That's kewl :P A couple of character ideas I have revolve around Artisan artifacts too. Standard issue gear falling into the hands of humans, basically.

I think you'd best keep them separate, but you can definitely merge them as well.

I'm thinking of starting out as Armadillo People, perhaps as an Embassy and a slice of life sort of starter arc? LYCHEM will be reserved for a later arc. Speaking of aliens, how many are permitted to live upon Earth?

Sounds good. And I'm not sure what you mean by that question. You can make an alien if you wish (there's a few alien heroes and villains, even), but I think New Adai is supposed to be the only significant alien settlement on Earth. I'm sure even that can be negotiated, though.

Most likely he'll be the son of the diplomat to Earth, and wants to go forth and explore the world, kick butt, and figure out how "magic" works.

Kratt Kaan's armour is Artisan in origin, that could be incorporated somehow. (The Artisans left artifacts on Na'ak for the same reasons they left them on Earth, for example.)

The Artisan Artifact is a Symbiote race. They reside upon an otherwise uninhabited planet under observation.

I could think about it, but my plan was to simply say they had drifted down to Earth after floating through space for a long time.

In all likelyhood the Artisans would've been long extinct by the time humans came along, anyway.

Meat vision, ability to make a tidal wave... on the other side of the globe.

EDIT: and the ability to know the exact location of the nearest pair of scissors.

Or for a more serious ones. Scissor combat: the ability to summon and manipulate scissors to attack the enemies, launching them at the opponent, or just go stabby.

Sodium Manipulation: the power to manipulate salt.

Condiment manipualtion it is, can control iodized salt, ketchup, mustard, etc.

The first time i clicked the link i got non created physiology, then Superpowered physiology, then vibration attacks, the last would be inapplicable, as it was Hypnotic breasts.....

But Condiment manipulation can work, it can be useful, but is a silly ish power.

Name: Lazarus Goldman
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human-Grey Hybrid
Appearance: He is taller than average, standing at around 6'4", and possesses an athletically lanky build. He has shoulder length dark blonde hair that usually flies about wildly. He is muscular, but has more definition than muscle mass and the gifts of his abilities help him sufficiently. He usually wears sleeveless Tees or button up Hawaiian shirts, a personal preference.
Young Blood, Warhound or Other?: Young Blood
If YB, Founding Member?: Y/N no
Bio: Lazarus was born in Wisconsin, to a modestly wealthy family. He was a normal child, though he never seemed to stay injured or sick for long. The only time he was sick or injured for a long period of time was when he fell while climbing a tree and broke an arm, he recovered from that within only a couple weeks instead of the close to a month it would normally require for such an injury at his age. That was the first sign that he was not exactly a normal child, but aside from that he was normal. He always gave his parents trouble, once he learned he had powers, he would always get into fights and such for the right reasons, though fights nonetheless. Eventually, his father, a prior Marine, taught him some basic self defense and close combat skills.

Over time he developed those skills, and became rather skilled, for what little experience he had. He had been going along and enjoying his life and abilities, but life throws curve-balls, his came in the form of a major accident. He had been walking to his High School, when a group of unsavory individuals, that he had encountered before, attacked and ambushed him, this time they were more ruthless as they caught him by surprise. They left him unconscious and beaten, on the road side, if that was all that happened, it would have been fine, relatively speaking, but it wasn't. A car chase went through that area, and the offending vehicle crashed and hit his prone figure, seemingly killing him.

After that his 'body' was taken to a hospital and alter the morgue. It was there that it happened, The Grey, and alien organism, that parasitically took over dead bodies, tried to take his body, and succeeded in part. However unbeknownst to everyone, even Lazarus himself, he wasn't dead, not exactly. His regeneration factor was slow, but extremely thorough, it worked on a molecular level, and even after his 'death', it healed his body and kept what needed to be kept for his body and him to survive to stay there. Normally, this would have taken much longer, but the Grey did something, changed and corrupted his DNA, making him something more, than human, or superhuman, but different. He soon after 'awoke', needless to say, a dead body coming back to life, cause quite a stir.

