IC | OOC (You're here!) | An Essel RP baby!

The Clone Wars proved to be a darker time than any had anticipated. Soldiers on both sides killed and murdered one another and in the grand scheme of things they were manufactured only to destroy one another. Perhaps in Chancellor Palpatine's grand vision that promoted the war only to act as his own masterful, theatrical plan, he unvieled the true nature of sentients. In his wicked ways held truth of that in the force. Prophecy has said there was one who would bring balance to the force, therefore the purge of the Jedi may have been what was required. Prophecies are often tricky things, and there is no clear way to determine who they speak of or if they can be fulfilled in one or several lifetimes. Maybe even the idea that the chosen one was to balance the force is one we should not desire. Should the force, such a magnificent and destructive power be wielded by so many? And should we follow behind its' wielders as they wage their wars and toy with the lives of the galaxy?

19 BBY 16:5:22

Mace Windu, accompanied by Jedi Masters Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin, approached then Chancellor Sheev Palpatine to arrest him for conspiracy against the Galactic Republic, treason, and other war crimes. The Chancellor revealed himself to be more than a senator from Naboo, but instead a Sith Lord, wielding the dark side of the force. In his rage of power he killed the three masters and severely wounded Mace Windu. Another Jedi, Anakin Skywalker arrived on the scene in the hopes to defend the disgraced Chancellor. In his anger, he too tried to kill Windu.

Sheev Palpatine was killed as a result of the battle. Anakin Skywalker was detained with further assistance and he has been detained in the Anoat system until the Jedi Council can decide what to do with him.

As one of the few remaining high council members, Mace Windu addressed the Galactic Senate in a special meeting, representing the Jedi in the chambers; an unprecedented move. In his speech to the governing body of the Republic, he addressed the raging war and made his plea that the Jedi should be allowed to remove their seat of power from Coruscant, and retreat. He believes the destruction was caused by evils of the Force, but the Force nonetheless.

Mas Amedda, interim Chancellor, decided to usurp emergency powers from his predecessor and grant Windu full command of the Jedi generals and therefor the troops under their command. This would temporarily fracture the Republic's standing army and enlist Clone troopers with maintaining the peace until wartime destruction could be repaired.

Now in a period known as Galactic Reconstruction, Mace Windu has taken all Jedi on Coruscant to the planet Jedha, Master Yoda has yet to be heard from in years, Clone Troopers are still the standing army of the republic, and lawlessness has taken hold of the outer rim.

21 BBY

The Separatist Council that orchestrated the continuation of the war have been imprisoned, but their technology has mostly fallen to members of the outer rim and criminal organizations. Though the Clone Wars have ended, the Galactic Republic is now far less concerned with the Outer Rim, and prefers to focus inward and allow outlying systems to take care of themselves.

This has left room for the now broken Mace Windu to create the first Grey Jedi Academy on the moon Jedha. In the academy, Windu is a bitter and battle torn man, refusing to leave. His pupils often wear armor of their own making and seem to be preparing for a war on their own. Jedi who still believe in the order are few but were allowed to remain on Coruscant as advisers, military strategists, and are protected from the public for the most part. The Sith, now so few and dwindling due to the death of Palpatine have hidden themselves away in an unknown location, but are believed to be making plans to free Skywalker, their last hope.

Welcome to the Star Wars alt history RP, Windu's Army. In this you can be damn near any original character you choose. Links to canon characters should be avoided as most will have either been killed, exiled, or are NPC'd by me. This comes with the exclusion of Mace Windu and the academy on Jedha.

This is a more character focused role play, so to make the galaxy a little smaller our starting locations will be Coruscant or Jedha. If you are a sithy player, your location can vary but the goal is outlined in the alt history above so please read.

We will start the RP right before the death of Palpatine in 20 BBY that begins the dramatic changes the Galactic Republic undergoes. This will allow new factions, bonds, and rivalries to form before any story elements are too set.

Ah yes! Hmmmmm...
The name's James. James Usari. Well, my name is not actually James Usari, so don't bother actually looking it up, but it'll do for now.

