• Master Swordswoman: Born with a natural aptitude for the way of the sword, she especially excelled in using Japanese style swords such as Katanas, Wazikashis, and more. She is able to wield a sword with incredible proficiency in speed, power, and skill, allowing them to perform feats such as stopping and deflecting bullets, decimating large obj
  ects or areas, cutting through solid material such as steel, and even hold back their strength to deal damage to their foes without killing them.
• Peak Human Agility, Reflexes, and Speed: Hayate is able to tap to the fullest potential of the human body in terms of agility, reflexes, and speed. This allows her to close in on her enemies far faster than the average human and help with protecting herself from incoming attacks should be caught in the open.
• Edged Limbs: In connection to her ability to change into a Katana herself, Hayate can apply her edge to various parts of her arms and legs, from her fingernail to the entire length of a limb. This allows her to be never without a weapon and effectively use her limbs as dagger or swords to deflect or parry attacks coming her direction. In addition, the ability has practical uses as it makes her capable of forgoing the use of scissors and knives in everyday use.
• Avenger Pact: Should her current chosen wielder die while she is in sword form, Hayate can choose to avenge the fallen by continuing to fight on and turn the corpse into a sword based of their nationality. Their durability varies from person to person, but at most will only be half as durable and sharp in comparison to herself as a Katana.
• Katana Transformation: Self-Explanatory, she can turn into a Katana. In this form, she is capable of cutting through steel with ease and is a thousand times more durable than the best quality steel created by man.

Ability/Abilities (Sword Form):

• Sentient Weapon: Becomes one when transformed into the sword. By fully grasping her hilt, Hayate can communicate telepathically to the current person holding her.
• Spatial Cut: As a sword can slice through the fabrics of the third dimensional space, splitting apart the fabric of reality. Any physical matter or energy caught within the severed spatial area will be cut. Since this is a spatial attack that distorts the fabrics of reality, there is no physical defense against it. The blades can appear very quickly, with very little to no lag between the attack and damage. However, it's main limitation is the fact that it can only affect the surrounding within her wielder's cutting range with the tip of the blade.
• User Link/Special Pact: When being used by a wielder, Hayate can effectively lend her abilities with a sword to her user if she feels that she's being used by an inefficient user. For those that is chosen by Hayate, it allows them to use Spatial Cut and is given peak human agility, reflexes, and speed to show the current bond. In the case that she's wielded by an enemy or someone she doesn't like, can actively try to access their muscular system and lock it up to prevent them from moving.

Flaws:

• Someone Always Better: Her abilities and technique can only get her so far in life and in combat situations. While she can take on stronger, faster, much more durable opponents than her, her likelihood of being defeated increases.
• User Feedback: Connected to her chosen current wielder, she feels every pain induced to them. The only way to bypass this is through transforming into her Katana form, however as a trade off is entirely dependent on another individual for transportation and being used to her fullest potential.
• Glass Cannon: Despite being able to dish out considerable damage against her foes, cannot say the same for ability to take hits. One normal punch is all it would take leave her on the ground in pain, unable to continue to further in a conflict. Then there's also the same vulnerabilities of normal humans that is capable of killing her, from sickness to the common bullet she couldn't dodge.
• Morality Conflict: While perfectly fine of goading other people into killing others and taking a life in active, Hayate has the difficulty of finishing someone off. Should she ever be brought to the point of choosing whether or not to kill someone that isn't willing to fight or is incapacitated, will most likely leave her horribly indecisive and locking her in place unless snapped out of it. In doing so, it leaves her vulnerable to surprise and counter-attacks.

Personality: Generally outgoing, she will only act hostile should someone gain her ire. This can be done hurting her chosen wielder in any way or form, whether it be physical or mental. Once friends with her, the same applies to them. When it comes to possible romantic relationships, Hayate will always be on the reluctant side, due to her experiences she went through when she was held captive. With no qualms with killing, she has formed a twisted nature of honor around it. Believing that those that dare stand in her way to be worthy of death, but feels that taking arms against someone that can't fight back should be left alone even if they have the potential to become a threat later on. And so, for the most part, tries to get others to do it so she doesn't have to.

Biography: Orphaned at a young age, she was instead left to be the charge of a Kendo instructor, who began to teach her ways of the sword by the time she was five years old. Like a fish taking to water, she quickly excelled in her training and had completely surpassed her instructor by the age of eight years old. Impressed by his pupil, Hayate would find herself entered into various tournaments for kendo, accumulating multiple accolades in a relatively short amount of time. Now gaining the attention of other schools, she was overwhelmed with offers of transferring to they’re respective schools. But declined all of them, feeling a mixture of a familial bond that connected them and loyalty toward her master’s school, being the only student learning under him at the time. Overall, it was a happy life that would seemingly last for the rest of her life, even being given the chance to study at a public school after only being home schooled by her instructor. It was until it didn’t.

