May I ask - what do you have to put under the OOC-section in the application? I don’t want to get it wrong twice in a row.

Do you want me to fill out a form for any of them or naah? I'm just wondering because it could be a bit fun.

Actually, a small ORBAT based on this list is completely sufficient. Please keep in mind, though, that everything listed under 'Bosses', be it ship or base, is off limits. Or you could indeed make them yourself, if you want, I'd only need a statblock and a few sentences as a technical description of their shipselves.
Which option you take is entirely up to you.

Personell file - Operational Sector Wide Sea - South West

Name: Jinji
Type: Battleship/ Super Battleship
Class: Nijura-class
Role: Flagship or Long-range Battleship-destroyer
Nation of origin: The Free People of Suoji
Year commissioned: 1948
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: Tall, rather thin build, accompanied by plain, dark blue jacket and trousers. Short, black hair that is usually neatly combed, but can get very messy when it isn’t washed. Dark blue eyes and a small nose make up his rather small face.
Gender: Male
Character: Quiet and shy, a stark contrast to his outgoing sister the Nijura. However, he is calm and calculating in the midst of battle, but can get angry and worked up when it’s not going in his favour. He’s very slow to make friends, and always feels like he has to assess them before becoming friends with them. But once he makes friends, he stays very loyal to them, but can sometimes get a bit obsessive over them.
Special abilities: The small, 75mm guns on his side can double up as anti-ship and anti-air guns.
Technical Description of the vessel:
Technical Data
Displacement: 69,000 tons
Width: 60 metres
Draught: 7.5 metres
Propulsion: 2 x Sukozawa 35000hp boilers
Speed: 20 knots
Complement: 2,600
Armament: Frontal -8x Nakano 280mm guns, 3x Nakano 250mm guns, 4x Nakano 150mm guns
Side - 8x Zado 200mm guns, 20x Nakano 75mm Anti-ship/Anti-air guns, 4x Zado 105mm guns, 15x Kurosawa 60mm Anti-air guns
Rear- 12x Nakano 100mm guns, 6x Nakano 150mm guns
Armour: 400mm of armour all round the ship
Notes: The Jinji was known as a revenge weapon by the Suojians, revenge for the sinking of the Nijura in 1948. Whilst 50 metres shorter than the Nijura, the Jinji carried much more potent weaponry, and was more than enough to defeat the remnants of the Japanese-controlled Suojian Navy. The Jinji set out on its maiden voyage in May, 1950, two years after being commissioned. Whilst sailing, it encountered five Kai-class cruisers from the Japanese-controlled Suojian Navy. It sunk them all with ease, with only a few scratches on its armour. It was here the Suojians saw how potent it was.

From there, the Jinji was accompanied by the Nahago cruiser, which had previously accompanied the Nijura. However, in 1952 the Nahago was sunk. Fortunately, the Suojian Navy had been building two ships to accompany the Jinji in what they dubbed the “Suojian Fleet Two”. This fleet consisted of the Jinji, Jokosuka destroyer and the Jinsei pocket aircraft carrier. All of these ships survive today as museum ships, residing in the Suojian capital city of Sayato.

OOC-section:
RP-sample: I’ve never really participated in an RP like this before, so I don’t have anything to show you.

I have three problems, or rather one note and two problems, with this one:
    - Note: The RP-sample can be of any RP you ever participated in, not necessarily one like this. The point is, that it's somewhere, where I can see, how you interact with other players and how you RP - and we have many different styles here.
    - Problem one: There's something very important of the OOC-section missing.
    - Problem two: We're currently not accepting capital ships, like battleships, because we simply have too many of them and too little in the way of escorts. Very sorry about that.

EDIT: To stress, that does not mean, that you are not accepted, I would really like to have you in this RP, but it means, that you'll rework, possibly make a new App, that one. My apologies for any confusion.

I'll make a bit of information for at least one or two of them, probably. I'll probably take at least one from the list, though.
RP Types I Enjoy: God RPs (anything involving deities), alt history, medieval.

There are two things asked for in the app's OOC-section, the RP-sample and "Have you read and understood the rules?". You missed the latter. Section three has the answer to the question.

Okay, second time lucky!

Personell file - Operational Sector Wide Sea - South West

Name: Jokosuka
Type: Light Cruiser/Anti-air defence
Class: Jokosuka-class
Role: Flagship Defense
Nation of origin: The Free People of Suoji
Year commissioned: 1949
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: Long, red hair that goes down to around shoulder length; large green eyes and a short, thin build. He wears plain dark blue trousers, with a plain white t-shirt with the flag of Suoji on the top left. On top of this is a dark grey jacket with the code number of Jokosuka - D-1039 enscribed on the top right pocket.
Gender: Male
Character: Outgoing, friendly and a little bit boisterous. He’s known to boss other ships around despite his smaller size. In the midst of a battle, he will do anything to achieve a win, and will get very angry if something gets in this way. He’s quick to make friends, maybe a little too quick for some people.