Name: General Udar Secc’

Home Planet: Nelvaan

Species: Nelvaanian

Gender: Female

Alignment: Jedi

Force Details:
- Lightsaber Form: Form III Soresu
- Lightsaber Color: Green

Weapon: Light sabre

Appearance:
Image

Weakness and Strengths: Udar is a Jedi Diplomat through and through. She thrived in the days before the Clone Wars, when disputes between peoples could be settled in palace halls instead of on the battlefield. Udar was exactly what was needed: a strong but reserved diplomatic voice, bringing peace back where it belonged. She was no fighter, until the Clone Wars were thrust upon her. She obeyed the Council when a military command was offered to her. It was her task to maintain the peace on occupied worlds, both with words and with the iron fist the 227th Clone Legion provided her. Even though she has had some years of experience, she never really accustomed to military life and command. While using force, she is indecisive and reserved, only using military means when all other means are spent. Then, it is often too late. She is forgiving, forgiving enough for a diplomat, but too forgiving for a military commander. Now, with the war over, guilt over her past actions begin to creep up on her.

Bio: Udar lived in a small village on Nelvaan when she was born. She only lived there for a year, because by chance (or by the will of the force) she was found by a passing Jedi cruiser, the occupants of which picked up on her force-sensitive signature. They landed on the planet, compensated the family for a lost daughter, and then went back to Coruscant. That was fifty years ago. On Coruscant Udar followed the course taken by all Jedi, starting as a Younling, becoming a Padawan, and finally graduating to the position of Jedi Knight following the Trials. Being of a less well-known species, Udar was superbly fit to deal with Outer Rim conflicts. Since the Nelvaanians were non-spacefaring, none of the species in the Outer Rim had beef with them. Thus, she could be seen as impartial, a reputation she earned during many voyages beyond the Mid Rim.

During her training and beyond, Udar developed her opinions on the Jedi order. She could be seen as somewhat conservative, believing wholly in the peaceful mission of the Jedi order. She was also a purist, seeing the Grey Jedi as just stepping stones to the Dark Side. She kept as far away from all that as possible, never extending her blade in anger and using her force powers only in defence of herself and others. This purism would serve her well before the war, when such ideals could easily be maintained. However, the first signs of weakness began to show during the Naboo crisis. She wanted to go, but instead, the Order sent the more battle-hardened and combative master Qui-Gon in her place. She both respected and loathed the man, but she recognised that he was one of the few people who could truly be called a Grey Jedi. His death came as a shock to everyone.

During the following years, Udar would see her role decline within the Order. With armies on both sides massing, fewer and fewer leaders took recourse to diplomacy. The tension was growing, reaching a boiling point. More and more, Udar was evicted from planets without having achieved lasting success. The Order thus issued less and less of these diplomatic missions, focussing instead on finding the Dark Lord that evidently lived somewhere in the galaxy. Just before the Clone Wars broke out, Udar was on Coruscant pleading with senators to stay in the Republic. After the Battle of Geonosis, all her work turned to ash. There was no more room for tactful diplomacy. Udar was first kept as a political liaison to the senate, but with ever-increasing numbers of Clone Legions, more and more generals were needed. Eventually, Udar was given command of a reserve unit, occupying a few Mid-Rim plants. She tried to keep the peace there using her diplomatic tact, but species generally do not take kindly to being occupied, even if it was by the Republic.

Udar was recalled to Coruscant by Mace Windu just before he planned on arresting Palpatine. The orders he gave to her were vague; she was ordered to ‘keep the peace no matter what’. When Windu attempted his arrest, it suddenly became clear what he meant. Immediately, Udar occupied key positions on the planet, defending the Senate Building and the Jedi Temple from protesting mobs. More than once, shots were fired in self-defence and in anger, and Udar had to lead a few charges to disperse the mobs. She did better than anticipated, at least by herself. Windu was pleased, and after he assumed control of all Clone Armies, Udar was given command over the Coruscant garrison, both to keep the peace and to keep the senators on their side, whatever that meant. Since, Udar has lived on Coruscant, again trying her hand at diplomacy. She is more successful now, but the lingering distrust of the Jedi persist. Reconstruction has pitted senator against senator, former separatists against staunch Republican loyalists. With every day, a peaceful resolution seems further off than ever.

Name: Jensen (SD-179)

Home Planet: Byss

Species: Human (Clone, not of Jango)

Gender: Male

Alignment: Sith

Force Details:
- Lightsaber Form: Form V, Djem So
- Lightsaber Color: Crimson

Weapon(s): Lightsaber - Modified hilt, 13 inches for a more stable two handed grip. Longer blade than traditional sabers.

