Johanna Ent'el

The blaster shots took her by surprise. Johanna was luckily behind a crate, safe from sight. At least, she would be for as long as it took the stormtroopers to get there. They were clearly interested in the smoke, which she assumed was their way of flushing her out of there. She'd use it as a smokescreen immediately. After a very brief headcount, Johanna figured taking all of the troopers on alone was suicide. She'd have to think of something else.

Not wasting any more time dwelling on this, Johanna ran to another piece of cover. She continued this until she was within running distance of a ship, a TIE, to be precise. "Need a distraction..." She muttered. Not too far away, she located a control panel, and after a short analysis, she figured it was connected to one of the TIE docking mechanisms. Johnna moved over to it, hitting some buttons that she knew only vaguely. She was in direct sight of the stormtroopers, now. Her only hope would be to get the claw that guided some of the ships to ram into some of the others, creating havoc in the hangar.

Aboard the Typhon

The troopers were just beginning to examine the billowing white smoke when a series of rumbling crashes from behind them sounded through the hangar. Whirling around, the white-armored soldiers were just in time to see the first in a series of TIE fighters fall neatly from its docking rack- and explode on the hangar's floor. Another one dropped several seconds later, suffering a similar fate.

The stormtroopers, staggering back to their feet, were shouting and howling at the top of their lungs, and at least two had been killed or incapacitated by the explosion. Far too distracted to notice Johanna, the stormtroopers were now throwing themselves at control panels in a desperate attempt to prevent yet another starfighter's untimely destruction.
The Commodore would have their heads for this, and they knew it.

Johanna Ent'el

The initial explosions forced Johanna to shield herself, the heat reaching her easily. The admiral seized her opportunity right after composing herself, and made for the nearest TIE that wasn't in danger. She climbed inside, starting it up. It hummed to life, and after a few seconds of fiddling with the controls, it began to hover. Johanna didn't know how to fly any of the TIE models, but she knew basic controls. It began hovering, soon to leave the hangar unless the troopers did anything to stop her.

Aboard the Typhon

The troopers started when they heard the whir of engines from behind them. Turning, they stood frozen in horror as one of the undamaged TIEs began ascending and shakily making its way out of the auxiliary hangar.

"What are you waiting for, you maggots!" their officer cried. "Blast them!" Bright red laser fire streaked across the hangar bay, sometimes striking the rogue fighter but doing no real damage. Small arms would be completely ineffective even against a poorly-armored, unshielded TIE.
"Get the hangar turbolaser turrets online!" the stormtrooper Lieutenant was screaming, still uselessly blasting at the fighter.

"We're trying, sir! I'm afraid that they seem to have been damaged during the explos-"

"You useless bucketheads! We're all going in the brig because of your incompetence!"
The men watched with impotent rage as the TIE fighter slipped out of the hangar and into space. Among the swarms of transports and other craft descending towards Mon Cala it would go unnoticed, and Ent'el was as good as gone.

"Was that- Was that a TIE Defender?" the Lieutenant belatedly gasped. "The ones with hyperdrives?"

"Yes, sir, I believe it was," one of his lackeys answered resignedly. At this the Lieutenant exploded, lobbing his blaster at one unfortunate trooper and his helmet at another. Watching this tantrum in disgust through a video feed was Commodore Karr, on the bridge.

"Sickening, this is," Axon said calmly. "Ensign Nedix, see to it that this Lieutenant is thrown in the brig, and subsequently court-martialed. I won't have delusional thugs in the Stormtrooper Corps. As for his men, they are not at fault. Assign them a few extra duty hours as punishment for this little incident."

"Yes, sir. What about that Defender? Don't you want it stopped or shot down?"

"If she hasn't already escaped she would be impossible to track down, anyways," Karr said, a slight glint in his eyes. Perhaps she could still be caught, but Karr wanted to save her defeat for another day. Worthy opponents were such a delightful treat.

"Of course, Commodore."

Message to Grand Admiral Kuat

Sir, I am pleased to report that Jarnika is once again under Imperial control. The Rebel fleet which was assaulting the planet was destroyed, the enemy ships that where destroyed included a Mon Cal MC30c.
Imperial forces on the ground where reinforced by troopers from the Oblivion and complete ground control was established in two days.
I am currently on my way to Rendezvous with the fleet.
