How does the machine work?

The Machine itself is pretty complex and only Neuron knows how to use it. Basically, he uses it by pointing the machine, which can fit in the palm of his hand, at the person he wishes to affect. He then presses a button, which causes the machine to fire out a ray of light towards the victim, which affects their brain and causes the illusions to happen. If he is desperate, he presses a button that causes the machine to let out a huge burst of light that effects everyone in a 50ft radius, including him. He only uses that feature however, as a last ditch escape plan.

Does Neuron determine what the victim sees? If Neuron doesn't, are the illusions automatically tailor-made to mess with the victim (e.g. generating illusory figures based on people from the victim's past) or are they completely random?

Think you have to talk to Tomia about that. We're not keen on letting everyone mess with those crystals.

I didn't have my character mess with them, but I heavily hinted so far that they are present in the area, for the end that someone would destroy the village in search of them, considering I believe theres a thing in the OP about a very powerful group wanting them.

Otherwise I can do some mass edits to figure something else out. It was just a way to propel my character more into the storyline from thousands of miles away.

I think the only faction mentioned that is after crystals (besides the one in the IC, which already has one) is the Nik'Drazil Empire. Their author is Illica Falki, you may want to shoot her a TG or something.

Whoever it is will have to do a lot of digging to get to that giant crystal underground, anyway.

Yeah, ok, but now Wander is basically imprisoned with Jimmy, so the whole team combat thing might not work as well if he has to fight for his life all alone inside a thoroughly condensed hurricane.

People can enter as well... And also, yeah, it will be fun, but it should be fine within the eye. I think. Physics works like that I think. And I took it as more cut off from other objects. And worse comes to worse, she can come over to help you.
