Sigma said,"We'll get you guys on the Pathfinder, and you'll just orbit, 'till the station's open." Switchblade popped out and said,"Yeah. That's what we'll do. Once we're in orbit, and have dropped you lot off, we'll head out on our next mission."

OOC POST

Postby Yekrenia » Sat Dec 09, 2017 7:34 pm

Name:
• (Sin.) Kletter
• (Plu.) Kletters
• (Adj.) Kletterian
Appearance/Physical Description: (images are appreciated)
• (Anatomy): Kletterian anatomy is quite identical to Homo Sapien anatomy; however, the Kletters are notable for four features not found in the Homo Sapien species. Compared to the average Homo Sapien, Kletters are rather distinctively lightweight (45kg to 55kg) and short (140cm to 160cm), and with their long and lean limbs, Kletters can be mistaken for a kind of hairless abominable form of Gibbon Apes upon first glance. In addition, due to the Kletter's short body and small frame, Kletters have lean limbs that are slightly longer than human limbs (usually two to three inches longer); however, because of their ectomorph body type and low body fat, Kletters are surprisingly difficult to distinguish between both male and female. Elsewhere, Kletters do not retain any nostrils or a nose, rather there is instead a small bump that naturally serves a tiny cavity (which acts as a secondary lung to create and regulate heat to the brain). Lastly, because of the dim lighting from Dasan's red-blue binary stars, Kletters have extraordinarily large eyes that are twice as big than those of the Homo Sapiens, granting the Pesetorians to adapt in environments with low or poor lighting; however, being that the two suns give off a weak red-bluish lighting, the Kletterian evolution of living in low lighting environments have reduced their sight to see 1/3 of the colours that an ordinary Homo Sapien can see, but the larger Kletterianeyes grant superior magnification, allowing them to see far away objects with two to three times the clarity than that of Homo Sapiens.
• (Visual Reference):
- Example Image #01 (Example Kletterian Female Black Ops Agent in a bunker with a few other humans)
- Example Image #02 (3D Generated Image of an Example Kletterian Female Commando Posing)
- Example Image #03
Technological Preferences:
• (Mass Drivers):
- Magnetic Acceleration Cannons (MAC; Big Cannons)
- 'Metal-Storm' Based Weaponry (Smaller Cannons and some Firearms)
• (Wormhole Travel):
- Jump Drives (Galleons and Dreadnoughts only)
- Wormhole Generator Stations
• (Solar Sail Sub-Light/FTL Travel):
- 3km to 60km Big Half-Circular 'Asian Fan' Shaped Sails
- Frontal Energy Shielding (Protection against Space Debris and Energy Weaponry)
Home World:
• (Name): Dasan
• (Apperance): Dasan (Seen from Space)
• (Description): Dasan is a habitable moon that orbits the second gas giant of the Dasan Star System. The landscape of Dasan is defined by mountainous taiga or jungle archipelagos, with the largest islands being approximately 700 to 1,000 kilometres in land mass. Islands that are not lushed with mountainous forests are hilly and with flat coast lines, making it ideal for building naval bases or coastal cities. There are no large inland bodies of water on Dasan, with oceans - and ice near the north and south poles - being the only major obstacles separating Kletterian nations from each other. Subsequently, on a side note, Kletterian military history is largely shaped by naval warfare, which thereby made the Kletters expert sailors both on water and eventually interstellar space.

