"If practicable, yes. The forms of war allow for the execution of any combatant not found in military uniform if engaged in combat, but ultimately the pacification of this sector will rest upon not raising a generation to hate the Imperial soldiers that killed their fathers and brothers. It is also important to note that we do not know the extent to which rebellious thought has gained traction in the larger communities of the worlds that we shall soon be landing upon- men and women who would calmly return to the rule of law and order may take up arms if we kill their friends in cold blood."

"Essentially, you possess the upper hand in all matters of force, so do not rush to destroy what the Empire can use. Disable what ships you can, seize prisoners with preference to killing rebels. The Empire can always use more slaves if they cannot be rehabilitated, and dismantling their covert networks will rely on what information we can extract from captured operatives."

Clixon bowed his head in a quick nod, "It will be done as you say Grand Admiral, Shallat will be under imperial control again soon, now by your leave i wish to return to my ship to prep my crew."
He then returned to his shuttle after being dismissed.

The old starfighter was a borderline wreck. Parts of the wings were missing, electronics were exposed, some pieces had been salvaged from TIE fighters and placed over more menacing, sharp blast points. And there was a handheld Ion Torpedo launcher wired up to the underside of the ship.

Jek-El felt bad for the crew, that was a significantly harder stop then he planned. A ship like that, captain was probably roaring with anger at this point, he was lucky he could still dock. And the poor droid had accidentally fed-back the power from the repeater, he'd be fine after a reset but for now he was down. He prepared to exit the rickety fighter, and the hiss of the dock locking around the ship signified his exit. He kept his hood down, knowing that if they were Imperials he'd have been blown out of the sky. He pushed the cockpit up with some force, and it creaked open angrily. He stepped out, placing his hands above his head upon seeing the Saber-staff being held in an awfully menacing fashion, and the wave of anger he felt course over him.
"Now, I can explain." He said, keeping his hands firm on his head.

Jedi Master Zaknafein aboard the Aurora

"No, you listen here." Zaknafein said in a quiet, deadly voice. "Your impatience and carelessness nearly scuttled this ship and killed 17 people. We just about had a fix on you when you pulled your little stunt." Pausing to glare at the newcomer, Zaknafein took another breath "Whoever taught you to use the force obviously neglected to teach you the first principal rule. No matter what you do the laws of physics always apply. So what happens when you stop a Freighter traveling through zero gravity at 3,000 kilomoeters per hour? why, even with inertial dampeners and lateral stabilizers active it could break apart in outer space, which it almost did. You sir, almost killed everyone aboard this ship and yourself. So please. Explain." Zaknafein crossed his arms in front of his chest to keep his hands away from the hilts of his lightsabers and forced himself to find his center and achieve calm.

Mon Cala(Dac), Mon Calamari System, Calamari Sector, Outer Rim

Eight Imperial corvettes suddenly plunged into the system, dropping neatly out of hyperspace and into the midst of the battle. The two Star Destroyers, the Tigris and Justicar, were already making short work of the shipyards' heavier defenses with their dozens of turbolaser batteries, whilst their faster Tartan patrol cruiser escorts zipped around the larger ships, dispatching clouds of enemy starfighters alongside the Star Destroyers' TIE complements.
The fresh IPV-1s would only serve to hammer the final nail further into Mon Cala's coffin.

"This is the Reviler reporting in for duty, Vice Admiral," Captain Bront signaled the Tigris. Already Bront's ships were moving into position to flank the Rebel ships and provide the perfect distraction for Cyrus to launch his assault shuttles, and for Major Mott and his men to capture the enemy ships and shipyard.

Far away, orbiting the forgettable world of Pakuuni, Axon Karr set contemplating the situation. Captain Bront had arrived at the battle, further tipping the scales in the Empire's favor, and unless the mysterious enemy Admiral arrived soon he would be losing perhaps the most critical shipbuilding planet under Rebel control.

Commodore Dekati's fleet had arrived right on Void-Hunter Squadron's heels, apparently itching for a fight. Karr wasn't about to deny them the chance.
"Lieutenant Thame, send a new transmission to the Augmentor; advise Commodore Dekati to have all of ships prepared to jump to Mon Cala, should the need arrive."