Appearance:

Weakness and Strengths: Jensen is a bit of a bruiser (Sifo Dyas was not a small man and Jensen has done a lot of intensive training), and could probably overpower someone with sheer strength if caught in a blade lock. However, he is also a pretty large target, and is slightly slower than some duelists which is why he chose a more balanced form to compensate for his natural bulk. Has some mental issues stemming from being cloned from a force sensitive host. His doubts about the Sith, coupled with his own mental instability, make him susceptible to being influenced by both the Jedi, Greys, and other Sith. Dreams of one day being strong willed enough to defy his upbringing, but is convinced that those dreams will never become a reality.

Knows that he is a clone and is intensely curious about who his 'father' is. This information can be used to manipulate him.

Bio: Jensen was 'born' on Byss three years after Palpatine's rise to power in the Republic Senate. The undercover Sith Lord had already begun searching for a way to extend his own Mortality, the most straightforward one being cloning. Palpatine was too cautious to test such experiments upon his own DNA, and began testing upon other Force sensitive donors. One readily available 'donor' was the recently deceased Sifo Dyas, who had been delivered to the Sith Lord by his servant Count Dooku. The initial attempts were complete failures, with the clones being brain-dead upon birth, as well as horribly malformed. Their 27th attempt achieved better results, if only just. This next stage in development was still misshapen and malformed, but conscious although completely lacking in mental processing power and was barely sentient. The 52nd attempt marked a significant change in the frequency and severity of deformities but mental functions were still hampered. 78 marked the end of all deformities and a significant increase of mental capability, however severe issues still accompanied the clones, ranging from mental retardation to psychopathic tendencies.

The last twenty attempts (171-191) were perfect in nearly every way, and Palptine was overjoyed at his success. The clones aged rapidly, and began their training as Sith at the age of 3 (effectively 6 years old). The sheer brutality of the Sith training regimen killed several clones, though Palpatine regarded these as failures for being weak enough to die. Their Master made it clear that only one could rise to become one of his true servants, and hoped to pit the Clones against each other. It eventually worked, despite the Dyas clones trust in each other. Two of them (182 and 191) joined together to betray the rest, and nearly would have succeeded if it weren't for their own ambitions. After killing nearly half of their rivals 191 believed that he was strong enough to finish the rest by himself and tried to kill his comrade but 182, sensing the deception, fought back. Sidious killed them both during their duel for making their betrayal plans too obvious, and not acting quickly enough to destroy the other Clones.

By the time he was 7 (now fourteen), 179 (Jensen) was one of only four surviving Clones. They were sent on a final mission to prove their worth. They would be sent to the planet Vjun and set down in individual locations with nothing but a three day survival pack and the tools to make a lightsaber, with the parts being divided among the four of them. Their goal was simple, survive the acidic rain and the patrolling Droid Commandos (who had orders to kill the Dyas Clones), track each other down to get all the parts to make a lightsaber, and make their way to Bast Castle, where they would present themselves to Count Dooku. Sidious didn't really care which of them won, or if any of them won for that matter. They were simply clones after all, and were unnecessary now that he was closer to cloning himself.

Jensen was smart enough to figure out the Droid patrol patterns, as well as how to use the force to protect himself from the acid rain. He quickly made his way to a secluded cave where he meditated and reached out to his brothers. He was able to locate one, already dead. The other two were in a game of cat and mouse nearly three klicks from his location, completely oblivious to his scrying. Jensen made his way to his fallen brother and stripped him of the lightsaber parts as well as taking the poor soul's supplies. He was narrowly able to avoid a patrol of droids who had shifted their patrol pattern to include the fallen clone, but he returned to his cave without any further issue. He camped there for two days, making a few forays into the canyons beyond to take out a handful of droid patrols and scavenge for weapons and explosives, though he had to stop once the patrols became too intense and frequent. The clone then began to set up a variety of traps around the cave entrance and within, so that when either of his brothers came to kill him they would not get far. One eventually came, having killed the other. He deftly avoided the first few traps, but was caught by one of them and unceremoniously shot thrice by the tripwired blaster rifles.

Jensen assembled the lightsaber, with a few personal touches, and went searching for Bast Castle and the Sith Lord. After three days he was able to find it and presented himself before Count Dooku. He was then taken to Sidious back on Byss, where the final stages of his training were complete. He served various missions, some undercover and some on the battlefield, during the Clone Wars, slaying many of Clones and even a few Jedi, though he was lucky to never have come in contact with many foes who could match his skill, at least ones he couldn't run away from. He is currently en-route to Coruscant by the order of Darth Sidious, something big is about to happen, but Jensen does not know any more than that.