He has a love for history and military tactics, and loves educating people on the history of Suoji. However, some people are known to fall asleep during his long speeches about the tactics in naval warfare throughout the years.
Special abilities: His love for military tactics gives him a tactical edge over other ship girls/boys
Technical Description of the vessel:
Technical Data
Displacement: 4500 tons
Length (overall): 200 metres
Width: 15 metres
Draught: 3 metres
Propulsion: 1x Sukozawa 54000hp boiler
Speed: 32 Knots
Complement: 500
Armament: 5x Nakano 125mm guns , 6x Nakano 75mm guns, 15x Kurosawa 60mm Anti-air guns, 6x 600mm torpedo tubes
Armour: 30 to 100mm of armour
Notes: The Jokosuka was the replacement for the Nahago-class cruiser that accompanied the Nijura and Jinji. Whilst commissioned in 1949, it did not see service until 1951, when the Nahago was sunk. The Jokosuka packed much more of a punch than the Nahago, and was meant to destroy the many cruisers used by the Japanese-controlled Suojian Navy. Over it’s time in service, where it was part of Suojian Fleet Two, fighting alongside the Jinsei and Jinji, it claimed 10 Kai-class cruisers sunk and 1 Tsuru-class battlecruiser.

It currently resides in Sayato as a museum ship, alongside the Jinji and Jinsei.

A 20,000 ton vessel is not a destroyer. Okay, today it might as well be called a destroyers, but not in our timeframe.

This particular one is not only too large, too heavy and too heavily armoured to be a destroyer, but also severly underpowered and more in like to what I'd call a heavy cruiser/light battleship (if it were sufficiently powered, that is).
If you need inspiration for a destroyer, you can always look towards Wikipedia or ask here.
Good lists to start from would be the Wartime Emergency Programme of the Brits (and if anyone knows how to build ships, it's the Brits, another possible starting point would be the general list of British Destroyers), the list of German WW2 destroyers, the list of Japanese Destroyers ever since the Russo-Japanese War and, of course, the general list of destroyer classes (but that one is large and confusing).
If you want inspiration for a destroyer class comissioned in 1949 without long search, the Daring-class might be a good place to start.

Call it a light cruiser and we can nearly call it a deal (despite the engine). Could you please read the rules again?
Also, as for his tactical knowledge and the edge that's supposed to give him, be aware, that we already have more then enough very, very experienced and capable ships around, as well as a flagship.

Suoji, in the event Selks accepted your app, Jokosuka must NOT boss the aircraft carrier Novaya. He's depressed because of the fact that what he saw on the poor fairies caused him to be suicidal and depressed. Till he gets better, your character must not boss him around, less Novaya's depression worsens.

Time for enhanced interrogation techniques a friendly conversation. :)

If anyone needs to talk to Cori, again, call her on radio or go to the brig if it's urgent. I'll attempt to move the whole interrogation arc a little bit faster so we can get to fleet actions. Enjoy movie night in the meantime!

To elaborate on what NE said: The battle ended with the Abyssals getting the ruddy hell out of there, Wafa holding us off but getting sunk in the process, the Abyssals getting the supply convoy in and us rescuing Lanza Blanca.

I'm very sorry, capital ships are currently not accepted due to us simply having too many of them.

Less a rule, but more something informal would be around 1000 tons or around the size of the Flower-class Corvettes. The smallest vessels in the game are, to my knowledge, the Etorofu-class Escort Ships, which are smaller then that.

Also, Novaya, you do realize, that usually, when people are told not to do something, they do exactly that?

The guns are horrendously huge for its tonnage. 40 knots is way too fast, it should be close to 35 with its engine power. Typically not enough torpedoes to be effective.
It's kind of like you tried to make several ships into one by taking all of their armament and putting a very small amount of each.
No hard feelings, but. As Co-OP, I have intention to abuse my ability to dictate the realism of ships. [Even though that statement is extremely hypocritical, I just like things being proportionate]

Also, that battleship you posted could easily have 500mm guns if we were accepting it.

I'm just asking for Comet's little battle group. I wanted a small ship to be his little assistant.

(And please delete the link to the movie in your last post. No discussion.)

Done.
READ BELOW!

I RP as Novaya, a Human militaristic nation (cuz anime) and an archipelagic country. I also RP as the Novayan Stellar Commonwealth, a FanFT/FanFFT nation.
Please refer to me/my nation as Novaya in both IC and OOC, NOT Novaya Equestria.

Sooooo, does that mean that Heavy Cruisers count as Capital Ships?

I usually count them as capital ships, as I am biased due to Hearts of Iron II. We had this discussion before, if my memory serves me right... alright, heavy cruisers are okay.

The Assorted Saharan Outposts wrote:...really? That's a lot of tons more than Comet and..the other one I made. Huh..

As said, it's not a rule. It's not even a guideline. So... as long as the Assistant isn't a Paddle Boat, I'm alright with it (pending the rest of the text, of course).

Btw., Sleet Clans, Legatia, please be aware, that Amy is still by the docks waiting for damaged ships, so.
(And thank you, NE.)
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

You could probably cram 5-6 of those 127's on if you really wanted. I'm here to milk all ships of their OP capability, while keeping them afloat.

I know what I'm doing, anyway, I think. I genuinely designed both of my ships- Imperatritsa Ketrin and K-591.

Ok. I didn’t want to put too much on in case it became implausible again. I’ve put 5 of the 125s on there now