Everything was going well so far; it was now all up to their elusive enemy, and whether or not he deemed Mon Cala worthy of a relief force.

Captain Rudolf Clixon
Shallat Space
Aboard the Oblivion

"Sir the enemy ships are forming up, 3 Nebulon Bs and a couple old blockade runners, the Endurance has signaled that they are beginning there approach."

"Launch all tie fighters, have them destroy any enemy fighter opposition in the area, tie bombers focus on the Nebulons."

"Focus all fire power on the nearest Nebuolon, once it has been disabled switch to the next one, and signal the Endurance that our orders are to spare any surrendering rebels."

Clixon watched as the Oblivions 60 heavy turbolasers quickly tore the first Nebulons shield to shreds and quickly crippled it, they then switched to the next and did the same thing to the second and third Nebulons. The gunners had specific orders not to target the bridges.

The Blockade runners shields went down faster than expected and where blown to pieces.

The Space Stations minor defenses where quickly disabled.

"Lieutenant hail all three ships"

Once all three captains where gathered as blue images he stated his demands, "I have been given specific orders to spare any rebels that surrender, I will be sending boarding parties to each of your ships, if you surrender you will live, if your resist my stormtroopers will leave and we will blow your ship to pieces, your choice, Clixon out."

He watched as the three boarding ships made there way to there respective targets and latched on.

"How is the space station going?" He asked

"Sir the station boarding parties have reported that they have met and dealt with minor resistance they report that the station will be in our hands again within the hour, and the Nebulon boarding parties are reporting no resistance at all, they have detained most of the ships crews."

Good, this was going very good

Mos Eisley, Tatooine:

S-267 walked into the Cantina, knowing the impending doom that awaited him. He had been the only member to escape the chaos, the imperials somehow knew of the invasion. Those Tie-Fighters had to have been on standby. He watched the stormtroopers ruthlessly slaughter the rebels and capture the rest. He once again ordered a drink and then slid into the booth where the men sat.

"We have heard the news and... are displeased to say the least. We assumed someone with your skill set would be of more use in a..." the first man started but was cut of by S-267 "My skills deal with smuggling, assassinating, and other crime related tasks. I am simply one soldier, I cannot win this war." Another man cut in "Well, we understand it wasn't your fault. From the sounds of it the imperials had defensive measures for their cargo. I can't blame you, but, you did manage to escape. This was something that our other troops couldn't do."

The first man broke in "No, he could have betray them. How are we to trust this man?" To this the second man replied with "He was paid by us, he was recommended for his loyalty to his contracts. He has already done a mission for us with success."

S-267 grunts "I didn't come back here to listen to you decide what my intentions are. I understand their will be a pay cut, but that is understandable. Will you have any more jobs for me?" The men look at each other and then one leans in and in a very low voice says "There is a mission sent by rebel high command that seems to fit your skill set finely. Unfortunately, I haven't the slightest clue what this mission may be as the command felt to keep this mission under the table. You are to go to leave Tatooine, and go to an undisclosed location. This location will be forwarded to your ships's navigation computer once I inform the rebel high command of your acceptance."

S-267 thought for a second "I will do it, I assume that the pay will be high." The man nodded and then said "Best of luck, may the force be with you"

S-267 left the Canteen, and then entered the streets of Mos Eisley. It was know he knew the rebels trusted him, and he would remain loyal to them as long as they kept giving him work. This was the way of his business.

Space above Ryloth, Zann Consortium

Image

Tyber sat on the bridge of his ship, looking down on the deserted planet below. He listened to reports of corruption throughout the galaxy, whilst keeping his tabs on his developing droid army.

"The Tibanna gas shipping lanes to the Empire has slowed down to a crawl. The Empire will begin seeing it's control dwindle in the sector, whilst we reap the rewards."

Tyber contemplated for a moment, and responded to the Defiler (his main units of corruption), "This will work well indeed for us. Just who exactly is set for taking the blame here?"

"Evidence has already been planted making Prince Xizor and the Black Sun seemingly at fault.

"Excellent. Your next assignment is Tatooine. Which shouldn't be too difficult considering the amount of support we have there in the underground."

"Yes sir. I will see too it."

The defiler left leaving Zann to his devices.