Tag, looks interesting :) Though I am a little confused about what the current year in the RP is (since 21 BBY would put us near the beginning of the Clone Wars)

I think the count went a bit off. It's 17 BBY, I believe.

Sorry for confusion, but the opening of the OOC is a bit of fortune telling. We will RP the events leading up to 19BBY and keep altering the timeline thereafter. I feel starting a bit before will give everyone a chance to establish their characters and their respective motivations. Also gives us a chance to kill off or keep some canon NPC's for everyone to work with as well.

Gotcha, so when we're filling out our apps, should we write up to what our characters had done as of 21 BBY, or write on the events ahead up to 19 BBY (since, if we're interested in having a character join Windu's Grey Jedi, I don't imagine we could list them as Grey until 19BBY).

In your app you can list everything done before 19BBY and our initial posts ICly will be right before Windu kills Palpatine in this timeline

But I imagine that Windu's wounded bitterness comes after that, yes? So, the second part should say 17 BBY, not 21 BBY. Two years after Palpatine's death?

Name: Jedi General Martius Shan

Home Planet: Talravin

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Alignment: Currently Jedi, though will likely go Grey once Windu has started his Academy

Force Details:
- Lightsaber Form: Form II primary, Form III secondary
- Lightsaber Color: Blue

Weapon(s): Vented lightsaber, light armor

Appearance: Martius

Weakness and Strengths: Strengths: Strong familial connection to the Force, excellent lightsaber duelist, well-educated and well-versed in Galactic history, highly talented strategist and tactician. Weaknesses: Greatly troubled over the innocent deaths he caused on Tinnel IV (to the point he can barely sleep due to the nightmares and is struggling to maintain the usually strong control he has over his emotions), has few friends in the Jedi Order, is disliked by many in the Republic, and is utterly loathed by the Separatists.

Bio: Born into a family with a long history of a strong connection to the Force going back countless generations, it was no surprise when Martius was discovered to be Force Sensitive. He was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant while still an infant, and was raised by the Order. Like many younglings he trained under Master Yoda for much of his youth, until completing his Initiate Trials at the age of 10 and becoming a Padawan. A natural with a lightsaber, he caught the eye of the Echani Jedi Master Meetra Fenni, who would go on to select him as her apprentice. Eager to impress his new Master, Martius was extremely diligent in his training with Master Fenni, and learned a great deal in a short amount of time. Meetra was impressed enough by Martius' performance that she even began to train him in the Echani martial arts in addition to his Jedi studies.

After learning the basics of the lightsaber forms, Martius decided to focus his studies on Form II Makashi, which he studied with his master and further supplemented with the Echani techniques she taught him, and Form III Soresu, which he learned from the Jedi Battlemaster Cin Drallig alongside a number of other Padawans. When not studying on Coruscant, Martius accompanied his Master on a variety of adventures (and the occasional misadventure) ranging from mediating negotiations to battling pirates in the Outer Rim. While studying for his Trials, he also became very interested in Galactic History, and that subject continued to be a major point of interest for him even after successfully completing his Trials and becoming a Jedi Knight, to the point that he even once considered becoming a full-fledged Jedi Historian.

Martius still stuck with his Master for a few years after attaining Knighthood, feeling there was still much he could learn from her, and the two got in a number of scuffles with the Trade Federation in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. Unfortunately however, those small fights could not prepare them for the scale of combat they would face on the planet of Geonosis. Though Martius would survive the battle, thanks in large part to ARC Commander Maverick, his Master was not so fortunate. In the wake his Master's death, Martius began devoting every waking moment to honoring her memory and sacrifice by doing everything in his power to preserve the Republic and the Jedi Order by winning the war they were now faced with, at any cost.

Thanks in large part to his studies of military history, Martius proved to be an exceptional strategist, and unlike most Jedi, tended to focus on the long term benefits and detriments of his actions, rather than their immediate consequences. This led to Martius developing a sort of "Needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" mentality, which combined with his strong desire to win the war at any cost, helped him, and the troops of the 53rd Legion he commanded, emerge victorious in no small number of battles, and earned him numerous commendations in the battles he participated in, but it would also eventually come to backfire on him.

