Though after this raid, I think I might make stats for Fyodors 1953 refit which allows him to carry jets.

Alright, my question has been answered. All of that, and the artillery bombardement, and everything else, will be in my next post. That one will, most likely, come tomorrow.
And go ahead, it's an upgrade, though, not a refit. Which jet aircraft would he carry, though?

Probably some WW2 attacker that I foolhardily turn into a jet and a Russian version of this:

Oh, gotcha. Then Locust is reacting to Selks.

Alright, will do. That's going to be fun!

Sure, I see it for the 6 inch and 12 inch, but you know. An air raid must be dealt with ASAP with a ship so big.

Yes, she might have San Shiki-lookalikes, for her 6inchers, 12inchers and even her 914mms, but they might not be as effective at taking out enemy aircraft then you might think they are. The Type 3 was, to my understanding, an over-estimated piece of pyrotechnics and hindered by the slower of rate of fire or larger calibre guns.

Looks good so far, but I'll wait for specifications. Generally speaking for all carriers wishing to take on jet aircraft, we can swap them between each other and base, so you are not bound to stay with yours and yours alone.

I'm completely aware they were garbage in real life, but for some godforsaken reason, they're like death traps for any aircraft in the kancolle universe. Thanks for the heads up.

No problem. As for the Type 3's Effectiveness in the KanColle-Universe... let's chalk it up as balancing.
Speaking of which, I would propose, that we go for the middle ground between reality and the game in this case - not only for Caty's Type 3 shells, but for all lookalikes as well.

Also, congratulations to Sleet Clans for the first post on page 50 of the IC!

It's funny to me how basically every carrier wants to mount jets, and they all want to have ones ahead of 1950 on looks and performance.

I admit, Catherine is bloody stupid huge, but she's got biplanes for scouts, so...

You really can't complain tho Rus, considering you have 12 guns that are each 114mm bigger than Schwerer Gustav.

Oberth was apped right around the time Hornissennest was, and introduced a few posts after her.

Hell, the Me-262 was being designed *prior to WW2*. The main things that kept it out of production until the end of the war were lack of materials for heat-resistant engine materials, technical issues, the Air Ministry's insistence that conventional fighters were sufficient, and meddling by Hitler. You've also got the He-178, first flown in 1939, though that never went into production, had a combat endurance of 10 minutes, and was never given armament.

I see. We handle equipment applications rather informally, to be honest - from the awesome descriptions of Kraicia's D-11s to my rather bare-bones GE&T-article. Somewhere inbetween those two extremes is fine.

For upgrades, and only upgrades, 1955 is the upper limit. New vessels are still 1950.
Either way, prop-aircraft do have their charmes to this day.

Say, guys. I was planning on doing a P2TM RP involving fairy (that is, KanColle fairies) versions of our NS nations' peoples. This kind of RP has nothing to do with Fairly Fairy Shenanigans or Of Ships and Girls and Shipgirls, and it will take place in Tokyo, Yokosuka, or Yokohama, Kanagawa. Each fairy faction will be based either on the docks, on the roofs, at ground level, or at the seas. Starting technology will be, of course, Interwar period.

READ BELOW!

I RP as Novaya, a Human militaristic nation (cuz anime) and an archipelagic country. I also RP as the Novayan Stellar Commonwealth, a FanFT/FanFFT nation.
Please refer to me/my nation as Novaya in both IC and OOC, NOT Novaya Equestria.

I'm not quite sure, what I should make of that. Do you want/need help with working out the mechanics or do you want to advertise your RP? In the former case, throw me a TG, if you want.

Thank you. I did post just a few moments ago and, well, here's the summary:
    - Following the air attacks on the carrier group, Searc is wounded and her main guns out of commission. She, too, will need to spend a bit of time in the docks.
    - Rhiannon continues to mine and thus cover their retreat, while she also proposes a next course of action for the landing troops and their guardians: Linking up with the battleships.
    - Stilly, too, has a plan to safe herself and Salvation.
    - Oberth gets her very own barnacle in the form of Kattegat, who's happy to meet someone, who speaks German, too, and on native-speaker-level, too. Alster wants Oberth's help with unloading, not wanting to carry around several hundred tons of ammunition for longer then necessary. (Berm, I love the Inglorious Basterds reference, by the way ; )). I wish to stress, that neither Kattegat's, nor Alster's words reflect my own views.
    - While Baka-Prince greenlights Hornissennest's plan, one more depth charge is dropped on Locust by a destroyer not wishing, that the poor whale soffers more. They effectively lost contact with him.
    - Amy pulls her weight of Whona.
    - Nevlamas' new friend dies.
    - Heba, still lovestruck, sends a message to Hazel, hoping to get a reply and to keep her presence a secret from her peers.

Did I miss anything important?

Novaya, can you give me a chance to reply to your previous post before making a new one, please? You may also wish to note that, unless all those ships are fresh on the scene, the same fog keeping them from being targets unless they open fire would be obscuring visual aim. Also, if Chrysantheme was firing during my previous post, some of the second group would have gone after her as well. Same goes for any other ships opening fire during said post.