"We have a massive land force already at our disposal. We just need more shipyards. The amount of capitals we have are too low, with the amount of outdated frigates and smaller ships overpowering our larger class frigates."

Like clockwork, his partner Urai Fen called in.

"Ah Urai, it's always nice to see a familiar face that isn't covered by a mask."

"Sir, our spies have rooted out support on the planet Siskeen in the Hunnover's sector. And our base on Gaulus has proceeded to be constructed smoothly and on time."

"Excellent."

"Tyber, you said before that we needed a boost to our space defenses yes?"

"Definitely. Our ground defenses are built to a superior level, but those can only last so long against an imperial bombardment."

"Well, we have found an old CIS space construction facility over the planet, and a droid factory, which they were using to stockpile ships and units before the rise of the Empire. It has since gone forgotten."

"That's great, we can add the ships to our navy. Though I assume most if not all are outdated."

"Yes, but it can create Lucrehulk cruisers, which although outdated, has quite enough fighters and sheer size to make up for it. Not only that but most of the ships are automated by droids. Making them easily viable for our future war effort."

Tyber thought for a moment before responding with, "This is a fortunate turn of events. For now use the shipyards for creating ships, and when we have the time we can create a more modern shipyard. However the ships will be a valuable asset for the time being. Thanks Urai, you always know how to make my day a little better."

"The pleasure is mine, Tyber." The transmission cut.

Tyber sat back and laughed in his chair. "Our wave of corruption will slowly take over the galaxy one planet at a time. The clock is ticking, Empire, Jabba, all who have double crossed me. The clock is ticking."

2nd Battle for Dac

The Mon Calamari and Quarren had been waiting years for the return of the Empire and had not been unprepared.

The dozens of Heavy Turboblasters and hundreds of lighter ones we knocking Imperial ships out of space and turning them into fireballs. X-Wings, A-Wings and an number of other more outdated fighters sped into battle engaging the ties. The Tie's had numbers certainly, but X-Wings and A-Wings outclassed them throughly.

The Nebulon B Frigates, CR-90s, GR-75s and the pair MC30s hugged the shipyard taking advantage of the superior shielding technology of Dac and the shipyards basically giving them the high ground. As the Tartan patrol cruisers darted around and moved in close they became sitting ducks when the Nebulon B Frigates were order to focus on them one by one, and the IPV-1's suffered a similar fate.

At this point Commander Nannon of the rebels realized that by sending the anti starfighter craft, the IPV's and Tartan patrol cruisers forward the imperials had made a crucial error. He unleashed his reserve units of Y-Wings and had them make a run on the star destroyers escorted by several squadrons of A-Wings which had broken off from the main engagement.

With he Star Destroyers held back and their fighter escort far ahead they had little defense against what would become known as "Trench Run Disease".

Pilots facing large starships would fly close to the surface of a ship's outer hull, using trenches to avoid enemy fire. Starfighters could thus deliver their payload with impunity to sensitive ship segments, assuming a successful escort against enemy starfighters.

Star destroyers especially earlier models were designed to combat other captial ships and were not effective against fast and agile snubfighters. The Y-Wings unleashed proton bombs and torpedos, one squadron eqipped with ion cannons set about disabling the shields of the large craft while subsequent squadrons took out major systems, communications arrays, sensors, shield generators, engines and the bridge. Many critical hits were scored in the first wave alone and more bombing runs were coming.

But the crucial question remained... Where was the rest of the Dac defense fleet?
---------------------------------------------------------------

Bren Katar had heard from Rebel listening posts and radar installations that an attack on Mon Cala was incoming. But instead of engaging with the enemy fleet and assisting the planet, he elected to hold back and defend other key planets in the area. He did not believe the Imperials could take Mon Cala, certainly not with that force, and he knew that the imperials were not stupid enough to think it. He looked at his strategic map at other potential targets for the Imperials...

Acting Commodore Axon Karr

"Commodore, we're facing heavy resistance," Captain Plutarch sputtered in between shouting orders to his crew. "The Rebels have several Mon Calamari star cruisers along with the usual frigates and starfighter squadrons-"

The commander of the Justicar cut out for severals seconds before reappearing.

"-but nothing our Squadron won't be able to handle. We urgently request reinforcement."