After that incident, he moved, without his parents, as while they could handle his powers, they could not handle the fact that he could seemingly come back from the dead. He moved from Wisconsin, the state he had been in since birth, mostly, and left heading elsewhere. For a time he just wandered, though it was only for a month or two, he got a handle on his powers, or at least what they did. Recently he has made his way to California and started attending a certain college, that also has an attached Art School.
Powers:
  • Healing Factor: He actively heals, faster than a human normally would. A normal cut will heal within a day, broken bones will heal within weeks instead of months, depending. He rarely gets ill, and if he does it lasts for a short time. He heals on a molecular level and even if his body is damaged to where most would die, his body will survive, and he can seemingly revive or resurrect. He also ages slower than most, but each time he resurrects, his body resets in a sense, to being at its peak, including the condition of his cells and molecules.
  • Power Randomization: Each time he regenerates/resurrects revives, his powers, aside from this and healing are randomly chosen and replaced. Some powers however may be kept, though that is to be determined, as he does not know how much the grey changed him.
  • Condiment Manipulation: He can control and generate certain types of condiments.
  • Data infusion: He can generate data and infuse parts of himself or other items with it to make them stronger or more durable.

Limitations (Reasons why your char can’t end the universe):
  • Severe enough damage can put him in a death like state, and leave him nearly immobile and or comatose.
  • His powers aside from healing are random and temporary.
  • He can only manipulate and control Condiments within 5 feet of himself and can control or generate no more than 15 or so gallons or the like of said material. He can only control a few condiments, which include, salt, ketchup, mustard and others. He must concentrate when controlling large quantities.
  • He can only infuse one part of his body or one item, with his data infusion. The only exception being that he can infuse a handful of smaller things at a time, though they are individually less powerful. Additionally, someone who has actual data controlling abilities will be able to undo or take control of the infused limb or item.

Weaknesses:
  • Fast but not fast enough: While he regenerates at a rate faster than normal humans it is slower than others might have, and when he is injured enough he become incapacitated, and though he heals from a molecular level he can be killed if enough damage is dealt. Additionally, dependent upon where he was injured and how badly, he may forget things.
  • Bonding pains: Due to being part Grey now, he is slightly weak to fire as well as being weak to the abilities of Rainbow Wardens.
  • So little time: He usually only has any powers for a short period time, making it difficult for him to master or efficiently use his abilities.
  • Recklessness: His fighting style is generally reckless, so he can be easily injured, though he is not stupid.
  • Feel The Burn Love The Burn: Understandably, feeling your body die and the pain of that, does have certain psychological effects, mostly related to him being reckless and uncaring about his body.
  • Thoughts Not His Own: Being bonded to an organism that corrupts DNA and takes dead bodies in its mission to destroy and absorb everything does indeed have its consequences and problems. He constantly fights the urge and corruption that his not so human DNA now brings. This can be tied into his emotional state, the more emotionally unstable he is, the more the urge to destroy surfaces.

Likes: Food, fighting, food, sports, reading, some forms of art.
Dislikes: His powers (Kind of), Pain, the Grey.

Additional Information (Optional; remove if unused)-
Birthday: Dec, 25 1998
Theme song:
Favorite food: Pizza
Greatest fear: His powers turning him into a monster

Name: Bu ''King'' Liao
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Image
Group: War Hound

Bio:

Hailing from a poor Chinese family Bu Liao's powers manifested themselves early on in his development as a youth. Exposed to traditional forms of martial arts and street fighting in the shabby streets he found himself being able to perform many of the moves effortlessly. Recognizing his talent his father quickly put him on the black market for a fortune, advertising his martial abilities. Sold to a crime boss who specialized in the business of underground fighting Bu was fostered among many other boys in the martial arts, training as a young boy to learn how to kill.

When he reached his teenage years Bu was forced into fighting other boys for the entertainment of countless unknown faces around China in cruel, criminal enterprises. Defeating his adversaries, mostly without a scratch, in a most brutal manner he earned a reputation as the 'king' of the fight cage and ring. The crime boss who had bought and trained him sought to exploit his fighter, seeking to expand his name from China to the global fight clubs across the world. It was at the peak of his fame in the Chinese illegal fight scene that the young boy would be rescued by a group masquerading as the 'Warhounds'.

The Warhounds introduced themselves as a covert special operations division that worked for the purpose of bettering the world. Persuaded by the promise of vengeance and retribution against those who had stolen his innocence as a child Bu Liao joined them under the codename of 'King'. He would be rigorously trained and honed as a soldier by the Warhounds, assisting them on their global operations. Known for completing the objective no matter the cost he was seen as a young, merciless supersoldier. Though not a sadist Bu was fixed in his loyalty and dedication to the Warhounds and Ares, constantly pushing himself in the belief that he was changing the world for the better good.