In early 19BBY, Martius was informed that a civil war had broken out on the planet of Tinnel IV, and that one of the factions in that war had defected to the Separatists. When the CIS deployed an army of battle droids to back up their faction, Martius was ordered to drive them off the planet. When he arrived however, he quickly learned that his task would be far more difficult than was originally thought, as the super tactical droid commander employed a strategy similar to that used at Nabat on the planet Ryloth, only considerably more refined. The droid commander on Tinnel IV occupied the Separatist faction's Capital, a major port city on the planet, and instead of grouping his proton cannons in a small area with a small amount of civilians near the weapons to deter a direct assault, it had proton cannons placed all throughout the port, using all of its denizens and infrastructure to deter an attack. The super tactical droid was also intelligent enough to bring far more cannons than were used at Ryloth.

After driving the Sepratist flotilla out of the system in a short naval battle, Martius' fleet orbited the planet, and after examining the situation Martius and his advisors decided to try and replicate Obi-Wan's plan, and after night fell on the port city Martius and a group of some 200 clone troopers set out in ten gunships towards the planet's surface in an attempt to land outside the port, sneak in, and disable the guns. Unfortunately, the super tactical droid expected the Jedi to do precisely that, and shortly after entering the planet's atmosphere the gunships were subjected to a massive barrage of AA fire. In a matter of seconds seven of the gunships were destroyed, and with no hope of making it to the surface intact, Martius ordered the remaining gunships to return to the fleet.

Upon returning to his flagship, Martius discussed the situation with his advisors and the situation wasn't pretty. They'd received reports that the flotilla they drove out of the system had linked up with a Separatist fleet, and that fleet seemed to be headed towards the Tinnel System. Martius' subordinates had already contacted the Republic to request reinforcements, but had been informed that the Republic fleet was overstretched as it was, and that they simply didn't have any reinforcements to send. Meanwhile, it appeared that the much of the Separatist army in the port city was preparing to mobilize and begin its conquest of the rest of the planet. Martius knew that if the droids weren't defeated before their fleet arrived and established a blockade, the droids would likely be able to conquer the entire planet before the Republic could muster enough forces to attempt to drive them from the world, and if they managed to set up more of those proton cannons on the surface by then the Republic would almost certainly sustain extremely heavy losses in any such campaign; losses the Republic simply could not afford, and if they were unable to reclaim a Core World it could well cost the Republic the war. With little time to think, Martius weighed what few options he had and ultimately decided that the fate of the Republic and the lives of the people of an entire planet outweighed those of the people in a single city, and feeling that he had come to far to allow the sacrifice of his Master, as well as the sacrifices of countless other Jedi and clone troopers to be for nothing, he ordered an orbital bombardment of the port.

Within minutes, the proton cannons and the entire Separatist army was destroyed as the port city was reduced to ash. When the Separatist fleet learned of the bombardment, they decided it was simply not worth the resources to attempt another invasion, and were diverted to other systems. The battle for the Tinnel System was won in a single stroke, but at a heavy cost; over 50,000 civilians were killed in the bombardment, and the ripples through the Force as those countless souls cried out in terror only to be instantly silenced would haunt Martius for the rest of his life. When the dust settled and Martius returned to Coruscant, there was a great deal of debate over the his actions: some believed them to be a strategic necessity, and felt the citizens who betrayed the Republic deserved what they got; while others declared the bombardment to be barbaric and declared Martius to be the "Butcher of Tinnel IV." His strongest supporter turned out to be Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who lauded Martius' actions, and even awarded him with the Cross of Glory, declaring him the "Hero of Tinnel IV" and "A great asset to the Republic." When Martius met Palpatine in person, the Chancellor seemed almost...happy to hear about the bombardment, but the Jedi was still too shaken at the time to make anything of it.

The Jedi Council was torn on what to do with Martius; some called for his immediate expulsion while others argued that his actions were taken out of strategic necessity. For the time being, Martius was deemed important enough to the war effort that the Council has currently allowed him to remain in command of the 53rd, but it is clear to many, including Martius, that when he is no longer needed he will likely be put on trial to await an uncertain fate...

