowing Hark.

Sounds logical to me. That’s how I felt about Jarn’s action harvesting bananas suddenly being halved in effectiveness. I didn’t mean to have him spend this morning stabbing miscreants, but sometimes these things just happen.

WIP
Name: Simon Charles Mcgucket
Gender: Male
Appearance: Mid 20's. Well kept, white hair. Full beard. Blue eyes. Caucasian.
Skills: Foraging
Items: (Fine Clothes, Leather Bag, or Bronze horn), Pickaxe
Memories: Simon was a member of Clan Mcgucket, a fact remembered in part because his name was etched or sewed on an item brought along during the treck from home. Before becoming a nomad, following the fall of his homeland, Simon was a learned intellectual. Though if he worked in governance, business, or study, he is uncertain. He recalls playing the role of negotiator/ trader during the groups treck, but how big or long that role was he isn't sure. He does recall being against breaking the mirror and enlarging the crack for water though. He hopes to remember more of his past and looks forward to learning more about this new land.

To be fair, we talked about violently defending that area several times, and you did give fair warning.

We're already ganging up to eat and use the skin of a child for a coat. And way you're in a different grove apple I'm pretty sure you're too far away to join in.

Nah, it's the same area, and I got my action refunded.

Call me a sore looser but that seems kinda meta-gamey (Its a word if I say it is god damn it). Any way its midnight here so could we delay my murder and consumption until morning.

Them be barbaric times.

Personally, I’ll just be happy if Temet clears off. A single combat round should give Jarn still enough time in morning to harvest two fruit. Or Opal can harvest while Jarn uses his map to find a better place for hunting.

It’s cool, I’m sure Hark will let you escape to somewhere nice. And if not, get reincarnated with good stuff.

Ah, Perhaps it is a source of confusion. Eden is 1 area with multiple resource sites. Since it is early game, I'm all right with folks changing their mind on their first turn as they are getting the rules, especially if it is one that has absolutely no benefits.

The Rabbit action would enable Temet to escape to a neighboring area and possibly explore it in the afternoon.

Yep, that’s what I figured. Temet will escape, unless Apple feels like pursuing. And combat rounds are conducted separately from the morning/afternoon/night cycle I presume?

Is it still Morning? Then I will change Iola's action to morning. Also, Temet can feel free to go to Iola's grove; she isn't one to think about cannibalism lest she feel queasy.

Well, its day 1. You can post for morning, afternoon and night. The only limitation is that one should not go past the current date to make sure people stay in synch.

That must be one strong banana tree there :p