Urban areas are defined as a combination of Germanic Neoclassicism Revival architecture with Art Deco architecture, with older or traditional skyscrapers constructed in a neoclassical fashion, and newer skyscrapers built in a Constructivism architecture. Skyscrapers are commonly constructed with concrete and steel, with titanium used exclusively in cities or structures built along or near the coast; however, traditional materials (e.g. Brick and Wood) are sometimes used when steel and concrete are not relatively available, and even then only structures of Vernacular architecture are commonly constructed of these materials. Kletterian infrastructure is unusual - if not also primitive to certain other galactical cultures - in which people actually get about via rail travel, with trolley and metro lines for city limits, high-speed rail travel for intercity limits, and hyperloops for international limits. Due to the vast oceans on Dasan, ocean travel is a common form of transportation, whether it be to transport passengers and freight on a local or international level. Lastly, a common feature found in towns, villages, and residential areas are narrow roads that are large enough for bikes and pedestrians to go about their way; however, through the industrialisation and mechanisation of warfare, Kletterian nation-states have adopted vehicles (tanks and APCs) that are small enough to traverse such small streets.
Resistances/Weaknesses/Abilities:
• (Extremely Agile and Maneuverable):
- Males are fast and capable climbers
- Females are naturally acrobatic and flexible
- Both Genders can navigate tight spaces and turns without stopping
• (Low Body Fat):
- The ectomorph body type of the Kletters cannot sustain as much fat compared to Homo Sapien bodies
- The Kletterian nasal lung works together with the metabolism to allow Kletters to think quickly while on the move (e.g Can respond to an incoming car two to three times sooner than a human)
- History of collectivist families and population control throughout Kletterian civilisations allowed the Kletters to avoid large scale famines
• (Accustomed to Big Collectivist Families and Groups):
- Average Kletter Female can give birth to two to eight children
- Archipelago nation-states isolated and protected cultures from easily blending with each other, thereby allowing monoethnical populations and the creation of super megapolis city-states
- The Kletterian fertility rate commonly creates large families, with some families having at most twenty (20) children
• (Accustomed to Poor or Low Lighting):
- Red and Blue binary stars - combined with the distance - create low lighting and poor ambience (Average Foggy Morning on Earth = Average Day in the Northern nation-states on Dasan)
- The large eyes of a Kletter can amplify low lighting up to 10,000 times (60,000 times lower than ordinary night vision goggles), which is enhanced by three additional lenses (granting a Kletter two to three times the clarity of a far away object than an ordinary human eye); however, bright lighting can severely blind a Kletter if flashed or suddenly directed in his/her direction
- Kletterian eyes have inferior colour sighting due to the poor/low lighting on Dasan, which only grants a Kletter the ability to see 3/5s of the colours that an average human can see (Average Human can see a million different colours); thereby rendering camouflage extremely useful in confusing and fooling an average Kletter
• (Lean Physique):
- Natural Ectomorph body type leaves Kletters with inferior durability (e.g. Average Human can with stand a strong sucker punch to the face with a bloody nose and/or broken teeth; however, the same sucker punch would leave an average Kletter with a traumatised nasal lung and immediate unconsciousness)
- It is not an uncommon occurance for Kletterian males and females be nearly or completely indistinguishable from each other, with the only notable difference if possible being breast size, voice, facial features, muscle composition, and/or sexual body parts
- Only some Kletterian males are naturally born with extra testosterone, which only 10% of the Kletterian population having muscular Kletterian males; however, there is a 3% chance that Kletterian Females are naturally born with extra testosterone
• (Lack of Smell):
- Having no nose also makes it impossible for Kletters to pronounce human nasal sounds ("M" and "N")
- Kletters have a high sense of taste to compensate their lack of smell; however, their sense of taste is especially reactive to sweet, sour, and spicy substances
- Kletters generate less stamina and breath than humans, which leaves Kletters with slower running and walking speeds; however, Kletters are otherwise extremely wary of their surroundings and clear minded thanks to their nasal lung regulating the heat in their brain
• (Beauty):
- Kletterian Females are renowned for either their cuteness or beauty, not only for their body and voices, but their eyes as well
- Kletterian Females are known for their display of grace and flexibility in dancing, especially in ballet and gymnastics; however, said beauty had been weaponised to create the deadly Kletterian Female Assassin and Commando Corps across many Kletterian civilisations
- Compared to Kletterian Males, which are born with black, brown, or blonde hair (and brown, green, or blue eyes), Kletterian Females come in a diverse variety of hair and eye colours; however, there is a small chance that Kletterian Males are born with a colour only found in Kletterian Females
• (Stable Emotional Mentality):
- Nasal Lung can regulate heat in the brain, granting Kletters a clear and focus mind even when on the run; however, as previously mentioned similarly in the lack of smell, Kletters loss their breath much sooner than humans when sprinting, starving, dehydrated, and/or sleep deprived
- Due to the collectivist family traditions and values in Kletterian civilisations, individual Kletters are moulded into being less important than the group, and subsequently being forced to be accepting to the demands of the group or else be discriminated, shamed, or vanquished at worst
- Most Kletterians Males are particularly calm and stoic, showing displays of enduring screaming/yelling and harsh insults multiple times for an entire day (whereas the average Human can become either frustrated, hostile, or helpless within a few seconds or minutes after being yelled or screamed at); however, not every Kletterian Male would react to such emotional and mental abuse with such forgiveness and subtle words