"Very well, Captain," Karr said, turning to his crew. "Send out the order to jump to Mon Cala. I want the Stalwart, Despoiler, and Manhunter to jump in together accompanied by our Carrack and Lancer frigates and the Vigil corvettes, as we discussed. The Domionion and Revenant will be next, along with the Sovereign and the remainder of our corvettes and cruisers. Oh, and don't forget to tell Dekati and his fleet to make the jump too."

The Rebels had some sense of tactical sense, at least. With the Tartan patrol cruisers out of the way they scrambled their Y-Wings and sent them hurtling towards the Imperial Star Destroyers, ion cannons and proton torpedoes ready to do serious damage to the valuable capital ships.
It was a crucial mistake on the Imperial part, but the situation was somewhat salvaged by good timing.

Just as the Y-Wings had finished their first bombing run, managing to cripple the Justicar's shield generator and knock out a few of the Tigris' turbolaser batteries, the rest of Void-Hunter Squadron jumped into the system, and with an efficiency and fervor that only a young, battle-ready fleet can muster, they spewed green death at the Rebel starships.

Corvettes rounded on the bomber squadrons immediately, dispersing their formations and quickly driving them back away from the capital ships. These reinforcements nearly quadrupled as more and more Imperial ships came out of lightspeed, sending even more TIE squadrons out in order to win dogfights by sheer numbers.

The Acting Commodore swiftly took command of his armada. "Revenant, launch your TIE complements immediately. Broadside and Raider corvettes stay near the Star Destroyers; all other light ships advance and dispatch their fighter squadrons." All of his orders were broadcast throughout the Squadron instantly by frenzied comms officers.

"Tigris and Justicar, keep yourselves safe but try to concentrate fire on that Mon Calamari capital ship, the one closest you; the Despoiler will assist you. It's no match for the concentrated fire of two Imp-Deuces. Stalwart and Dominion, take the other one. Cruisers and frigates, start hunting Rebel corvettes and prevent them from targeting our fighters.
And Manhunter," he added, referencing the Interdictor-cruiser, "pull any nearby fleets out of hyperspace and put them out of position. Just in case anyone decides to join the party."

Firing out orders like a repeating blaster, Karr was truly in his element for his first real commanding battle, one that, thankfully, looked to be in his favor.

Dekati took to his senses and truly riled himself for the fight. He arose from his command chair, looked to Kaeola, and nodded. "Everyone, realign to Mon Cala's direction and keep watchful. Until we move, I want all ships to keep an eye out in case of a trap." He got to watching over all of his staff, and decided to take a trip down to the hanger bays. "All fighters accounted for. Bombers all fueled and loaded. And transports are ready, just in case. He looks across the large amount of craft about the hangars, admiring the handiwork of his men, feeling pride for his crew and hands. "We're all ready to show the Rebellion and those Star Destoryers that an old fashioned carrier like this can still take on a foe with ease." He marches back up and to the other of the bridges, where the mysterious and stern High Colonel "Graveyard", whom was the leader of the special forces assigned to the Augmentor for its ability to maintain and hold the TIE Hunters on board.

"We're ready to do our job, sir. You keep our men and fighters up and fighting for this, and we'll make sure the ship is clear from Rebellion out here and on Mon Cala." Graveyard worked on calmly creating plans and manuvers for his wing of fighters.

"I don't doubt it, Graveyard. You've been renowned for your use of those fighters. Alike to the skill of Baron Fel, may I add." He knows Graveyard might doubt that, but he felt honest on his answer.

"Right... I don't understand sir, why you never stayed a wing commander. You could've been a Marshal. Could've been the greatest fighter pilot yourself." Graveyard finally looked back to Dekati, whom is looking out of the bridge.

"To command a starfighter, is to defend and fight for your squadron: to command a ship like the Augmentor means defending and fighting for everyone on it, the fleet with it, and the ones it defends for." He steps away and looks back to Graveyard. "I'll let you have your time to plan. We're moving on Commodore Karr's move."

And said time, was now: Dekati returned to the other bridge, and sat down. "We're heading to Mon Cala: we shall aid Karr and destroy those aquatic traitors to the Empire!"

And thus, the fleet begun to move again: Small escorts, to the cruisers, to the Augmentor itself.