Powers:
  • [Body Supremacy]: He has the power to attain complete control of his body through applied rigorous, consistent training both mentally and physically. If attained he will transcend into superhuman capabilities, having total control over every process within his body except involuntary processes such as the beating of his heart. This will enable him access to a vast range of possibilities, examples being the formation of an intravenous exoskeleton, self-manipulative puppetry, contaminant immunity, physical augmentation and much more only by activation from his mind.
  • [Adoptive Muscle Memory]: By witnessing a bodily action being performed once he can perfectly copy it, subsequently performing it flawlessly. This can range from martial arts to firing a gun to playing a piano.
  • [Special Ops Mastery]: His abilities have greatly accelerated Bu's training in the art of war, specifically special operations. He can perform at the level of a Tier-1 commando with exceptional technique in unarmed and armed arts and coupled with combat experience; is a very deadly human.
  • [100 Percent Muscle Usage]: Through the power of his mind Bu can activate and utilize every muscle within his body
  • [Accelerated Development]: As Bu acquires new skills at an incredible rate his body is genetically geared to respond to this unprecedented skill acquisition by accelerating his natural physical and mental capabilities; an ability which can be activated through training. Highly increased times are accrued leading to unprecedented accumulation of muscle mass, accelerated growth and development of other bodily aspects such as the strengthening of the tendons and ligaments.
  • [Peak Human Condition]: The power of intense, strenuous training regimens and his supernatural ability to accelerate his physical and mental development have greatly extended his capabilities to that of near superhuman. His physical prowess is normally that of an athletic Olympian and he is able to complete feats that demonsrate the pinnacle of human capability such as bending thin steel bars and being able to overpower multiple enemies physically at once.
  • [Aim Dodging/Body Language Analysis]: Utilisation of elite military training and innate mental acuity Bu possesses the ability to evade projectiles much faster than he is that travel in a linear path such as bullets or arrows simply by positioning himself to avoid it. This is achieved by sharp reflex and extreme reaction times as well as the analysis of a persons body language which aids him very well when engaged in hand-to-hand combat.

Limitations:
  • Training is required to maintain skills acquired/mimicked
  • Evasion is limited to the number of targets he can maintain focus on
  • Body movement analysis is limited by the physical capabilities of his opponent for example super velocity superhumans
  • Prediction of opponents movements is limited by his own physical capability
  • His conscious superhuman powers are activated and governed by his mental state.
  • The achievement of supremacy over his body requires a complete mental focus for a long time undisturbed and this meditation must continue regularly to maintain this ability, like the required training to maintain mimicked skills. This only will push the capabilities of the human body to their maximum capabilities with Bu having control over all aspects.
  • Cancellation of specific bodily functions can occur due to activation of certain powers. For example self-manipulative puppetry can allow him to keep moving unhindered despite grievous injuries but sensory processes governing things like pain will be inactive.
  • Total control of bodily functions such as 100 percent muscle control is limited by certain involuntary, vital processes of the body such as the beating of the heart and molecular, cellular activity.
  • He is unable to mimic alien creatures and their forms of martial arts unless they are very closely humanoid in nature in which case it will take him a bit of time to understand them
  • Skills that are not sensed by him will not be attained. For example high-diving without knowledge of how to swim
  • Cannot perform martial arts beyond body’s capabilities

Weaknesses
  • [Human Body]: He can be killed by standard weaponry if caught vulnerable. This relates directly to his mental state such as if he is in a period of meditation, rest or compromised in some way.
  • [Mind-Muscle Connection]: Cutting off his mind from the rest of his body such as severing of the nerves through things like being fried by extreme conduits of electricity or entering a comatose state can sever his powers either temporarily or permanently if the damage is extensive.
  • [Muscle Burnout]: If he puts his muscles under long periods of duress he risks burning out completely, facing a comatose state or even death if he wills himself even further.
  • [Untapped Potential]: Preferring action over inaction Bu Liao has never realized his powers he could wield if he focused on the true abilities of his mental state over his physical state. He pursues physical excellence like an obsession, seeking to not lose any mimicked skill to lack of training. This neglect suppresses his superhuman potential of attaining body supremacy and 100 percent muscle usage.
  • [Emotional Instability]: His emotional state is skewed as a result of having been exposed to horrors early on in life. He can become berserk if provoked and this will endanger teammates and enemies alike. Trauma suffered will leave him wracked with flashbacks and he can suffer mental breakdowns if an external factor influences a recall of a flashback.