Sigma and Switchblade watched as Grin'vu walked into the distance. Sigma said,"They seem like nice folks. We'll keep 'em under watch, just in case." Switchblade replied,"Yep. Might be a good idea, although I doubt they're dangerous." Sigma said,"True, although we can't forget Longarm the Traitor." Switchblade replied,"Yeah. Still, they seem like nice people." Sigma nodded.

IC POST (Post 01)

Postby Yekrenia » Mon Dec 11, 2017 11:18 pm

Inside the once peaceful space filled with a mix of a dark abyss and the bright wonder of the stars came the faint lights from five ships of the DLN emerged. The largest ship - Alexander XII the Lawbringer - was the largest of the five ships that bared the largest solar sails, indicated by its three 60km long triangular-shaped mainsails adjusting at an angle of 30°. The other ships were expanding their sails out as well, along with the smallest ships - the sloops (Ilsa and Agata) - deploying their 10km long mainsail and speeding ahead of the other ships.

On board the bridge section of Alexander XII, Captain Waltherkith was having a mug of hot black tea while in his office attempting to relieve his body from the cryogenic sleep imposed on him and the entire crew - something expected of FTL travel via solar sails rather than wormholes. The claustrophobia of a cryogenic tomb was a phenomenon feared by every crew on every Kletterian ship, and not to mention that there were the infamous cases of the common sailor being froze to death while in their cryogenic hibernation. Though with the years-long sleep finally over, it was time for the Kletterians to get back to work and commence their exploration of a new star system; however, there was just one problem.

Captain Waltherkith's silence was interrupted by a few gentle knocks at his door, with his only response being a couple stern yet calm words, "Come in."

Lieutenant Eugekith entered in his office, though he stayed near the door as he brought Waltherkith the news, "Captain, all ships are back online with no losses; however, we have greater matters at hand."

"Go ahead." Waltherkith sighed as he set his mug down on his desk.

"The navigation corps has reviewed our coordinates, and we are severely off course from our original destination."

"Has the corps began analysing and comparing the planets in our known database?"

"No sir, that was impossible, not with the other computers still offline."

"Hmm..." Waltherkith grumbled in an inaudible yet discreet manner before speaking back in his previous voice tone, "In which case, how long do we have until we reach the nearest planet in this system?"

"Uhh...a few days, sir."

"Wonderful. In the meantime, commence with rebooting and diagnosis. I'll be back as soon as I can once my body recovers."

"I understand, sir. Be advised that the crew will be needing you soon. With all due respect, the fate of this exploration is in your hands after all."

"No need to worry, Eugekith." Waltherkith chuckled lightly while retaining his stern exterior, "Dying will always be my last wish."

Elsewhere on board Alexander XII the Lawbringer

Walthererstewib had long awoken from her bunk bed among the sleeping quarters, which was located in the midsection of Alexander XII. Being the eldest daughter of the Walther family, she was Waltherkith's oldest sister; however, that was not the mention that she was only considered half-sister. In contrast to her brother's blonde hair and green eyes, Walthererstewib had dark brown hair and blue eyes like her mother rather than her father (whom Waltherkith had inherited his physical traits from).

At 20-years-old, Walthererstewib was a mere 9-years younger than her brother (Waltherkith); however, that was not to mention that she had enlisted into the navy when she was 19-years-old, prior to entering cryogenic sleep. Unlike her brother, whom was the captain of Alexander XII, Walthererstewib was just a common sailor that only got to know her brother for a couple months before entering the cryogenic sleep. She knew her brother well as an illustrious naval commander - his discovery of several dozen other star systems and the overseer of each successful colonization earned Waltherkith the nickname, Waltherkith dakk Oprithek (lit. "Walter-Son the Founder").