The Y-Wings returned after damaging a number of star destroyers. Beaten for sure but not broken, meanwhile the imperial ships attacking the shipyard had been almost wiped out. The small craft stood no chance against the heavy ships, and the the lack of support from star destroyers and the imperials heavy guns rendered them defenseless. The ties soon suffered a similar fate, lacking shields and weapons to damage the heavy turboblasters and ships they could only hold off their doom.

5 Mon Calamari Cruisers had joined the defensive line around the shipyard as well as a few more frigates and Corvettes. They now prepared for any renewed attack, taking a defensive formation around the shipyard, meanwhile the ships moored that were space-worthy were being manned and started lifting off to join the battle line.

Acting Commodore Axon Karr

"Augh!" Captain Bront screamed horribly over his comlink as the bridge of his ship, the Reviler, was hit head on by a proton torpedo, presumably killing him. Axon grimaced; but you couldn't come to fight like this and not be prepared to take losses. He examined the battle from his command chair. He had given out orders to all units, and now it was just up to the individual men of the fleet.

The Dominion was maneuvering towards one of the irregularly-shaped Mon Calamari star cruisers in order to bring its full firepower to bear on the Rebel ship. Since the Stalwart was also focusing fire on the hapless cruiser, over a hundred turbolaser batteries were now peppering its surface, rapidly wearing down its shields and beginning to deal serious damage. The same was occurring with the Justicar, Tigris, and Despoiler, all broadsiding their own target with merciless fire. This wasn't to mention the innumerable TIE bomber squadrons constantly strafing the enemy capital ships and dropping payloads of proton torpedoes on them, making sure to target critical systems such as the shields, engines, and heavy weapons.

Karr whipped around as Commodore Dekati's fleet fell into the system; excellent, more firepower. Dekati's carrier flagship would possess many additional squadrons of TIE's to contribute to the battle, not to mention the sheer firepower that the Commodore was bringing to the table.

"Try to coordinate with Commodore Dekati," Axon ordered. "Tell him that we're prioritizing the enemy capital ships, and assistance in that area, particularly with TIE bombers, would be greatly appreciated."

As he spoke, the Broadside-corvettes lurking within the protective umbrella of the Imperial Star Destroyers unleashed a fresh volley of diamond boron missiles, which would hopefully exterminate several enemy starfighter squadrons.

What with Dekati's fleet joining in, and the sheer firepower of the Imperial Star Destroyers, the Rebel defense looked to be eroding...

High Orbit above Tauber, Bridge of the Fealty

At the bridge the lone figure of the white-suited Grand Admiral looked tiny, a speck of light against the dark uniforms around him, much like the swelling fleet in orbit above the verdant jungle world of Tauber were as tiny pinpricks of gray and luminescence against the endless sea of stars. Sometimes Jarn forgot just how vast the cosmos was, and how insignificant the affairs of men could seem against that black void. Indeed, as he stared forward from the bridge of the massive Imperial battlecruiser, it seemed like a toy compared to the giant green and blue marble that loomed before it. The flashes of red and green in the distance that marked the skirmish above the planet were as gnats buzzing, fireflies in the luminescence of his native world across a lake, or children at play.

But they were very real. The force that the twin Grand Admirals had amassed to return these restive worlds to the Imperial fold was overwhelming, and Kuat was glad that he did not have the role of the communications and command and control officers that huddled below in the bowels of the bridge, each man directing a flotilla that could lay waste to the planet. Surely their ears were filled with barked orders and relayed instructions, but for the few minutes after the Fealty exited hyperspace, the bridge was almost quiet, the Grand Admiral watching as the red lights slowly winked out.

The battle was over swiftly. The Alliegance-class battlecruiser nosed its way down towards the planet's atmosphere as the all-clear signal was given, the few rebel vessels that had opposed the assault having been either turned to subatomic vapor, reduced to orbiting scrap, or surrendered to the massive force assembled against which even those foolish ideologues could see victory was impossible, and resistance would mean death.

Admiral Grant had originally thought to take the lead, but the two men had determined that perhaps in this circumstance it would be wisest for Kuat to lead the negotiations. His lack of investment in the region made him more of an impersonal representative of the Empire, as compared to Grant, whose elitist tendencies had in the past alienated inhabitants of the Inner Rim.