Shortly after her tenth birthday, Hayate was kidnapped by a villain hired by one of the rivaling school heads in order to get revenge for the humiliation he felt losing to such a small school. The grudge aimed towards her legal guardian, the villain was told not cause any harm to her as the rival school master still had his morality to upkeep. Regardless, the villain took advantage of the time with her, performing various sexual acts on her and beating her multiple times to near unconsciousness. His boss disgusted with the acts his hired help has committed, planned to end the contract early and not pay in full. Overhearing this, resulted in the most predictable way possible, the villain killing his employer and the rest of his student. No longer held back by any authority, he continued his abuse for months on end, until from the stress of the torture, Hayate transformed into her Katana form for the first time. Intrigued by this sudden change, tried to wield her, only for her to response by locking up his muscular system until the villain no longer desire to hold her. His source of enjoyment drying up quickly, switched over to a new target. Her master.

Setting a trap, the villain attacked her master, only to be surprised by the fighting capabilities of the aged man. Revealing himself to be a former hero, turned the tables without much effort, inquiring about his student. Knowing he's beaten, gave up the blade and told him about her current state of being. Upon their reunion, transformed back into her human form and embraced the only person she knew to be her family. At that moment, the young child could have let go of the anger, hate, and desire for vengeance she felt for the man that made her life for the past few months hell. And would have done so, had he not launch an attack to kill them. Her reflex, agility, and speed peaked to the to full potential of a humans and launched a counter in a blink of an eye. Applying an edge to entire right arm, parried the attack and proceeded to slice off both of the villain's arms from below the elbow. Fire in her eyes, Hayate prepared to finish the man off, only for her instructor to tell that it was enough. Unable to let go, stabbed through the man his chest and sliced her way out, making sure that her hand would cut his heart in half. Hands covered in blood, this event would drive a wedge between them, as the following months saw her go through extensive therapy and a more traditional master/student relationship. Unfortunately, no more than seven months after the event, the burst of energy by her master causer him to perish an early death. There, she would turn the first person she was connected to into a sword, his body transforming into a weathered katana. All of this despite the rocky relationship they went through the last few months, still showed the bonds that they formed.

A year would pass, placed in an orphanage, nothing to do than to attend school and hope that she would soon get out. Age twelve, a foreign family would be the ones to adopt her, sympathetic through the trauma she survived. A Bulgarian-American couple, her new home brought her to the states where she met their other adopted son, Apostol. A shy boy, they got along well enough, having a couple of arguments between them from time to time. Soon enough, she grew accustomed to the new way of living and learned English with some difficulty from lessons. Nevertheless, despite the normal life she lived, a certain part of her craved the taste of danger and desired for action to which she found in hunting down reported child molesters in her area. While the majority attempted to defended themselves, all ended nothing more than disemboweled corpses, the police feeling the need to step in once they saw a pattern appearing in these seemingly random murders. In conjunction with the FBI, they traced it all the way to her adoptive parent’s house and planned a raid. In meantime, Hayate felt fulfilled about the life she lived, both public and secret aspects of it. She has found another family. It just so happened that it would end on her fifteenth birthday. Raiding the house early in the morning, everything blacked out for her, only to come to with most of the law enforcement agents dead or injured, her adoptive parents riddled with bullets, her step-brother missing, and her hand wrapped around her weathered katana. Guessing what transpired, she planned to finish off those still alive, only stopping by the words that her late master told her. Being bogged down, she simply did her best to preserve her second family, once more turned their bodies into swords and left.

After killing more than a dozen of police officers and injuring twice as much, she was officially on then run. Managing to evade them for a whole three months, she would meet Rhianna and befriend the young woman, even convincing her to murder several of her former bullies to show loyalty. A companion gained, as soon as Rhianna graduated, they left to live on the road. It has been two years since then, and the Society has invited her to learn more about her powers.

Brief Biography: Meeting Hayate on her senior year in high school, the young woman enjoyed her company, becoming friends quickly. Hayate being her only friend and afraid of never being able to make another friend, clung on to her in any way shape of form. It just so happened that Hayate was looking for another wielder. And so, as a testament to her loyalty, had her wield Hayate and confront several bullies that caused her harm in the past. Goading on Rhianna to slaughter them all, she did so with little reluctance. Two years has passed and she has only become subservient to Hayate, developing a catchphrase of "The only person I need is Hayate." and her reclusive nature from high school only amplifying.

Discharge - Her body naturally absorbs and stores excess energy. Emotional instability and distress, or having been overcharged, can trigger an outward flow, which will increase in intensity as it continues. This is usually seen as arcing across her body, slowly developing into more of a lethal electrical storm

Pulse - A sudden rush of adrenaline, triggering what is commonly know as a "fight or flight" response, has been seen to cause this phenomenon. The subject may experience a black out during which her body will generate intense magnetic fields, releasing electromagnetic pulses until she is either incapacitated or entirely discharged.

Flaws:

- Water isn't fun.
- She doesn't know how to swim.
- Discharging can have adverse affects on her health, damaging her body.
- She isn't a fan of armor.
- Seriously, any conductive fluid sucks.

Police rush into the room, restraining her against the table and confiscating the animal for the second time.

The camera begins to display static, the audio becoming heavily distorted before the feed cuts out with screams.

She was recovered shortly by The Society, who removed all evidence of her from the scene of the incident, as from the crime she had failed to commit.

Something about it was off, since she had seemingly lived a pretty normal life until then. It was as though something in her had snapped.

But, to her, it was just as she wanted it to be.
