I was thinking they worked via kinda "polluting" the ambient energy/air/space what have you and some are more susceptible to it activating than others.

So my power would he activated by manipulat8ng some energy in the air? This including magic and nonmagical powers?

Name: Amos Mackenzie Morgan III, AKA "Southpaw"
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Amos is a young man, close to 5'6" in height and weighing around 130 lbs. Of African American descent, his hair is close cropped to his head, shaved more on the sides than the top, and dark brown/black in coloration. He has a muscled physique from years of exercise, but not overly bulk. More like lean muscle; the muscle that will dodge what you throw at him and hit back even harder.

Young Blood, Warhound or Other?: Young Blood
If YB, Founding Member?: Y/N Y
Bio:

Amos wasn't always balancing his schooling, boxing lessons, and fighting crime in his free time. He was born to a pair of normal, down-to-earth parents who worked hard for the life they lived. That wasn't to say they were wealthy, or impoverished, Amos grew up like any other normal kid in the Big Apple: taking every precaution to survive, except for watching super fights.

Fascinated by the enigmatic personalities and amazing powers of the NASL, Amos grew up with big dreams. By the time he was 9 years old the boy had begged his parents to afford him boxing lessons, not telling them that he wanted to be a superhero but instead that he wanted to learn self-defense and discipline, which they wholeheartedly agreed with. That set the young Amos on a path that he welcomed deep inside his heart. The idol of his training was the former vigilante hero Knock Out; a man with no powers yet still strived to do good in his community. And he was a New Yorker at that! The modern-day heroes quickly fell away in Amos's eyes, especially the ever-annoying Quick Shot, to the legendary Owen Jefferies and his superhero persona Knock Out; a man who changed his city through the works of only his two hands.

By the time he became a teenager, Amos was confident enough in himself to attempt crimefighting himself. His first costume being his boxing clothes and a blue eye mask, Amos surprisingly actually managed to stop a crime after a few mundane afternoons of patrol; even though it was just a purse snatching, he still felt like hero after knocking the criminal to the ground and having him give up the bag. Calling himself Southpaw after his powerful left hook that he had come to be known for in the gym, Amos began balancing the duties of student, athlete, and hero, all while making it home for dinner. But it wasn't all perfect, not every attempt went as great as the first, and Amos did have to admit defeat at the sight of more dangerous perpetrators. More and more bruises on his body, from tussles in all three of his usual locales, and the young man with a big heart just couldn't make it in the sub-par urban educational environment that he was subjected to. That is to say, he was failing some classes, and he was contemplating quitting his vigilante career for his own sake...

When one day, the Morgan household received a letter. From a school in San Diego, willing to pay for Amos's transfer, housing, and anything else required to get the boy a successful education. His stressed parents lept at the chance, which included the necessary documents for all of the housing, all dealt with. Meanwhile, Amos's focus was on the fact that this was a school for superheroes. So at the age of 16, the boy from the Big Apple move across the nation to America's Finest City, with a letter signed with nothing more than T. and a dream.

Amos restrained himself from going out at night to patrol while in school, on account of not wanting to lose the scholarship of a lifetime. But he did manage to find himself a new gym, and for the last year has been teaching the local muscle what it means to be raised in NYC. And he hasn't even been doing bad in school, the better-paid teachers willing to actually sit down and make sure Amos knew the lessons. All in all, it has been an enlightening experience; but Amos still dreams of doing what's right as Southpaw, he just needs to get to the point where he can hold his own against more than just petty thieves.

Powers:
  • Peak Human Condition: Teen: Amos is stronger than any normal kid his age, due to dedicated training and relentless conditioning. Faster, tougher, more stamina, Amos has even bested adults in fights before, though none as trained as he is.
  • ???: Who the heck knows what this kid is capable of!? And it's not unheard of to develop powers later in life... It isn't too late!

Limitations:
  • He's just a human
  • Like
  • Ain't nothing special about him.
  • Yet.
  • Also his fighting style, at this moment, isn't as flexible as he'd like. Anyone who knows how to fight back against a kickboxer can handle him no-problem.

Weaknesses:
  • Just a Human: What it says on the tin.
  • Just a Kid: Despite how skilled he is in fighting, Amos hasn't even had a decade of training under his belt. Gonna need some more practice before he can toe-to-toe with masters.
  • Motion Sickness: Amos isn't so good in vehicles, he can withstand dizziness by closing his eyes but just has a stone in his stomach from the involuntary movement.

