Upon furth consideration, I've narrowed it down to either the confluence on the Niles or the Yorubaland in west Africa.

Seeing a decently power west Africa is justice in and of itself, but the Nile definitely provides interaction possibilities and East Africa had some nice early state presence.

Also, would early Egypt be a thing already? It seems like this would be about Sumerian/Egyptian time period, no?

Aye, there are some primitive city-state civilizations in the Nile watershed.

You know, I should try and build the cities of Green Bay and Chicago. Green Bay will be a place for warriors to compete and those who win will be part of an elite vanguard force known as the Packers. Chicago will be ruled by merchant houses known as the Mafia and the city be the second largest in Ego.

So I have talked to Ulls, and he has agreed to let me spawn in his nation. I honestly think this is an easier starting point than in Europe.

Full Name: Turner Jackson
Age: 19
Appearance: Thin, African-American man of average height, with brown eyes and black hair.
Height and Weight: 5 foot 6 inches, 160 pounds
Religion: Christianity
Field of Expertise:
Skills and Strengths: Decent level of intelligence and wisdom. Decent level of understanding of geography and world history, as well as an understanding of warfare and battle tactics. Ambitious, and will not give up easily.
Weaknesses: Not particularly a socialite; Turner prefers to keep to himself at times. Turner has asthma, making exercise and strenuous activity more difficult.
Where in the world are you landing?: Ego

G, forgot to ask. You know being immortal and all. Can you update me on the immortality situation.

Do civilians know? I think I've heard you only mention one time that the greycloaks hunt immortals, but I'm not sure. And finally what do you do to immortals. Basically everything on the immortality subject.

Civilians know the Hegemon is immortal- some, though a definite minority, likely suspect there are other immortals about. There is the Priest-King of Holy Scythia, after all, who Scythian claim has lived for at least six decades without growing older. On average, though, your Imperial citizen would consider a man who didn't age to be a man of evil intent who has managed to defy the natural order of the world- the Hegemon is the exception, due to being the bearer of the Word and sent to guide humanity to greatness and up out of her darkness.

Greycloaks do indeed hunt immortals, insofar as they hunt men or women who practice mysticism or shamanism to the detriment of the Imperium of Man. Only their commanders at the highest level know this hunt includes Decievers- men from out of time who are returned in order to oppose the Hegemon's holy mission.

Of course, nobody has ever caught an Author yet. But they would be imprisoned, their brains wracked for knowledge to complement the Annals of the Ages, and eventually executed. They represent the largest threat to the Imperium, after all.

If I send my longships to this kingdom in Britany, would the Normandy Imperium fleet spot them coming from the North Sea?

Nah. I doubt there is a significant amount of military activity in the Channel- the nearest ports the Imperium bases ships out of are in North Germany. I was just talking about the future when I was talking about Normandy.

Holy crap, I thought it was less than that, I mean assuming immortality comes from people of the 'old world', you'd might've wanted to have someone to talk to or enslave. Didnt expect straight up killing. I mean yes essentially they are a threat, but I see potential in it. Like talking, so you don't go CRAZY, or using them for something cuz their talented in a certain profession, but having them under strict watch.

Spoiler: Viktor is actually already a bit crazy; I can't honestly conceive of a way to characterise him that doesn't involve either psychopathy or megalomania.

Skills are great, but ultimately the world can get by without them, as opposed to the fact that people with the knowledge of what will come are the only true threat to Viktor's self imposed quest for a united humanity. It isn't called the Imperium of Some Guys, after all.

Ted plans to not lose his sanity, and the thought of you imprisoning and killing him seems scary. I was actually considering not starting a revolt too, since when I think bout it all I need to be is a vassal who has control of the Mediterranean, but I am now concern for my chars life.

I've been considering it, but I need to give Italy more freedom, so that they'll be more independent. You know convert them to vassals. I beat there's a good number of people who still want independence, but I fear that the unity in inpendence isn't good enough. I do plan to meet in secret with various leaders, since I can't trust anybody in the imperium.

Whatever you want just that we can help in making Italy free and can give them trade from the Atlantic once we can deal with the European diseases.