Weakness and Strengths: Strengths: Elite ARC and Clone Commander training, extensive command and battlefield experience, surprisingly good sabaac player. Weaknesses: Short life-span, prone to insubordination

Bio: Like all Clones, CC-1776 was born on Kamino and cloned from Jango Fett's DNA. Like other Clone Commanders, he had been bred to be more autonomous and intelligent than standard clones, but CC-1776's autonomy ended up being considerably greater than most of the other commanders, and he ended up with an independent streak that earned him the nickname "Maverick." Maverick initially received poor ratings during his basic training due to his difficulty working well with others and his outright refusal on several occasions to follow orders he deemed to be "stupid." Still, his exceptional combat and tactical prowess managed to get him through basic by the skin of his teeth, and when he began his Clone Commander training, he truly excelled. Where many Commanders lost men in simulations while holing up and waiting for orders when presented with a tactical opportunity to outflank the enemy, Maverick's natural independent streak allowed him to press the advantage as soon as it presented itself, regardless of orders. While this might've made him a lousy trooper, it made him an excellent leader, and he passed his Commander training with top marks; leading to his being selected for additional training as an ARC Commander.

He completed his ARC training just in time for the Clone Wars to kick off, and he was selected to be among those in the first wave deployed to Geonosis. His first taste of combat was in the planet's arena, where he destroyed over a dozen droids and helped to extract a Jedi Knight by the name of Martius Shan. Once out of the arena, Maverick and the rest of his regiment landed on the main battlefield, and were placed under Shan's command. Though a formidable combatant, Martius had no prior experience fighting an all-out war, and just instinctively ordered the regiment to launch a frontal assault against the droid forces. Maverick immediately pointed out what a terrible idea that was, and after bringing up a map of the battlefield, pointed out a natural trench along the enemy's left flank which would both provide excellent cover and allow them to outflank the droid forces. Martius wisely listened to Maverick's suggestion, and led the regiment through the trench, where the narrow space further gave him an excellent advantage against the battle droids stationed there.

Once they'd reached a good position, the regiment laid down covering fire for the clone troopers advancing against the droid army, which now found itself caught in a crossfire. The droids were soon ordered into a full retreat, and as they fell back, Martius, Maverick, and the rest of the regiment left the trench to aid the rest of the clone forces which were pushing forward to gun them down. As the battle neared it's end however, a B2 super battle droid managed to get a lucky shot off which hit Maverick directly in the gut. The clone collapsed to the ground in pain, but when the B2 moved in for the kill, Martius jumped directly in front of Maverick and deflected its blaster fire away long enough for him to close in and slice the droid in half. Using his Force heal ability, Martius was able to stabilize Maverick's injury, then carried the clone back across the battlefield to a Medevac transport.

The battle was won, and in the aftermath Martius was made a Jedi Master, given the rank of Jedi General, and placed in command of the 53rd Attack Battalion for his actions on the planet, and he quickly chose the now recovered Maverick as his executive officer. The clone had earned the Jedi's trust, and the Jedi had earned the clone's unwavering loyalty. In what little downtime he had, Martius read every text and studied every holocron he could find on the subject of military tactics and strategies, and drilled constantly with Maverick and the rest of the 53rd to be as prepared as possible for whatever battles may come. That preparation paid off, and along with the infinitely more valuable lessons that firsthand experience on battlefields throughout the galaxy taught, the two became excellent and well regarded commanders. For three years they fought together, helping the Republic to claim many victories in its war against the Separatists. Knowing how many clone lives were saved by Martius' decision to bomb the port at Tinnel IV, Maverick and the rest of the 53rd support Martius' decision, and Maverick in particular intends to remain loyal to his Jedi General no matter what happens to him in the coming times...

Application

Name: Helenea Ciree

Home Planet: Mechis III

Species: Twi'lek

Gender: Female

Alignment: Sith

Weapon(s): A single DL-18 blaster pistol is Helenea's personal weapon, along with a collapsible electrostaff which she keeps in case she does up against any Force-wielders. However, her true armament comes in the form of a defective Mark One Buzz Droid called Scratch, which operates as weapon, pet and mechanic in equal combination. Helenea also has her "tactical suite", a selection of equipment ranging from jetpacks and grappling hooks to adhesive grenades and stimulants in order to give her the edge she needs in combat. In addition to her personal weaponry, Helenea also possesses the Breakdawn, a KR-TB transport which she has spent years modifying to hold a vast array of equipment away from the prying eyes of casual observers - and customs officials.