Likes: Training (both body and mind!), good food shared with friends, rock/hype music, trading card games.
Dislikes: People who don't consider other's feelings/opinions, colder temperatures, road trips, classroom atmospheres (he gets anxious, man!).

Additional Information
Birthday: March 30th, 1999
Theme song: Stronger - Kanye West
Favorite food: Burritos.
Greatest fear: Getting lost, alone.

In the end, it came out that Amos just... didn't actually have any power. BUT HE DID HAVE PERSEVERANCE!

For the record, since Saleon brought it up: magic is not a superhuman power, nor is it made possible by the crystals. Magic is a discipline, and one that anyone can practice (unless there's something specific that disallows it, as in the case of the Rantu), though some have greater talent for it than others (just as some are better and math and whatnot).

I'd say go with the armor.

My input on the matter is that I don't think it's necessary to elaborate on all that. Shadow could very well only want the city to use it as a background for a character of his or something like that, in which case there's no need to ask further. On the other hand if he does want people to visit the city at some point, we can demand further information then (if it's not provided, then there won't be much to the visit, and people will not want to visit again).

While I appreciate the quality of your writing, there might be some issues with your character's background as a Warhound (mainly the part about attacking the others and apparently killing one). The ability to melt through any material simply via contact seems a bit much, also.

Zark, I had actually only thought to use it for a characters back story, after i made the city app, lol.

That being said, I do have ideas for corporations and such, Bruce Donovan will publicly run a gym there, Giovanni will own a night club of note, there will possibly be branches or the like of certain other factions if allowed.

I was thinking a testing facility of Delta Pharmaceuticals perhaps, possibly some presence of the Shadow Empire, and maybe a plant or such for the Wonder Factory, to test their serums, as there are many desperate people there, and being a tester for a super serum style thing would give some hope.

I will of course make more detailed blurbs about their fronts adn such, if allowed.

Name: Kratt Kaan
Age: 36
Gender: N/A
Race: Teth Taran
Appearance (pics if possible): Kaan resembles Athi, but stands at approximately 8'4 with wrinkled bone-white skin, and has an athletic build. Most of their upper body is covered in ugly battle scars.

The armour that Kaan wears is made of silvery-white biomechanical metal and visually resembles muscle tissue. The helmet is the skull of a large blind reptilian animal with incorporated electronics and metal reinforcement, the teeth of predatory aliens are affixed to the shoulder pads, and a long white cape hangs from the back.
Young Blood, Warhound or Other?: Other
Bio: Kratt Kaan was the second surviving child of Kratt Varr, the chief of the old but weak Clan Kratt. Kaan's older sibling had no interest in ruling and was widely seen as weak and cowardly, and thus when Kratt Varr died and the clan elders came together to declare the new chief, Kaan was unanimously chosen. Upon their ascension to chiefdom, Kaan received the ancestral armour of the Kratt clan. (An ancient artifact unique on Na'ak, subject to several legends regarding its origins, but in reality a relic left behind by the Artisans after a failed attempt to uplift the Teth Taran millions of years ago.)

Kratt Kaan had a mind for strategy and battle, and lead their clan to glory they hadn't seen in centuries, subjugating major clans such as the Othas, Avvirs, and Tvars, and bringing them into a growing "Kratt Empire". Kaan preferred to lead from the front, protected from harm by their ancestral armour, earning an almost religious respect from their followers. A little under fifteen years into Kaan's rule, the Grey appeared in the skies over Na'ak.

Kaan, who was waging war against a coalition of minor powers opposed to the growing Kratt Empire, immediately negotiated a peace treaty, and pledged their forces towards holding off the Grey. Kaan and the other Teth Taran chiefs and warlords were able to do well waging guerrilla warfare against the technologically-superior Greys for a time, but eventually Teth Taran numbers dwindled and Grey numbers swelled, and the Teth Taran were forced to flee on a reprogrammed Grey ship. Kaan left only reluctantly, secretly resenting that the Teth Taran fled instead of heroically fighting to the death against the invaders.

