One paragraph history of your nation: (from 1893 onwards, not required if nothing has changed from RL): After Yerkes and Tesla teamed up, the American economy boomed. The US was producing revolutionary technology; the government started funding businesses and science at tenfold. However, the US made many losses in World War One, when it's defense expenditure went up a lot, and so they couldn't fund tech anymore. Then came the Great Depression. The USA has since been trying desperately, but futilely, to rebuild the booming economy it once was, ignoring Tesla's company completely.

Well, there are a lot of things to do. You could do some diplomacy or industrialize parts of China that are backwards.

...lots of interesting things happened in the IC, I see. Is an experimental weapon being stolen from one criminal gang to another really that big of an event to react to? Politicians must be getting really bored.

I actually intend on making that artifact something of a running joke in this RP. It's still in the Shanghai International Settlement, so searching for it in Copenhagen is going to be fruitless. Sven and Johanna are very much Shanghai criminals, not government agents. They're not going to bring the evidence of their crime to Scandinavia through three layers of heavy customs.

But now that the owners are dead, sooner or later somebody will steal it from its dead owners. Then somebody else can steal it from them. So it goes.

Nothing of significance really happened in the IC thread so far. The only real event is this mess over Shanghai, where an experimental American weapon got stolen again and for some inexplicable reason everybody thinks it's super important.