Thus it was the dour Jarn that opened the comms channel to the Rebel elements on the planet, an open address that was soon responded to by a heavyset man with sloped eyebrows and a ruddy complexion.

"I am Grand Admiral Jarnassus Kuat, of the Core Worlds Oversector. You are?"

"I am Rez Palava, Grand Admiral Kuat. Tauber is an independent system. Leave at once if you do not wish for war with the Free Systems of the South."

The Grand Admiral smiled. This little man had pluck, at least. That might have floored an officer with less individual volition, but not a man who wore the white of the most powerful members of the most powerful organization in the known universe.

"Tell me, Rez Palava, will these Free Systems of the South prevent the fleet now in orbit over your world from razing your world to the ground?"

Jarnassus tapped his fingers gently on the console of the Fealty, waiting with what appeared to be a genuine expression of puzzlement on his face as the rebel officer foundered. After a bit of spluttering, he rejoined, his face slightly red.

"You will never win! The Empire will fall!"

Kuat sighed. "Even if the Empire falls, Master Palava, Tauber will not necessarily be around to see it. I am a reasonable man. There is no need for innocents to die. Those fleet elements that you thought would defend your world are scattered, their lion's share destroyed without hardly scratching the force here assembled. Scan our forces from your abode there on the surface. Tell me we cannot bring your world to heel, and return order and prosperity where your rebellion has led only to brother killing brother and death."

The rebel's face screwed up as if to spit, but then deflated. Perhaps around him other people spoke, men who could see the sheer force that now occupied orbit over the planet.

The Grand Admiral pounced. "Surrender, commander. I give my word as Grand Admiral of the Empire that your men will not be summarily executed. Those found not to be guilty of serious crimes will be allowed to return to their families, provided they swear never again to take up arms against the Empire. Even those found guilty of crimes less than murder will receive mere prison sentences, on Mechis III, not far from here. There is no need for your friends to die, for their sons to grow up without fathers."

Rez's Palava's face fell further, ashen, and through the commlink the lord of Kuat could hear arguing voices. After several moments the man spoke, his voice like the grave.

"You... have reason, Grand Admiral. My men will stand down, so long as you keep your word." The rebel drew himself up, the weight of responsibility suddenly lifted from his shoulders. "Grand Admiral Kuat, do you know why we declared independence? Scalis II. Any empire that has butchers in their employ is not worthy of alliegance, whatever their strength."

Jarn sighed internally, but carefully kept his emotion from reaching his eyes. "Commander, the incident at Scalis II was, I'm told, one of rampant religious indoctrination and declared holy war. The Empire does not spill blood needlessly. Only where more innocents will be saved by orbital bombardment is it authorized- I have yet to destroy a world, and I have served in this navy since it was still that of the vanished corrupt Republic."

It was a lie, yes, but one that needed to be told. Perhaps, as the rebels were taken in to custody and processed, it would spread. At any rate, the military transports began landing across Tauber, unmolested. One more world returned to Imperial compliance.

"Focus on the bombers"

The Superior A-Wings and X-Wings broke into groups of three, hunter killer groups. They supported by the tight defensive formation of the rebel fleet and the point defense system of the shipyard turboblasters were quickly whittling down the bombers despite the numerical superiority.

A Nebula-B frigate was crippled by the bombers, the power gone and slowly listing in space unresponsive. Admiral Nannon had watched two corvettes explode just a few hundred meters from his bridge after being hit by a few lucky diamond missiles.

His cruisers were exchanging fire with the imperials, the imperials had firepower certainly but he had 5 Mon Calamari cruisers, they had shields far more advanced then the imperials and with a number of redundant generators and backups to boot. Any break in the shields would take awhile.

Admiral Nannon studied the battlefield and picked out the lead Star Destroyer Dominion

"All Cruisers focus all your fire on the lead Star Destroyer, keep your distance. Have the Long Range cruisers do the same. Everyone else stay in defensive formation and focus on destroying the Tie Bombers. Y-Wings back in action start your bombing runs on the star destroyers that get too close, even the odds against our cruisers"

Nannon nodded as 3 tie bombers burst in near unison in front of him

Acting Commodore Axon Karr

"Sir, we're taking heavy fire! It looks like the majority of the enemy fleet is focusing their fire on us!" a Lieutenant shouted above the din of battle.