Unfortunately, it seemed that Waltherkith made his work a hobby as much as it was his job. Though her brother was happy to see her when she first stepped aboard Alexander XII, Walthererstewib was surprise to find early on that her brother took greater priority and attention to his work rather than family. He had no wife and kids of his own just yet, but Walthererstewib had made some attempts prior to her cryogenic sleep to earn some family time with her brother; however, that was only better said than done, since Waltherkith was always doing something while voting whatever time he had to chat with his eldest sister.

So it came to no surprise that Walthererstewib wouldn't get to see her brother for the first couple weeks. She had awoken from cryogenic sleep yesterday and spent half of the previous day undergoing medical diagnostics and protocol following her awakening from cryogenic sleep. Now, here she was fully recovered and well, though it would be a while until she can properly hear from her brother - hopefully that he was well this morning.

For now, she had to fully get dress and get her morning going like many of the common sailors on board...

Elekon Space Port Command:
Scanner Technician Tuner was watching his scopes. He noticed something. He yelled for the executive officer of Command, Tripod,"Sir, we have an unidentified blip on the scopes. Can't tell what it is. It's quite large. It appears to be rather far away. I'm picking up a faint energy signal, maybe solar, but I can't tell." Tripod rushed over. He said,"My guess is it's a spacecraft of some sort. Try hailing it." Tuner nodded. He spoke into the mike,"Elekon Space Port Command to unidentified spacecraft, please identify yourself."

IC POST (Post 02)

Postby Yekrenia » Wed Dec 13, 2017 11:20 am

Alexander XII the Lawbringer was a galleon-class starship of the Kletterian DLN (Democratic Lavarian Navy; “Vjoorjase Volkssliff Hithelvloot”; lit. “Lavarian Democratic Navy”). In the DLN, as well as the Kletterian’s arsenal, the galleons are large transport vessels capable of hauling entire military divisions along with thousands of tons of equipment and materials to allow said armies to invade entire planets; however, when it comes to peacetime purposes, galleons are used as flagships for space explorations, with their large storage enough to supply Kletterian colonist with enough materials to build a city. Vastly dwarfing the second largest Kletterian ship, the Dreadnoughts, the galleons usually had three to six solar sails that offered speed and cargo space as true to the galleon’s ancient water-borne design; however, while Dreadnaughts are only the second largest ships in the DLN, Dreadnaughts are the most powerful Kletterian-made vessels, with five to seven sails and baring either the heaviest armour and weaponry or the most elite star fighter squadrons (usually held in the thousands of sometimes millions).

Thankfully, while Alexander XII carried enough military forces to defend a city, it was enough to at least give any extraterrestrial species the indication that the Kletterians are armed and not willing to give up their colonies so easily. Unfortunately, it came to Captain Waltherkith’s attention that somebody was already occupying this part of the galaxy, via a radio transmission that he was informed of not long ago. His body was still partially recovering from cryogenic sleep, so he was still wearing his greatcoat over his naval officer uniform. He had left his office to acquire upon the source of the mysterious radio transmission, hopefully knowing what the xenos on the other end were saying.

The bridge section was cramp, but there was no doubt that the officers on board were hard at work amid the confined space - which was nothing unusual to the Kletterians alike other species. Waltherkith’s presence wasn’t enough to divert everyone’s attention away from their duties, so it came to no surprise that Lieutenant Eugekith barked out loud to indicate Waltherkith’s presence, “Captain on the bridge.”

“At ease, ladies and gentlemen.” Waltherkith nonchalantly yet sternly nodded as he stepped through the reinforced metal sliding door leading into the bridge, “I hear we had someone or somebody flagging us down on the radio. Is that not correct?”

“Sir, we’re in the process of translating the transmission...” One of the communication officers reported while their peers remained at their stations, “...and it seems that the speech seems similar to our language.”