Known for completing the objective no matter the cost he was seen as a young, merciless supersoldier. Though not a sadist Bu was fixed in his loyalty and dedication to the Warhounds and Ares, constantly pushing himself in the belief that he was changing the world for the better good.

Powers:
  • [Body Supremacy]: He has the potential to attain complete control of his body through applied rigorous, consistent training both mentally and physically. If attained he will transcend into superhuman capabilities, having total control over every process within his body except involuntary processes such as the beating of his heart.
  • [100 Percent Muscle Usage]: Through the power of his mind Garry can activate and utilize every muscle within his body
  • [Accelerated Development]: As Garry acquires new skills at an incredible rate his body is genetically geared to respond to this unprecedented skill acquisition by accelerating his natural physical and mental capabilities; an ability which can be activated through training.
  • [Peak Human Condition]: The power of intense, strenuous training regimens and his supernatural ability to accelerate his physical and mental development have greatly extended his capabilities to that of near superhuman.

Limitations:
  • Training is required to maintain skills acquired/mimicked
  • Evasion is limited to the number of targets he can maintain focus on
  • Prediction of opponents movements is limited by his own physical capability
  • The achievement of supremacy over his body requires a complete mental focus for a long time undisturbed and this meditation must continue regularly to maintain this ability, like the required training to maintain mimicked skills. This only will push the capabilities of the human body to their maximum capabilities with Garry having control over all aspects.
  • Total control of bodily functions such as 100 percent muscle control is limited by the involuntary, vital processes of the body such as the beating of the heart.

Hey, I'm pretty interested, so here's my app. Tell me if I need to change anything.

CODE: SELECT ALL

Name: Wander

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Race: South American. He doesn't know the specifics.

Appearance (pics if possible): https://orig11.deviantart.net/86b1/f/20 ... 7tl6ea.jpg

Young Blood, Warhound or Other?: Young Blood

If YB, Founding Member?: Y/N
If there's room, then yes.

Bio:
A street urchin born in a crime-ridden country he never even knew the name of, Wander's early life was a constant fight for survival. Every day involved scrounging around for food, and then fighting off others who wanted to take that food. He and the small groups of fellow street children he was part of often wound up fighting, injuring, and killing other people, both young and old.

However, one day when he was little older than eight, a teenager wandered through the town. As she passed the children, she gave them food, and then protected them from the adults who tried to take it from them, going so far as to take on several at once. Intrigued by the young woman, Wander followed her out of the town, and when she asked why, he told her he wanted to be like her. Worried about the extra 'baggage', the girl tried to convince him to go back, but eventually gave up when it was clear he wasn't giving up. When she asked him his name, however, he became confused, as the concept of 'names' had never really been important enough to focus on, given the constant struggle that had been his life. Oddly enough, this was something they had both shared, as she herself hadn't known her own name for a long time, having a very similar childhood. Eventually, she had decided her name would be Lone, as when she had first decided to leave her town, no one else had joined her. She then told him that it always seems most fitting to come up with a name when you first start your journey, to give the fact that you are essentially starting a new life the weight it deserves. After a short while, thinking through his limited vocabulary, he decided on a word Lone had used a lot, describing a large part of his new life.

Wander.

It was Lone who told him about heroes. She told him all about the people who had powers, both the ones who defended the weak, and those who preyed upon them. As it turned out, she wanted to be a hero herself, even though she had no powers of her own, and was traveling to the United States to try and become one officially. Her words inspired him, and he told her that, when she became a hero, he would try to become one as well. And so they began their travels together. Unfortunately, it was a fairly common thing for them to get distracted, becoming involved in some act of justice or another, and it took them far longer than they'd expected to even make it to Mexico.

It was during one of these distractions that Wander discovered his powers. A small criminal group had kidnapped a child, and he and Lone went to rescue the girl. A fight quickly ensued, and in the resulting chaos, Wander had to jump in front of Lone to protect her from gunfire. At first, he was certain that he would be killed. However, it quickly became apparent that not only was he distinctly not dead, but his skin was covered in an odd, hard shell, which the bullets could not penetrate.