"Shields are deteriorating!" a frantic tech called.

Axon gritted his teeth, and rose from his command chair. "If they're focusing fire on us, that means that all of our other ships have an opportunity. Launch assault shuttles!"

Just minutes after he had given the order, dozens of armored shuttles jam-packed with Imperial troopers, including Major Mott's 738th Legion, shot out of all of the Star Destroyers' hangar bays. Equipped with powerful engines, they surged towards the enemy capital ships with surprising speed and agility and, shadowed by TIE fighters, rammed themselves into several Rebel ships, depositing hundreds of stormtroopers and shocktroopers inside them.
Many were shot down before they even got close to the enemy ships, but the Rebels were unable to switch their entire firepower over to target the shuttles in time, and a few got through, providing a valuable distraction.
And that was just the first wave.

Dekati was ready for everything the Rebels had to toss at him: he watched over the battlefield, and begun to ready his plan to aid the Dominion from the slowly encroaching Rebel fleet.

"All cruisers! Begin firing at the nearest Mon Cala ship! Deploy all ion-capable craft to disable its shields! Raise our shields' power and deploy all fighters to deal with their groupings! I want all frigates and corvettes moving behind cruisers and hunting squadrons out along with the fighters! If I see any of you retreating back, I'll order you terminated on sight!"

And soon enough, mass deployments of fighters and bombers from the Augmentor and the other ships began quickly, the other ships readying a pattern that allows cruisers to take the brunt of the damage while dealing it out to the attackers after it, while any fighters or bombers had to deal with an onslaught of TIE's and laser cannons aimed at them. The crowning feature is the elusive TIE Hunters from the Augmentor, which were ready to search and destroy the X-Wings that it rivaled.Nestled with the escort of craft, a group of special bombers: the TIE Interdictors, whom were brimming and ready to cripple the ships directly with ion bombs and proton warheads.

"An average MC-80 has 5400 crew, plus a few hundred marines" Admiral Noonan thought as the armored transported crashed into his cruisers. Though shadowed by a few ties, the Rebels had establish fighter superiority and managed to take a few transports down.

"Continue the pressure on the lead star destroyer, stick together tight formation"

He looked at his reserves 5 GR-75 transports filled with marines, he ordered each one to latch onto a different Mon Cal cruiser and deposit the marines.

"Lets see" Though Admiral Noonan, 5400 crew, 200-300 marines and security on each of the cruisers, plus the further 100 marines from each transport. All that versus the 100-200 stormtroopers that each of those ships deposited. "I like those odds"

Admiral Noonan watched as 2 A-Wings made a run on one of the ships latched onto a Nebula frigate striking a vital part and blowing it to smithereens. A few others were lining up to do the same.

"All ships prepare to repel boarders, they have been incredibly reckless with starfighters. They can't have many remaining, I want the A-Wings and X-Wings to provide a screen against potential boarding actions and fighters."

"Y-Wings form up for a bombing run ill give you a target soon."

The fresh wave of Tie's found themselves once again tangled with a screen of X-Wing's and Y-Wings, that were specifically guarding against a potential fighter/bomber attack. That combined with a tight highly defensive anti fighter formation made the bombing run from the interdictors incredibly difficult, the runs with ion weapons met a similar difficulty. While the Rebel fighters were tired, weakened and outnumbered, they still had a superior formation and position as well as excellent starcraft.

X-Wings be damned, they may have that fancy Incom heavy hitting laser cannons, but the TIE Hunters can match up even better against them, especially on Y-Wings. Their ion cannons and fast firing guns begin to go to work on any enemy fighter nearing them, and the hundreds of TIE Fighters and Interceptors aid their dogfights to place stress on the enemy pilots, waiting for them to crack on the crippling power of the Hunter's guns.

Acting Commodore Axon Karr

As much as Axon hated to think of the boarding parties as expendable, that was just what they were. A cheap distraction. And if they could kill a few hundred Rebels too, than all the better. After all, Imperial stormtroopers, despite an often-laughed-at reputation, were crack troops, and would have no problem defending themselves and tying up Rebel troops for a while.