“Similar?” Waltherkith half-frowned as he walked over to the communication officer, “How exactly is Vjoorjase (Lavarian) similar to this xeno-speech in mind?”

“Well, we found a couple keywords among the speech that we recognize so easily.” The communication officer pointed out as he gestured for Waltherkith to see the translation in progress on the screen, “As you can see, we already know what the words ‘Port’ and ‘Craft’ mean; however, the rest of the speech will need some time to translate.”

“Carry on then.” Waltherkith nodded back, though not before saying one more thing, “In the meantime, send a morse code transmission to the opposing party. Tell them to hold off until we can translate their speech.”

“Jawohl.” The communication officer said back in a curt nod before Waltherkith walked to the center of the bridge to retain a good view of space outside.

Somebody had already occupied this place in mind, which was a shame for Lavaria’s colonial expansion; however, Waltherkith smelled an opportunity to expand Lavaria’s power and build a display of power that can show that the Lavarians were a interstellar colonial power to be recognized. Though instead of a civilization to be feared, Waltherkith knew that good neighbours made for a careful balance of control and friendship. These xenos who occupied this part of the galaxy may not be known just yet to Waltherkith and his expedition fleet, but he had some work to do once the speech was translated...

Name: Serka
Home world: Kaal'akka, a planet of millions of islands and clear, shallow waters.
Physical\mental characteristics: Serka are reptilian humanoids, with dragon like heads, and blood red skin. On average, Serka are quite tall, 8ft on average. They possess 2 huge wings on their back, long, lean limbs and retractable claws as long as a katana. Their forked tounges can sniff the air about them , picking up molecules in the air. They also have a great sense of electro-reception. Despite having no mental characteristics worth noting, they are famously hard to interrogate, being able to withstand torture very well, and it is practically impossible to squeeze info out of them if they don't feel like it.

Technological preferences: they like to dabble in the experimental, using their understanding of advanced quantum physics to create faster than light-speed engines (albeit still in the experimental phase). A conventional engine is powered by dark matter and antimatter. Weapons wise, they prefer to use computer viruses and engineered epidemics to kill foes, as they think war is a game best played from the shadows. But if they need to, they can use a huge fleet of Orbital Lasers (OL) that fire blasts of pure plasma down on enemy strongholds, vaporising them and the area surrounding region.
Government: the Serka are Liberal Democratic Socialists, among one of the most progressive. The current Leader of diplomatic affairs (basically the Prime minister) is Kolona Servelok.
Strengths:
.Practically perfect reflexes in every individual (because Serka don't have genders in the first place.)
.Geniuses in Quantum engineering, a new and experimental field.
. Sharp claws that can lodge themselves in solid armour
. Produce high quality products due to ardent perfectionism.
Weaknesses
. Need warm temperatures to survive
.Bad sense of smell without special surgery
. Ruthless and unforgiving to enemies

Observing all this is the diplomatic ship, HMS Serka, with Keleron, the captain, sipping a caffine-filled, hot, creamy drink. All these long missions have given him permanent tiredness, with pits forming underneath his red eyes. As he begins to drift off, he sends a transmission to the others: 'this is *yawn* Keleron, captain of the HMS Serka,a diplomatic ship representing the Serka race. Permission to contact? *he drifts off into a much needed sleep*

IC POST (Post 03)

Postby Yekrenia » Thu Dec 14, 2017 12:06 pm

Walthererstewib couldn't help but look out one of the viewing windows via one of the promenade decks on the starboard side. It was amazing to see how far the Kletterians have progressed far beyond their oceanic homeworld, Dasan.

Now wearing blue thigh-high cross-laced boots and peakless sailor cap, Walthererstewib was difficult to miss among the common sailors on board. She was at the lowest caste of naval rankings - a stark contrast to her brother.

Well, that was to consider that Waltherkith had ran off to the astronautical officer academy at the age of 16-years-old. When her brother graduated at 21-years-old with the rank of captain, Walthererstewib was just 12-years-old.

She was still in the 9th grade - a Kletterian freshman in secondary school when her brother began his journey to fame. She had heard stories of her brother going on such expeditions across the cosmos in the name of colonization.