Kaan and their remaining followers wandered the galaxy for a time, stealing and scavenging whatever technology they could find from Theocracy battle sites and junkyard planets, eventually joining a fleet of Teth Taran refugees commanded by the former priest Otha Gant. Since that time Kaan has been Gant's chief lieutenant, commanding the military arm of the refugee fleet. Gant has started the journey towards Earth, hoping that humanity and the Hadrians will sympathize with their plight, and Kaan travels with them.
Powers:

  • Super Strength: Kaan can deadlift around 1200 lbs, and double that when wearing their ancestral armour
  • Claws: Kaan's got long, sharp claws on their hands and feet, capable of tearing a gash in a brick wall with enough force behind them.
  • Enhanced Thermoception: Kaan can sense infrared radiation, allowing them to "see" heat.
  • Enhanced Smell: Kaan has a highly-sensitive nose and is capable of identifying individual people by smell alone.
  • Enhanced Hearing: Kaan has acute hearing comparable with a dog's, though not superhuman.
  • Military training: Kaan is an expert tactician, strategist, and swordsman
  • Ancestral armour: Kaan's ancestral armour, aside from enhancing their strength, is also incredibly durable, able to absorb the force of anything less powerful than an anti-tank round without damage.
  • Swords: Kaan wields four steel Teth Taran swords.

Limitations:

Kaan's super strength obeys the laws of physics, and eventually they will start harming themselves if they try to lift heavier and heavier objects.

Weaknesses:

  • Blind: Kaan can't see.
  • Adapted for caves: Kaan is biologically adapted to cold damp environments with little sunlight, and is most used to the caves of Na'ak and dark spaceship interiors, and thus is particularly vulnerable to heat and radiation.
  • Agoraphobic: Kaan instictively sees large, dense crowds as a sign of dangerous overpopulation and thus will be aggressive and irrational when forced to be among large amounts of people.
  • Insecure: Kaan is very concerned with respect and dignity, and thus is unlikely to accept help or mercy, and can be tricked into reckless aggression with a proper challenge.
Likes: War, conflict, fighting, bravery, Teth Taran culture, respect
Dislikes: Other species, cowardice, magic, (Teth Taran have many legends regarding "witches", all negative.) contempt, pity

Additional Information (Optional; remove if unused)-
Birthday: April 21st, 1981
Theme song:
Favorite food: Na'aki cave imps
Greatest fear: The Teth Taran never being respected

What heroes would be involved, if any?: the Young Bloods, Ju'lee Ma'alen
What Villains are involved, if any?: Lycan, Warwolf International, the Reckoning, the Warhounds, Kratt Kaan
Location: Somewhere in the Mojave
What is the heroes’ objective, if any?: Maintain peace between the Teth Taran and humanity
What is the villains’ objective, if any?: Lycan wishes to drive away or kill the Teth Taran, Kratt Kaan and their followers (will eventually) want to overthrow Otha Gant and take a new homeland from humanity by force, the Reckoning wants to manipulate both to start a war and create chaos.
Quick Summary(paragraph please): Thousands of Teth Taran refugees lead by Otha Gant, including the remnants of the Kratt Empire, land their fleet somewhere in the Mojave, and contact the UN seeking the right to settle in the desert. Ju'lee Ma'alen, as Earth's Rainbow Warden and someone sympathetic to fellow victims of the Grey, offers to oversee negotiations as a neutral third party. Agents both Teth Taran and human hidden within the negotiating parties seek to spark a war between the two races, however, one which would inevitably lead to the Teth Taran's destruction. The Young Bloods travel to the site to protect the negotiators and prevent the war from happening, putting them at odds with Lycan and a militarist faction within the Teth Taran settlers.

This mission would occur some time after the start of the RP, after Athi has had a chance to join the Young Bloods and presumably have some character development leading to a greater respect for human culture. Kratt Kaan, whether or not they succeed at overthrowing Gant, would flee with their followers and could become a recurring villain.

App is accepted, and the mission looks good too.

So, edited my City app

EDIT: my first Character is done as well

EDIT 2: I ran the concept by Charmera, and they said it was okay, so here is the concept.

Lazarus, originally his power was a thorough but slow regeneration factor, when his body healed, it would get slightly stronger and tougher, however during a time when he was injured in an accident, the damage was so severe, that he died, or seemingly died, his power was keeping his cells alive as it reformed and healed his body. It was at this time, that a Grey took his body, wanting ti for a Host, for their purposes, but his Regeneration factor brought him back, and the combination of the two changed him, now he still has the original healing factor, as well as another ability, but each time he revives/resurrects, his powers change, aside from the healing factor, due to the corruption of DNa and such brought by the Grey.

EDIT 3: I will be using this link, which goes to random powers, as well as or this generator to decide what the random powers would be, or you guys can, whatever.