"It appears they are launching a renewed fighter offensive." The Commodore grinned. "They must think we are low on starfighters. Au contraire." Even as he spoke the words, swarms of advanced TIE models were streaking towards the battle from Dekati's fleet, not to mention the numerous surviving fighters of the Void-Hunter Squadron. It was true, they had taken heavy casualties, but now they were being more than replenished by the starfighter complements of Dekati's five carrier ships.

"Sir, they've not given up. They're still focusing fire on us."

"And it looks as if Dekati's TIE's are being hindered by those enemy fighters. We'll assist them. Reroute some Interceptor squadrons to help out Dekati, and order all of our TIE Bombers to reform and be escorted by TIE Fighters for strafing runs on those MC80's. Target main and auxiliary shield systems." Speaking of fighters...

"I want all of their surviving starfighters dead. Order our Broadside corvettes to begin targeting packs of A- and Y-Wings, they're the most dangerous. And move up additional Tartan-patrol cruisers to support their actions, and cut off any enemy fighter offensives."

Aboard a Mon Call Cruiser

The ramp carrying Mott and his men lowered, leading to the first few shocktroopers to be shot and taken down. A fury of blaster fire surrounded his company, but the rebels were quickly pushed back as they were just regular maintenance crews and the shock of Imperial Troops landing on their ships worked against them. Mott had his battalion spread thin as he wanted to take every cruiser simultaneously, crippling the rebel fleet in one swift blow, before moving onto the shipyards.

He looked at Captain Lancer as he split the company in two, leading half to the engine rooms, while Mott took the other half towards the bridge. Every step was another fight between his men and the defending rebels, but all he needed to do was secure the crucial systems and the battle would be theirs. However, as they continue to advance, they were halted as rebel marines were beginning to shore up their defenses and put up more of a fight compared to the average crew. While they weren't as well trained or equipped as a shocktrooper, their numbers were the issue as Mott was fighting a ship that most likely had a full crew, and a massive number of marines, with only half of his company.
Uh, they're called green hearts.

You racist.

Anti fighter frigates and corvettes move in a supporting capacity between the Mon Cal Cruisers and any incoming ties or boarding craft.

"Pull back Y-Wings prepare a bombing run" said Noonan staring at the Dominion, its shields failing under the combined fire

Aboard a Mott's Mon Call Cruiser

100 Rebel troops from the GT-75 transport unloaded in the docking bay and ran to support the marines holding the line against the boarding troops

Acting Commodore Axon Karr

"Commodore, shields- shields are down!"

Axon was starting to get annoyed, dangerously so. "Two can play at this game," he snarled. "All capital ships and cruisers, concentrate on the Mon Calamari cruiser directly ahead of the Dominion. Bring down its shields, and then its bridge, and then its turbolasers. And then, rinse and repeat."

One could see the Rebel star cruiser's shields flicker under the strain of literally hundreds of turbolaser batteries as six Imperial Star Destroyers, not to mention dozens of smaller frigates and cruisers, all focused fire on the ship. For even a heavily shielded Mon Calamari ship to resist this much firepower would be miraculous, or disastrous, depending on what side you were on.

Karr smiled grimly as he saw his turbolasers make rapid progress on the enemy's shielding, whilst TIE sorties continued to relentless pound the ship with proton torpedoes, despite heavy fire. His corvettes were all attacking enemy starfighters, as were the Broadside's with their devastating diamond boron missiles; the enemy fighter presence would be heavily dented by now, the Commodore suspected.

"Sir, shouldn't we-"

"Yes," Axon said, cutting the officer off. "Launch a second wave of assault shuttles to assist Major Mott. Either that will distract their fire long enough for our shields to recover, or most of the shuttles will get through and we can start to capture their ships."

"Now Y-Wings the shields are down!!!" Three squadrons of Y-Wings struck the Dominion with full loads of proton bombs, turning the surface into a series of craters. Meanwhile the Angelis, the lead Mon Calamari Ship had lost its shields itself and began taking a massive pounding searing into the thick hull, the entire port wing getting torn off of floated in between the fleets. Escape pods could begin to be seen leaving the ship.

Major Mott's Mon Cal Cruiser

Explosions rippled through the ship as the Rebels began an assault to take back captured portions of their ship. They began to regain control of certain systems in those areas and began sealing a few choice security doors to isolate and separate the troopers