By the time she graduated from school at the age of 16-years-old, she was destined to join her brother; however, that was better said than done. First, she failed the entry exam. Second, her parents denied her the money to pursue such an endeavor anyway.

Nevertheless, this didn't stop Walthererstewib from joining the DLN as a common sailor at the age of 17-years-old. While inglorious and humble by comparison to her brother, it was a good start; however, that was only so at the time.

Now here she was again as a common sailor on board the galleon, Alexander XII - her brother's flagship of the expedition fleet. For three years, she had been a common sailor, which only began to severely annoy her now that she was on board Alexander XII.

Though there were some benefits for serving on board a peacetime Kletterian galleon. For example, the bunk beds were not as dark and monotonous like that on the sloops and brigantines. Plus, there galleons had marines on board - better safety.

So in case somebody were to illegally board the ship, Walthererstewib and the other common sailors didn’t have to fight alone. The marines on board were a much needed defense that was lacking on the smaller ships.

Unfortunately, Walthererstewib had a job to do. She couldn’t keep looking out the viewing window any longer, since she had to be delivering reports from office to office. Maybe she can meet her brother somewhere on the way...

Who knows...

Meanwhile for Waltherkith

“The translation is completed, sir.” The communication officer relayed to Captain Waltherkith, though that wasn’t before curiosity took over, “But...how odd. The words in this language a very similar.”

“Ah yes, this language you found.” Waltherkith sighed as he walked over to see the translated language, to which gave him no surprise at first. His crew had translated alien languages before in record time - so translating is nothing new.

Though it was when the communication officers had highlighted some of the words on screen that made Walthrrkith think otherwise. At seemed that this language had familiar words that either sounded identical or similar.

For example, there was the word, ‘craft’. The Lavarian alphabet may have differed greatly from this alien alphabet, but that didn’t stop the computers from acquiring the sounds of each glyph. There was slightly more glyphs in the alien alphabet though.

There were a few unrecognizable sounds in this alien language, but that didn’t stop the specialist and computers from translating the speech. Apparently, the aliens had given their name and asked for the Kletterians to identify themselves.

So it looks like these aliens were occupying this part of the galaxy; however, Waltherkith himself knew that a compromise can be made with these aliens in mind. Full colonization would obvious be out the window at this point, so Waltherkith had a different idea.

“Have you compiled a response to the transmission?”

“Not yet, sir.” The officer nodded with subtle negatively.

“For now go ahead and reply back to them in Vjoorjase (Lavarian). I want to see how they react to our speech - see if they find anything similar in our language. Keep at the translation, I want to find out what else we can find about this language.”

“Aye, aye, sir.”

Subsequently, the officer and his peers proceeded to reply back to the transmission in the following words, though it sounded like a soft Germanic conlang from the ears of the receiver, “Dese Aleksaader daz Zwolftel (XII), du kasar verstehe ulle? (lit. ‘This-is Alexander the Twelfth, you able-are [to]-understand us?’)”

How should I respond?" Tripod said,"I'll handle this." Tuner said,"Yes sir." Tripod listened to the transmission. He spoke into the comm unit,"Alexander VII, this is Elekon City Space Port Command, we read you loud and clear through our translation equipment. What is your home system? We know you are not native to this sector, due to the fact that you appear to be using solar based propulsion. We use other systems of propulsion."

"Ubersetzuthgerate?" The communication officers at their workstation frowned at this startling revelation. Surely, this definitely cut their work out significantly now that the aliens can understand them. (1.)

Unfortunately, Captain Walterkith said otherwise, though rather calmly and stoically as the incoming reply from the aliens followed in translation, "Know what you can about that language. For now, let me take over the radio."

"Yes sir." The communication officer from earlier nodded as he stepped aside and attended to one of his fellow peers translating this new alien language.

Captain Waltherkith proceeded to reply back to the alien transmission, though not before subtly clearing his throat, "Dese Gezagvoerder Waltherkith, du lacht dether be saghle ulle wafur? Wislich, wiser hir fur war tir, wiser fide wihr weg hir wihr siel." (2.)