Biography: Usteldt. The armor is a mystery to me. I didn't want it, but I was kind of--well-- forced into it. My family often traveled, never staying in one place. My sister and I had gotten used to not sticking around in any town or place. Then, something strange happened while we were playing in the forest during a soft Winter. It was a silly thing, but we often chased each other till we were lost in the woods, scaring the **** out of our parents. Of course, the last time we went out... we found something different. A glistening star struck through the sky. We watched it closely as it creased along the night. It grew larger and larger as we traced it, before we saw it smash in an uproar a distant field away. It was a far off distance, running through the wood, down a large cliff-face, and past a small creak. Soon we came up to the strange rock. The meteor was not a normal meteor to our discovery, bearing a small opening in it.

We went into it, as curiosity often does. My sis was scared to go in, but I had a talent for twisting her arm real good. The inside was nothing like the rocky exterior, with a futuristic feel to it. There were pipes that had burst. It looked to have broken down. I say "it" as I really didn't know what anything in there was. It was strange, alien, even. The inside was also notably larger than it should have been, and I began to scour and look in awe at every unknown shape and thing. My sis was busy shuffling forward like a shy, scared girl does, as I traversed the inside of it, until I came to a lone room.

Inside was an odd receptacle. As I came closer inside, the receptacle opened to reveal a mysterious green crystal. As I moved even closer, the object began to glow a brighter and brighter green. In my obstinance, I then tepid extend out my hand, wanting to touch the strange green object. The receptacle seemed to have been protecting it, but the glass-like substance had cracked open leaving it out and in the open. As soon as I touched the object, The green crystal covered my arm, latching on to it. I tried to pull away, confused, scared, disturbed. It was as solid as a rock, even as I pulled away as hard as I could. Nearly tore a muscle. Then, the glowing object attached to my arm seemingly continued to change shape, having formed a watch around my wrist.

I then ran out of that room, grabbing my sis's hand taking her with me. My little sis nearly tripped as I ran as far as I could. As soon as I thought we were safe, I then tried to remove the strange watch, but soon realized it wouldn't come off. Frightening, to be sure.

Later that day, my parents asked a local sheriff to look into it, more to sooth my mind or get me to shut up. The sheriff looked into it for a bit, but not even a helicopter found anything. In fact, there was no meteor, nor the path in the dirt where the meteor skidded around.

...

By the time any of that meant anything, I had mostly forgotten about that day.

Maybe I just tried to forget it.

Roughly five years later, our family had finally taken to staying in one place. Settled down in a small town far in the rural portions of America. For a little bit, it was nice and peaceful. There were always stories of great superheroes saving lives and swooping into burning buildings, but they were about the city. The town was desolate.

There was never anything that happened. Until, the nightmarish horrors that we only heard terrorizing cities appeared in our town.

A strange inter-dimensional rift opened near the edge of town. Everybody in town saw it, and after a while, one of the farmers moved over to it, slowly shifting foward as he held a shotgun in his hands. And then, strange monsters appeared out of it. Other rifts appeared, consuming a number of buildings around the village. Nobody was prepared. They attacked so quickly. People ran but not fast enough. The creatures didn't seem to kill anyone. It was kinda like the old Japanese stories. Children would be swooped up in the middle of the night by some unknown demon, until they were gone--poof, spirited away-- never to be seen again.

At this moment, that wristwatch that never came off began to burn on my arm. It pulsated, it singed, it ached... For a second, I felt I should run, but as soon as it began glowing, I felt I couldn't move away.

It spoke. Talking for a long moment, instantaneously with time slowed down before me. It gave a long diatribe about some ancient alien race which had gone long extinct. This race suffered something just as we did now, and had devised weapons to stop this. They consulted old texts and new technology. They blended the powers, magical and technological. What came was a set of battle armor meant to end the horde from beyond. They tried. By the time the suits were ready, the horde had killed most of them off. Only the scientists were alive, as much as they knew. It was apparent that they would not be saved. Inside this suit lay one of the scientists, who called themselves architects. He never spoke of what the race was called, calling it "irrelevant." He only wanted to preserve other races, as did the others. The other architects, and other battle systems remain unknown, but it is believed they had been tasked to wander the farthest depths of the galaxy, looking for life not yet attacked.

And so the suit told me, and its mentor had awoken. Usteldt had been actuated. I hadn't known how to pilot the suit, yet a part of it felt organic, part of me. Its power was immense, able to teleport around, slice through some of the sturdiest monsters, blast out beams of concentrated energy, and even transport entire buildings, in some instances. The suit could last an hour, if unused, but all its weapons functions could drain it to equal anywhere in between that. Its a gamble. The monsters could be dispatched, and it felt like this "thing" could do near anything.

