IC post up, 30 minutes ago. Sven and Johanna get their little happy ending (if you can call it such), Statsminister Hansson pulls a non-response on the Luddites, and the Consortium has succeeded in pulling some qualified personnel from Lund. These are interesting times.

Ulls, you're welcome to freely write IC posts conducting activity in Scandinavia. I might write corresponding IC posts if I feel like it, and I'll respond IC'ly if I feel like you're doing too much, but otherwise you don't have to wait for my response posts before you push things forwards with your activities.

At this point all my stuff is on stall waiting for Tracian to apply as Russia. If Tracian doesn't pull an application through in, say, 2 days, I'll just modify my intended storyline and push it forwards on my own. There's only so long I can wait before I need to push the story forwards, although I would really love to play out the idea I discussed with Tracian.

I'm going to sleep now, so I hope to see something when I wake up. Ulls, Arvenia, and you now all have something going that Scandinavia has a close interest in, so surely somebody will post something that will be interesting.

I'm certainly looking forwards to tying the Scandinavian political crisis with a Karelian diplomatic crisis. This RP is the most fun that I've had in an RP in... quite a while. Since that 2117 industrial future thing, actually, and that was a while back.

I also need some inspiration as to the aesthetic, though. There's only so much you can do to convey the feeling of dieselpunk when your only working medium is forum post text and the occasional illustrative image. Perhaps the OP has some ideas?

Russian Polish relations would be interesting. Because leaving the old hostility aside, the Whites probably never tried to invade Poland.

Russia would certainly still be wary of Germany, and from the war, of Austria and Hungary. The Ottomans might also be a problem...

Russia would probably drop all her claims against Poland.. but it will still seek to retake the Baltic states.