"Duhr zuhauswelt?" Captain Walterkith pondered, though his officers were just as baffled as he was, "Gebe ulle tijd krijge du, wiet seil othe du be zweitagezijd. Wiet prate veer eisgeer wi haft gevaakte duhr zuhauswelt."

Meanwhile on board Alexander XII

Walthererstewib looked out one of the view ports on the starboard side, ever so gripped by the frightening amazement of the vast voids of space. It was amazing how the Kletterian species came so far to literally sail the cosmos.

Sailing on water was one thing, but sailing in space was something amazing. The gigantic solar sails outside from the view ports shadowed the ship like the ancient canvas/cotton sails on wooden ships - back in the pre-FTL colonial era.

There sailing next to Alexander XII's starboard side was the frigate - Wahrer Glaube - with its four sails deployed off to the right. From what Walthererstewib learned from being in the navy, she knew her basics on all Kletterian space ships.

There are five ship classes that form the basis of the Kletterian space navies; Sloop, Brigantine, Frigate, Dreadnought, and Galleon. Because wormhole generators are too big and costly to be mounted on ships, solar sails was the standard propulsion.

First, Sloops usually have one to two sails, and are specialized for reconnaissance and anti-starfighter roles - favoring speed and maneuverability especially with hit-and-run naval tactics.

Brigantines have two to three sails, and act as escort vessels for larger and slower Kletterian vessels - their hull size ideal for a perfect balance of maneuverability, armor, and firepower.

Frigates have four to sails and their hull size allow for heavy armor and weaponry powerful enough to decimate entire squadrons of starfighters and smaller ships alike at once. Like the Brigantine, frigates act as escort vessels, and can carry an auxiliary squadron of starfighters for space superiority and interception.

Galleons have three to six sails, and are large transport vessels capable of hauling entire military divisions along with thousands of tons of equipment and materials to allow said armies to invade entire planets; however, there was a civilian application for this giant.

When it comes to peacetime purposes, galleons are used as flagships for space explorations, with their large cargo holds large enough to supply Kletterian colonist with enough materials to build a city and planetary settlement - like Alexander XII in mind.

Lastly, Dreadnoughts - while being the second largest ships in the Kletterian space navies - are the most powerful Kletterian-made vessels, with five to seven sails and baring either the heaviest armor and weaponry or the most elite star fighter squadrons (usually held in the thousands or sometimes millions).

The dreadnoughts were known for being the only vessel along with the galleon to carry experimental jump drives - also known as compact wormhole generators. Even so, both galleon and dreadnought alike used them only for performing small jumps.

Aside from that, the dreadnoughts were the only ship class in the Kletterian space navies to be big enough to wield 'space-station sized' MAC cannons (Magnetic Acceleration Cannons) powerful enough to leave small craters on a moon's surface.

MAC Cannons as in the size and shape of skyscrapers - which was what the dreadnoughts wielded in the form of forward-facing armament. It was just simply horrifying to imagine what the damage was on other ships..

At least for a common sailor like Walthererstekith herself as she marveled at the solar sails and the frigate sailing not too far away...

(KLETTERIAN TRANSLATION)

(2.) - (lit. 'Give us time [to]-get [to] you, we'll be with you in two-days-time. We'll talk more once we have made [to] your homeworld.') - ("Give us some time to get to you, we will be with you in two days time. We will talk more when we make it to your homeworld.")

Elekon City Space Port Command:
Tripod said into the comm unit,"Our homeworld may resemble a station because Techulos is a machine world. We are a race of mechanicals. That may surprise you. And we do look forward to meeting you. I still have to alert our leader." Tripod said,"Tuner, alert Guardian Sigma." Tuner nodded and sent the message to Airwave, who promised to alert Sigma.

The Guardian Building:
Airwave got the alert from Tuner. He said into a communicator,"Guardian Sigma, we are on the verge of meeting another alien race." Sigma replied,"I'll be down soon." Airwave said,"Yes sir." Sigma rushed down to talk with Airwave. When he got there, Airwave briefed Sigma.