What it could not do, was save my sis, who had been dragged away before it could be realized. The creatures were dispatched, and the rift closed, but not before my sister was taken.

...

And that's my story... Afterwards, I moved out of that town. I never found out what happened to my sister, but it always stuck with me. Not only did I want to stop others to fall to a similar incident, but I also wanted to stop other monsters from taking lives, people, and the usual superhero threats to deal with. And maybe, I'll find out what happened to my sis after she was taken away to that strange rift

All the while being a student in art school.

Normally, I am just a slightly shy girl, a bit free-spirited. After always moving around, it never felt natural to somehow get into big groups of people. I kept only a handful of friends. Felt more comfy. I mean, I do have my outbursts. I hate having to be told what to do by teachers, cops. Okay, maybe I can get a little tense thanks to the whole "whole world on my shoulders" thing. I can be a bit protective, and alone I am... dealing with my own things... The counselor the school assigned me to, he says "you need to deal with your grief better. Realize you are safe." Well, I try.

Well, I like my art. I can manage things. She recommended trying to enjoy the little things as a way of coping. Well.... um... I like cats? Dogs? Most cute things, really. Coffee is nice. Um.... well, yeah. Gotta balance all of this... while trying to save the world. No pressure.... What could go wrong? No worries. Nothing bad'll happen.

U-steldt Battle Systems
Power Armor
Image
Powers: Power Armor brought to you by an alien race.
  • [Superhuman Power] Superhuman strength, Agility, Endurance, Awareness
  • [The Eight Swords of U-steldt] A mix of arcane and scientific arts, these energy swords are located on her waist and extend outwardly in a circle. These represent her magical reserves whilst wielding the armor. They are drained two at a time. She can wield these as energy swords or drain a full set of swords for an energy blast (can be augmented to be stronger, but requires more energy). They also work as a levitation and flight system for aerial combat
  • [teleportation/instantaneous velocity]
  • [Warp Circle] Able to place a teleportation circle around an object(s), allowing for instantaneous teleportation of an object. Depending on the object, will require more from her reserves.
  • [Energy shield]
  • [Superhuman endurance]
  • [mental immunity] Resistance to hypnotic attacks and other attacks to her mind.
  • [The Minor Swords]: A spell which allows her to split two swords (or more depending on desired output) into four minor swords, each. These swords surround an enemy and place them in a bounded area, marked by the minor swords.
  • [Multilayer Guidance System] The Architect often handles a number of suit functions, allowing for managing multiple threats and events, while preparing any subsidiary functions which may be needed at a moments notice.

Limitations:
  • [gotta work out the kinks] The user is still new to the suit. This can restrict not only the length of usage, but also the magnitude of her powers.
  • [Backseat Driver] The Architect can also restrict or stop any power if it is believed it may cause unnecessary harm to the planet or its people, the raison d'etre of the suit itself.
  • [Theft Protection] The Architect will reject any user it feels is unfit for usage. Also, this watch never comes off, so...

Weaknesses:
  • [Limited Reserves] Time restricted-energy reserves cannot be contained and leak out naturally. Using energy reserves also plays into this. It was either an accidental feature caused due to impact or a constraint put in place in case the suit goes haywire. As an indicator of energy levels, the swords also change color based on power level: green and large (full power), Blue and medium sized (medium power), red and small (Getting close to E).
  • [Peak Human] Will die if you punch her hard enough, as well. Even easier if she is in normal form. yep, that last part is a bit of a shocker for some people.

Likes: Outside of what has already been mentioned, she also enjoys classical music, painting and photography. Girls and boys.
Dislikes: Authority, Interdimensional Rifts, Those who do not like My Little Pony.

Birthday: December 21st, 1997

Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:

Young Blood, Warhound or Other?: Young Blood
If YB, Founding Member?: No
Bio: Hello there! My name's Max, I'm 15 year old, and I was born and raised in the great city of Los Angeles to an aspiring film director and makeup artist. My family has lived a modest lifestyle in a small apartment situated in a... well, let's say less than pleasant part of town. Now, I know what you're thinking; 'Max, we don't care about your home life! Where are the powers?' That comes a bit later my good friends, and you know what they say. Good things come to those who wait. Now, back to our story. Due to the limited nature of my family's financial status, I spent a lot of time running around in various parts of the city in order to entertain myself. I was smart enough to know what areas to avoid, and as long as I occasionally checked in with my familia they really didn't care. In retrospect that probably wasn't the safest arrangement. But what's life without some risk? Anyways, one night I was wandering around a bit later than usual on my own near a storage rental when I heard what sounded vaguely like ominous chanting. Being both inquisitive and reckless, I decided to see what the local blood cult was up to and hopped the fence to go investigate.