And that was where the situation went from a fight to a clean up.

As it turned out, that little thing known as poverty had forced Wander to eat a large number of disgusting things as a child, including things like cockroaches and rats. When he jumped in font of Lone, he had wished desperately that he had a hard shell, like the bugs he had eaten, and as a result, one had formed. After they had returned the child to her family and moved on, he tried replicating the fur of a rat the same way he had with the cockroach, while Lone watched on curiously. Despite his hopes, he was still very surprised when it ended up working. As they traveled, he and Lone did what they could to figure out more about his power.

In the end, they settled on the idea that he could replicate the features and physiology of any animal he has eaten. However, they also realised that it weakened him considerably afterwards, leaving him exhausted and starving if he remained shifted for too long.

They continued to travel for many years, constantly getting distracted, lost, and backtracking. By the time they got anywhere even close, he was already 16. However, just a little ways out of San Diego, the two were caught in a fight between a minor, no name supervillain and police. The police were able to settle it quite quickly, some stray shots from the villain hit Lone's lower leg, partially mangling it and damaging her achilles tendon practically beyond repair. In the end, an ambulance was called, and Lone was taken to a hospital in San Diego, Wander staying by her side the whole time. When they got there, a diagnosis on the damage was clear. It would take a miracle for Lone to ever so much as walk again without a crutch, let alone become a hero. Knowing that her lifelong dream would never come true, Lone nearly broke down then and there. In the end, it was only Wanders reaction, which was almost even more devastated than hers, which helped Lone to keep her head. Unable to hold back his tears, he promised her that even if she couldn't become a hero, he would make sure to become the greatest hero in the world in her place.

After she was discharged from the hospital, Wander began to rent a small, shoddy, cheap apartment for the two of them. He also got a part time job at a nearby news agent, which barely let them afford the necessary costs for them to survive. He did, however, put a lot of effort into improving his technically serviceable cooking abilities, as well as acquiring rare meats, like bear.

Powers:
  • [Carnivorous Assimilation]:
Wander can replicate the physical features of any animal he consumes the meat of. For example, he can replicate the carapace or claws of a crab if he eats one, or the tail of a scorpion.
  • [Extreme Omnivore]:
Wander can eat just about any organic material in existence and be completely fine. Poison will not effect him, as long as he consumes it.

Limitations (Reasons why your char can’t end the universe):
  • Wander cannot keep his replications up forever, because the mere act of keeping them causes his body to burn calories far faster than normal. The longer he keeps his features replicated, the tireder and more malnourished he gets, and its entirely possible for him to starve to death in just over an hour and a half. This becomes worse when he uses replicated multiple different features at once. It is also rather common for him to be completely exhausted after long replications, to the point where he can't even stand.

Along with the physical aspects, Wander will occasionally act on more animalistic instincts rather than logic, due either to him actively altering the way his brain works through replications, or merely lasting effects of doing so. It is even possible for him to completely lose himself temporarily, becoming a danger to everyone around him, if he makes certain, particularly intense replications.

Weaknesses (Reasons why someone could kick their ass):
  • [Barely Academically Competent]: He never went to school, so he only knows basic reading, writing and maths from what Lone had taught him. He knows what he needs to for his job and cooking, but he cannot apply it to other situations.
  • [Inferiority Complex]:
Due to spending his childhood on the streets and aforementioned poor academic knowledge, Wander often feels inferior to the people around him, even though he does his best to hide the fact. However, it often leads to him feeling like he needs to do a lot more, in order to prove himself as being on the same level as the others.

Likes: Cooking, heroism, fighting, martial arts, drums.

Dislikes: Mercenaries, arrogance, wasting food.

Additional Information (Optional; remove if unused)-

Birthday: He doesn't know.

Theme song: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O4FVtqEZs2k

Favorite food: Curry

Greatest fear: Failing Lone or letting her get hurt again.

Nay, the RP is not just in San Diego, but the Young Bloods will form there, so there's that.

However, I think the OP said we have enough founding members for now, so there should be no issue with Lone and Wander being elsewhere and getting recruited a bit later.

I still am not sure what the Warcanines's deal is exactly. But! Depending just how far the Floydman wishes to push his pawns Elfie will feel uncomfterable at least. I do not know whether they ever face will the Youthful Bloodies. But! If they do then that can lead to Elfie swapping teams.