Appearance:
Image

Weakness and Strengths: Helenea is perfectly competent with most conventional weapons, able to pick up most weapons and use them well enough to get the job done. She is also conversant with her electro-staff, and is capable of holding her own against Padawans for a short period of time using it. However, her greatest asset is her ability to think her way around difficult situations - utilising the environment around her to her advantage, planning out missions with dozens of fallback options and using her skills with mechanics and slicing to present any enemy with a constantly-changing opponent to face.

Of course, she needs her brain - her base abilities are far beneath that which a Jedi can bring to bear in any given situation. Despite having trained for a few years, she is still a long way away from being anything more than competent and taking any Jedi head-on would invariably result in her demise. This shows itself in many areas - Helenea lacks the danger sense of a Jedi, the ability to draw on the Force for sustenance or guidance or any of the other benefits of Force usage. In short, she is the closest to normal one can be while still managing to survive in the shadow war between the Sith and the Jedi.

Bio: Helenea was born onto Mechis III just over two decades before the onset of the Clone Wars, growing up amidst the machinery and technology of the droid foundries found on that planet. By the time the Clone Wars began, she was already an employee in one of the Techno Union facilities scattered around the planet. There was little she could do to improve upon the operation of the plant she was operating, which proved to be both a boon and a bane. While her capacity for recognition within the Techno Union was limited, her inability to improve much limited her duties to basic maintenance. With the time this freed for her, she began to tinker with and modify the spare parts and failures.

With time, she became a roving troubleshooter operating outside the normal boundaries of the Separatist industrial machine. With her experience and expertise she was shifted from foundry to foundry in order to streamline work processes and improve designs before moving on once more, never spending more than a month anywhere. This saved her life more than once, as the Republic's fleets seemed to follow her wherever she went - accidentally at first, but later in order to prevent her from streamlining the Separatists' industry any more than she already had. As the people she left behind went silent, Helenea began to become more and more lonely and separated from the outside world.

When the Tinnel IV rebellion came, Helenea was shifted onto the planet as soon as was possible to do so. Working feverishly in order to bring the serried ranks of proton cannon into operation, Helenea stayed on the planet for four months before a Republic battlegroup arrived to take the planet back - more time than she'd spent on her past three assignments put together. As the cannon she'd spent so long working with held the enemy back, critical personnel and equipment were ferried out of the system - and Helenea was on one of the last shuttles to leave the city before it was destroyed.

It was a five-minute trip into orbit: over the course of that five minutes she saw four months' worth of work demolished: four months' of friendships snuffed out. She saw an entire city demolished with slow inevitability and terrifying precision, turbolaser bolts igniting the air around them in a conflagration which seared itself into her mind. For the first time, the war was no longer something distant and happening to other people - for the first time, Helenea began to understand what the numbers broadcast on the shadownet actually meant. For the first time, she saw the war as it happened.

She took a single week of therapy before heading back to her work.

Moving from place to place with a renewed fervour, Helenea began to research more than simple mechanics: tactics, history, and how to inegrate her own arts into that of warfare became her purview. Shifting from purely troubleshooting, she began to design the devices being produced, orchestrating projects both massive and minuscule. Her mind became a weapon which she honed, devising ever-more deadly defences, weapons and warships to throw at the Republic even as the Outer Rim Sieges began to reach their final, inexorable conclusion. She researched the Jedi, developing new models of battle droid to counter their abilities and exploit their flaws. She trained her body, starting to fight against her foe with more than just her mind. And all the while, the spectre of Republic victory loomed ever-larger.

By the time the Confederacy collapsed, Helenea was prepared to go to almost any lengths to remove the Republic - and the Jedi - from the galaxy. And, with her rage and hatred burning bright, she was contacted by an organisation who claimed to be hostile to the Republic. Trust came slow on both sides, but Helenea helped the Sith Order to slowly adapt to their sudden removal of power, letting them stretch their newly-limited resources to cover more of their objectives. Working as equal parts agent and inventor, Helenea carved out her own niche in the Sith Order with the brutality one would expect of a born and trained Sith. While a significant gulf lies between her and the true masters of the Order, Helenea has achieved far too much to be considered a mere pawn - she is closer to the knight, bypassing enemy defences to strike from an unexpected quarter.

Anything Else? I don't think so...

Interesting...

Only Sith remnants I can think of are the Jensaarai, and they won't likely do much aside from hiding like they always have done.

Also Canon or Legends?

I'm operating with canon for NPC's, but the timeline diverts so legends could be used within reason.