Let me tell you, that was one shitty idea. After entering a warehouse whose windows were emanating some very strange colored lights I came across the even stranger scene of five hooded men standing in a circle around a pentagram of multi-colored fire chanting away in what I assume was the Lord's Prayer backwards. Whatever it was, it was very trippy and very not good. It was at this point the my common sense finally kicked in and I decided that it might be a good idea to turn around and run as far away as possible. Sadly panicked Max isn't nearly as quiet as curious Max. In order to keep things brief let's just say loud noises tend to distract cultists and when you break mystical chants bad things happen. The ensuing rainbow colored explosion blew the robed figures to god knows where and I was left with a billowing column of fire that was saying something about granting my every wish. Now I was reasonably terrified at this point and my slightly traumatized self decided that everything was just a dream, and that I would wake up in bed soon. In a way, I was right. Soon after that statement slipped out of my mouth my new bro fire column decided to explode out of existence, sending a convenient piece of rubble flying into my head. Next thing I knew I woke up at the hospital in, you guessed it, a bed.

Now I didn't understand what had happened then. My powers are a strange and subtle thing at times and often it's hard to tell if something happened because I said it or if it was gonna happen anyway. I think one of the first hints I actually noticed was when my I told my dad I'd break a leg and it actually happened. Once I figured it all out I started the next logical step, experimentation. Over the course of the next month a number of strange occurrences took place in and around my school and neighborhood. People's pants were suddenly very fragile, some people took eat shit way too literally, and the school just had the worst issues with power outages. Could I have been a bit more subtle? Sure. But what's the fun in that? Besides, even if someone notices, it's not like they'll tie it back to me, right?
Powers:
  • Vocifery: Up to a limit, whatever Max says comes true. This includes metaphors, literal statements, and figures of speech.

Limitations:
  • Unforseen Consequences: Max can hurt himself and his friends on accident if he isn't careful in wording things. If he is vague what he says may come about in an unexpected or unintended way.
  • Laws of Reality: To a certain degree Max is limited by the laws of nature, especially when dealing with living beings. He cannot permanently alter the way a person thinks and attempting to influence too many people at once can simply end in nothing happening. An immediate drastic change to someone's physiology is also impossible, including increasing strength or giving/taking away powers. Inanimate objects and physics are much easier to manipulate, but an excessive request will not work.

Weaknesses:
  • Human Condition: Max is a teenager with nothing outside of some minor physics manipulation to enhance his physical attributes.

Likes: Food, pranks, jokes, running his mouth
Dislikes: Taking it slow, sitting around

No matter how often I read it the description of the Warhounds sounds contradicting to me. It basically says "if you want to play an evil teen app Warhound" followed by "Teens who believe they work for the government." Why would an evil teen join an orgenization they believe is part of the government that assumedly try to do good. Or is it that some are in the know of what's going on or do all missions just happen to be so violent that the evil teens don't mind working for the government, or are these evil teens forced to be in the supposedly government group to supposedly do good while actually doing evil which is masked as good.

The more I type the more I confuse myself.

I can see why.

But the thing to keep in mind here is that you're assuming that the organization would want to do good simply because it's tied to a government. A government, most of the time, only wants to do good for itself (perhaps even the people they govern, if you have a particularly good one), which often involves doing shit to others. Hence the fact that the Warhounds are passed off as a government special ops group. They're hitmen, on the government's payroll (supposedly), but hitmen no less. They get to do shady shit and get paid for it.

In other words, Warhounds do not know they're working for Ares and Reckoning, but they know that they're going to be doing things that are considered morally grey at best, and outright evil at worst.

Also, the Belgian flag colors thing was a coincidence :P

In that case I need to change Elfie from Warhounds to Young Bloods because while she is very easy to manipulate she's not going to be doing things she considers evil, I mean, she has issue just hitting someone unconscious.

I'll leave that between you and Tom. Suffice to say they're not very different from their previous iteration, which you had no issue with.
